I think we will continue to see transfers left and right. As someone mentioned earlier, d1 is really just the NFL minor leagues. Especially when one considers the consolidation of teams into a couple leagues/conferences….

La Tech LB Tyler Grubbs enters the portal. Would be nice to see him end up at a P5 school as a starter.

Be nice to see Grubbs in SEC! Hogs haven't been shy to play White LBs lately!

This Transfer Portal is becoming the wild wild West!

Yes indeed Bucky on TE Morlock ; sleeper from D2 school should get a chance in the NFL.
And Grubbs could fit in with Arkansas nicely!

Another D-Lineman mentioned in 2021 thread last December after his Bowl game that caught my eye.
Western Michigan's Braden Fiske.6'-5" 300 stud ...

......Coming out of HS only offers were Western Michigan and Illinois State.
Now, he's got major programs fighting over him. New offers from LSU, Florida, Notre Dame, Penn State and a few others.
Check it out

And LSU WR Jack Bech ...battled injuries early on in a deep WR group with a QB limited in his passing game.Fumbled opening kickoff vs Tennessee. Was thrown a quick pass (almost pass interference ball bounced off helmet for INT) pass Sat. in SEC Championship game in
Dude has the "It" factor at 6'-2" 215 should also be on an NFL Roster one day

Nice find on Fiske! Glad to see Bech decide to move on from a bad situation in LSU. Keeping a eye on Nussmeier too.

Former Texas/USC WR Jake Smith re-enters the portal
Goodness. The importance of making the correct decision, the 1st time!! Safe to say Smith was enamored with the big boys crootin pitches..

I'm scared but excited to see where Carson Steele ends up. The kid is a superstar and he only has 6 percent body fat. His
numbers lifting weights in the gym are superman like. He evens squats over 600 lbs. Hope he chooses wisely. A big part of
me still wishes he would just stay at Ball State who has been so good to the kid!

UC Davis TE McCallen Castles (6'-5" 233lb Junior) transferring to Tennessee. Has a legit shot in the NFL if he stays healthy.

I would like to see Spegal in the MAC! He’s perfect for it, maybe he can replace Carson Steele at Ball State?

Prediction time. Carson Steele goes to Iowa. If he does I'm going to spend the money and stream every Iowa game next year. Does anyone know what happened to Wisconsin running back Schippers ? I know how good Braellen Allen was last year though he really took a nose dive this time and Nebraska transfer Chez Mellusi is no slouch but I dont see any stats on Schippers.

Steele is clearly not a burner but is clearly stronger than another white rb of recent memory who is much larger is quick and can cut on a dime for a big back and now he some times blocks for Austin Ekeler because of his skin color. Ekeler's half brother is probably more talented than him at rb but will never see the field for Wyoming. If Eric Weddle had an IQ of 45 and was not such a great all around pure football player no one would remember Jason Sehorn as the l;ast great white corner to play in the NFL. Guess we gotta wait for another year for Cooper DeJean to declare before he gets moved to safety to utilize his " athleticism ". Effing joke. This site as great as it is I am starting to feel is never going to make a dent in what we all see everyday especially in football which this is why the site was probably not named caste soccer by DW. A good man by the way. At least righteous. Its amazing how slow plodding unathletic rbs like Ron Dayne or that fat slob from the Steelers could have such illustrious careers while super white backs like Rob Konrad languished as a blocker.

WR Jake Smith plans to transfer back home to Arizona State. Let’s hope the 3rd time is the charm.

Speaking of Grayson McCall, his coach just took the Liberty job, wonder if McCall follows him there? Wouldn’t be my favorite school for him to go to but he would likely be pretty successful again with his coach.

I hope it works out for Smith. I saw that ASU got a commit from BYU transfer QB Jacob Conover.

McCall is one to watch out for. Liberty would be a lateral move at best. Lots of QB jobs open out there. McCall is now the top QB in the portal so he should have his pick of P5 schools.

I have already written Smith off despite the injuries. I believe he was the Gatorade National player of the year about 4 years ago. Not high on Skattebo. Looks like a poor mans Horvath.

Nah Skattebo and Horvath are nothing alike.

Horvath at 6'-3" 230 much taller; is more of the Brad Muster hybrid RB/ H-Back.
.....Skattebo is 5 '-10" 212 lower to the ground ( 7.4 avg per carry is impressive on any level) ; just a Soph runs more like Carson Steele. Stanford (grades?) could be a nice landing spot. Or the Mountain West ... Nevada already trying to lure him. Sun Belt Texas State just offered. Going to need some patience. Dude has the "It" factor; something extra!

Good to see Jake Smith going back to his home state like i thought before instead of USC. Hopefully he can still be a difference maker

I watched one Sac State game this year, and I was immensely impressed with Skattebo. He was super competitive and productive running, receiving, and in the return game. The guy is a stud, and I’d love to see him in a bigger program.
