An unscientific poll currently running on the Pittsburgh Tribune's website asks: "Do you think the Steelers players are more concerned about themselves or the team?"

Currently the results are: "It's all about the individuals" 82%; "The team comes first" 7%; "I'm not sure" 11%.

That was the time of the Hogs too and the origin of those drag queens the Hogettes (I can understand the pig noses but I'd like to know what the meaning of the drag was in that context).

John

LOL! Never trust a “man” in a damn dress. ;-)

Hi, I state 2 things: I use Google translate, you forgive the incorrect form politely. congratulations for the forum. I wanted to ask you if there is a movement of opinion that proposes to the cities without football to create a self-managed league. a league with the cities (or citizens) that own the franchises. Like the Green Bay Packers. thank you.

There is a plan to start an alternative league to the NFL. It is supposed to begin in 2020. It's to be called the XFL. It's supposed to start with 10 teams but what cities they will be in is unknown to the public.

I don't know of any proposed league in which the fans would own the teams. It sounds like a good idea though.

I follow the xfl page, in the xfl all the franchises are by Vince and the transfer of the teams is unbearable for me.

I think Vince will learn from the mistakes he made last time. Remember, Vince is a savvy businessman, and the time to create another league is right now.

Yes, it is a good time to start another league. Lots of people are sick of the anti-American and anti-white nature of the NFL.

A league that shows respect to America and gives white players a fair chance has an excellent chance to succeed!

And of course they both just happen to be black. Effortless black superiority in everything in what is supposed to be the most "diverse" country in the world.

I am surprised that the Yahoo comments section is filled with mockery and funny gifs. Some are hilarious. Could some Dwfs be waking up? Normies waking up, coming out of the Leftist fog coma? Visit the comments section for a good laugh. One is even of a literal train wreck. :)

EVERY single comment is detrimental to the article! I especially guffawed when seeing comments about this phenomenon spreading to Green Bay. They would appropriately be called the PACKERS!

I didn't see it discussed much on the site but it has been a big item on talk radio: the NFL making it a penalty to duck your head down and initiate contact. It's a ridiculous rule, for example how will a QB ever run a "sneak" play, or any player going into the line to try and plow for a gain? But like so many other examples of the league making rules that are subject to the discretion of referee's this one has the possibility of throwing games into chaos.

Personally I think the NFL should equip players with the same equipment used in the NHL for between period entertainment contests.

They say race is a social construct, well it seems the NFL is a social construct, and not a healthy one at that.

The Packers and the Ravens both already have male cheerleaders, although in the Packers' case they're using college cheerleaders rather than having an official squad of their own. I'd actually rather have these Rams male cheerleaders be black, as it'll be dindus making fools of themselves rather than White men.

Just another attempt by the usual suspects to attack normal masculinity and normal femininity. Unsurprisingly, people aren't buying. People want normal. Just like the Winter Olympics, where despite all attempts by the media to promote men's figure skating and women's hockey, people still preferred to watch men's hockey and women's figure skating.

I hate to listen to black athletes try and talk, it's real obvious if not for sports they'd be working at Burger King or Target. Do any of them ever read a book?

I remember the old SWC/SEC before black players, far less penalties and a better game.

Nice try at imitating what you think posters here are like.

Avante may be the reincarnation of a previous troll, but I always like to give the benefit of the doubt. Besides, look how his reparte has livened up the forum during a typically slow time of the year! Who knows, he might be who he says he is, but with a different take. Heck, my first couple of posts were squashed way back in the day, just because I was naive.

It's humorous to read that article, ranking the networks based on how "juicy" the matchups look in April with the start of the season nearly five months away. The NFL features more unpredictability than any other pro sports league; who knows how many of the matchups that look so enticing now will actually turn out that way. About the only thing we know about the NFL with reliability is that the New England Patriots will field one of the top teams. Well, that and the fact that not a single other team will "copy" their successful formula on offense in an alleged "copycat league" other than maybe Minnesota to a degree.

This thread seems like the best place for this. (Of course, there had to be one token White in the clip so it wouldn't be rayciss):

The Redskins' alleged 50 year home sellout streak ended with a bang yesterday, as the announced crowd of 57,013 was about 25,000 short of capacity. To miss selling out by that large an amount makes me wonder if the sellout streak wasn't propped up in recent years by giveaways, corporate buyouts, inflating the announced attendance and other tricks of the trade used by the NFL, NBA and MLB.

Hmmmm. Interesting. For some reason it reminds me of a certain demographic that cries out in pain as he strikes you. :)

On another note, I have been watching games occasionally with the sound muted and attention on the "defenses". As pointed out many times these secondaries and LBs have to be the worst of all time. They don't even want to tackle at all. It's beyond awful.
