Speaking of un-hate, i.e. Love, for non-American, but fashionably Black, fighters, in the controlled US media, I just happened upon this brilliant item from AOL News three years ago:

"[Sam] Peter improved to 30-1 by beating Maskaev, and that one loss was to Wladimir Klitschko.
So if the Peter-Klitschko rematch that everyone wants actually does
take place, and if Peter wins that rematch, Peter would join Lewis and
Marciano in that elite company.

Of course, the 27-year-old Peter
has a long career ahead of him, with many more opportunities to lose.
But it's possible that when we watch Peter, we're watching a fighter in
his prime right now who will some day be mentioned alongside a pair of
all-time greats, Lewis and Marciano
.

Thanks for posting that WW! That's another ridiculous piece of caste propaganda. From the start of his career you could see Peter would never be that good. Sure he has some skills but he's slow and usually comes into fights out of shape.

I'm glad you got your old username back...but man, it doesn't get any better than "Space Hillbilly". I have to thank you because I laughed every time I saw that.

I agree. Space Hillbilly is better than Lost.

I don't see what's so horrifying about that photo. I think he still wants to box. I can't get over his chest implant though...

Well Morrison is only 42 right now yet he looks like he's at least 55 in that picture. I guess all his drug use and the stress of prison has caught up with him.

Supposedly in jail he wasted down to 190 pound and his family did an intervention and he was able to get up to his normal non training weight when he took the hiv medication. He is obviously not taking it again. From what I read if you go on and off the medication the virus becomes resistant to the medication. Sad news...

His steroid abuse back in the day hasn't helped his cause. That stuff is all catching up to him. I'm sure he's desperate for money and that's the only reason he tried to fight again.

It’s hard to decide if there is anything really shocking about the photo. As he ages, his Native-American ancestry becomes more and more apparent, though. I haven’t followed all the ins and outs of Morrison the last decade or so. It’s sounds like he was/is waaayy out there.

Morrison was a meth-head and meth is probably the worst drug to be addicted to. Google some photos of meth-heads before and after only a few years of using, it's beyond pathetic the damage it does...

Judging by his interview on Fight Night Champion (youtube), Tommy looks to be using some type of strong stimulant (methamphetamine or cocaine). Lots of scratching, body movement, inability to keep his head still, etc.

His appearance and mannerisms may also be indicators of past substance abuse, along with life style choices that are catching up with him.

AIDS, blows to the head and drug addiction can all contribute to his current physical and mental condition.

True story. A buddy of mine went using the Golota vs Lewis fight. He went using the bathing room most appropriate once the battle began and when he obtained back again it experienced been over. definitely a little something was suspicious.

Is that double talk or did you originally post it in Swahili and run it through the online translator?

Don't forget that Tommy used to tan year-round. Even in winter he'd come in the ring with a deep tan.

Tanning, boxing, drugs, AIDS, alcohol, partying, perhaps thousands of women ... no wonder he looks 55 instead of 42.

He only started tanning after the Mercer loss. Before that they wanted to make him look as white as possible with his dyed blonde hair. I'm surprised they didnt give him to have a nickname like "The Viking Warrior" or somthing.

Very sad. I wish him the best. Tommy Morrison gave us some very good memories during a time when there were few top level white fighters.

I recall one interview with him in 2007 (in Details Magazine) when the reporter asked him what he learned in prison. "That I really don't like to be around black people" was his response.

As the article notes he lived a hard life.

The Duke had one the most devastating punches in boxing history. If he touched you square upside the head you went to sleep no matter who you were. Many a negro found this out the hard way. He was something of a hero of mine in Jr high, and high school. I hope he aint suffering too much on his way out of this upside down world.
