I'm back!

So glad the patriots won. One of the great comebacks in a super bowl and the best thing was wilson throwing the game winning INT. Edelman had a gritty performance, can't say enough about that.

The fight at the end of the game was great as it was the culmination of the most undisciplined team in the league showing just what sore losers they were. Seattles window has closed.

Now we have to hear all the experts say that afflettic measurables don't matter and change their story to fit jameez winston's narrative. I'll save the rest of that ran for the draft thread.

Great to be back. Unfortunately, I had a terrible day the day of Superbowl. My father passed away at 58.
Glad you are back but I am sorry to hear about your father. That is much too young to leave this world. My condolences.

Well this is a surprise! I thought Don had run off with the millions in profit he makes off this site!

It certainly was weird not having the site to read or post on for what was it ---a year? It sure seemed like it. And a Patriots Super Bowl win, of all the times to not have this community to commiserate and celebrate with that sure was rough.

There were many times I would log on and instinctively go to the site only to be greeted with the dead link warning. Then I would remember--no Caste Football.

Don I am sure glad the sites back. Good job in recovering it. I think the members should have an alternative method for staying in touch should something similar occur. We need another on line meeting spot, youtube, or twitter or something. Someway of staying together should a similar interruption occur.

I tried to find another site of like minded people but gee--it's rough out there in the internet. Nobody likes white athletes and sports it seems, neither the mainstream sites or the white nationalist ones. This is truly a unique place. Thank you Mr. Wassall.

For quite a while there I didn't know if the site could be recovered or not. It made an already endless winter that much gloomier.

As I mentioned in a Happy Hour thread in response to the good news that CelticDB is starting a Twitter account, I'm looking for a volunteer or two to help start up a Caste Football Facebook page. It will not only be a way of helping publicize the site, but will also provide us with a place to communicate should another "black swan" event occur.

One glitch I've noticed -- when I tried to change my avatar none of them work, including the one I had of Toby Gerhart that I tried to change. So for now I don't have one until that's worked out.

There's also a haywire thread in Happy Hour, and when I've edited my posts the edit shows up but I can't get back to the board without refreshing the page. So there's a few hiccups to deal with but at least most of the functionality appears to be working.

New member here, and really glad to see the site is back up. I've been a guest/follower for a few years and finally decided to join upon the site returning. Just wanted to make a quick intro, and I look forward to taking part in future discussions!

Good to see some posters back already after such a long time offline.

To update the past 7 1/2 weeks -- the owner of the Las Vegas company that had been hosting CF promised me the site wouldn't be taken down for a while. In the meantime I was trying to raise money and decide what to do as this guy wanted to charge $4,000 without even looking at it and determining how to fix the hack.

The next day the site was taken offline without any warning to me. After doing that and wanting to charge so much money I decided that there was no way I would deal with this company any more (the sudden takedown of the site seemed almost like financial strong-arming). I located a couple of people to work on it, but the main problem was getting the site transferred over because of the sheer size of it. It would have been easier if the LV company had put CF back online briefly, but they wouldn't do it.

One of the IT guys working on it brought it over very slowly, like in over 500 different pieces, one at a time. From there the other techie finally got it up and working just today.

It's been an agonizingly slow process, but the bottom line is the main goal of preserving the site and all the forum posts has been achieved. :clap2:

If you are still having any problems with the site, let me know as I don't know if all the problems caused by the hack have been fixed yet. For example, seeing the online drug ads, having problems logging in, etc. If you are trying to register but can't, email me at mail@castefootball.us.

Thanks for everyone's patience and perseverance. It is truly a great day for CasteFootball!
Have your money problems been solved? I feel guilty only donating a sawbuck but I won't pay the crazy vig that paypal charges for currency conversion so my donation was only really symbolic. If you still need some money I can send cash through the mail(when I get US currency) and I can leave a forward address if you have to send it back (it would be for a friend of mine down on his luck). Thanks, WIR.....:yo:

Moje kondolencje na twojej straty! Sadly I had a second cousin die on the day the Bucs won 12 years ago. I didn't watch the second half of the game and I was huge Alstott fan. I remember when I heard the news the game became a blur and lost it's importance to me. I can only imagine it being 10 times tougher when it's your father.

It was awful to have to read other sports forums while CF was down. Thankfully it is back now. Are you still going to remove the front page and have the forum as the homepage?

What a great day. It's good to be back online and to see many of the posters we know and love slowly returning too. Good job Don and you did the right thing to switch companies.

Good job Don. Thanks for sticking with it. Things like this always take longer than you think they will. Often a lot longer. I was beginning to wonder but I was also sure Don was doing his best.

I say raise a toast to Mr. Wassall and to his site making a continuing impact on the Caste mindset.

Yipee!

Great to see site back up and way to hang in there Don --talk about a rotten winter but spring is just around the corner(I hope) so the timing for the return is right on cue!

 IT'S BACK!!!!

I missed this place. I was checking back occasionally to see if the site had returned. I almost gave up hope.

Thank you, to Don and all of the people who contributed to keeping this site going.

I hated that the site was not around during such great moments in sports lately. I hope to see a recap of the playoffs and the Patriots Super Bowl run by Thrashen. I have to admit, I missed Thrashen's posts the most. I look forward to his descriptions of how 9 white guys on the Patriots offense riddled the coal black defense of Pete's plantation. :icon_lol:

It has been a tough few weeks having to post on regular football forums and read the complete nonsense spewed by cultural marxists.

My condolences to the poster who lost his father on Super Bowl Sunday.

I appreciate the thanks and how much everyone missed the site. I'm very happy the forum was saved. Maybe the term "Caste Football Withdrawal Syndrome" will make its way into the urban dictionary eventually.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your father, WA33, it's very hard to lose a parent. I had to put an elderly cat down two weeks ago and I've done a lot of grieving since, so you have my sympathies on your much bigger loss.

Seattle Fan asked about the homepage -- I'm glad it was preserved also. In the long run there remains the issue of lack of new material making it stale. We'll see if any articles are written for it in the coming days.

WIR asked about the cost of this, and I don't know yet as I haven't received any estimate or bill. There was about $1,000 contributed before the site was taken down, and Rebaljo kicked in $200 afterwards, so there's currently $1,200 in the Paypal account give or take a few dollars.

Thanks! I woke up the Sunday morning of the Superbowl to receive a call from the police that he passed. Unfortunately, he was an alcoholic and refuses to stop.

My thoughts and prayers also go out to the loss of a loved one. I've lost many family & friends near and dear to my heart. Whethers it's from drugs, alcohol or just natural causee, it doens't make it any easier. Wish the best to you and your family.

The immense profundity of Caste Football couldn’t have been any more perceptible than throughout the depressing duration of its prolonged absence. I’m sure we all ventured out to find alternative internet sites in which to express our inimitable views, only to discover that the mantra Don has uttered time and time again (“CF is the only one of its kindâ€￾) is a cruelly accurate description. I’ve been visiting this site for 10 years now (dating back to when I was an 18 year old college freshman) and CF has enhanced my life in a myriad of ways. It’s so great to be back amongst like-minded friends and I appreciate having a medium in which to articulate my beliefs. In Don We Trust!

My favorite moment since the site went down...
