This past weekend, my family and I were walking our dog about a mile from my house and immediately noticed that one of the homes was flying a gigantic Rebel flag (affixed to the rain gutter system of his garage) that was a least 15-ft X 15-ft. We’ve walked/driven past the house for years and the flag was never present prior to the Ziomedia-contrived “controversy.â€￾ He was mowing a large field as we walked past and we smiled and waved at each other.

I’ve been noticing far more flags on car, houses, and clothing than ever before in my community and surrounding areas. Aside from a handful of spineless celebrities from the south that’ve capitulated, the whole situation seems to have really back-fired in the face of The System.

I am hoping that as white people continue to realize they are being under attack and marginalized in society be it due to the confederate flag, immigration, political correctness insanity or the false narrative of black victims/white predators it begins to bring white people back together after being fractured apart for the past 50 years. The Marxists are really beginning to bend that final straw - throwing the bogus social constructs of white privilege and white guilt on a whole race of innocent people who's ancestors are the reason this contry is in existence. At some point the scale will tip.

There's been alotta folks here in NW GA flying the battle flag on the back of their trucks. On July 4th, we saw a whole "convoy" of battle flag adorned vehicles in Rome. :)

Also, many vehicles have front plates with the "former" (real) Georgia state flag (including the battle flag). My eldest son has been alternating (flying) various CSA flags during the week. There's a few other homes around here that fly that glorious "southern cross". :)

Phall, thanks for posting that picture. It is always nice to see my (screen) namesake being flown by a crowd of unapologetic folks! It is also encouraging to see people rallying to the cause of one of my beloved flags! This fight over Confederate flags isn't a new one at all. It began as The War was ending, and although the arguments over removing it have evolved, the fight is ongoing and will continue into the foreseeable future. I won't fly the 50 star Amerika 2.0 banner because it doesn't represent who I am. As for the second CS naval jack, aka battle flag/Southern Cross, I'll keep it flying!

Reading the comments on this article suggest there might be something fishy about this man's death. We'll have to wait and see. I'll watch for updates.

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

An Oxford, Mississippi, man died in a car crash Sunday while on his way back from a Confederate Flag rally in Alabama.

Anthony Hervey, 49, has been well-known in Oxford for several decades.

He died when his 2005 Ford Explorer flipped over near the Pontotoc County line just before noon Sunday.

The Clarion-Ledger reports Hervey and his passenger were on the way home from a Confederate Flag rally. Hervey's passenger survived the crash.

Hervey is the author of "Why I wave the Confederate Flag: Written by a Black Man."

Why I Wave the Confederate Flag, Written by a Black Man: The End of ******ism and the Welfare State
– June 30, 2006 Paperback $21.71
by Anthony Hervey (Author)

Congress shall make no law respecting and establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom if speech, or of the press;or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

This book is about truth and passion.

What makes this book dangerous is its raw honesty. Mr. Hervey lifts the veil of Black decadence at the same time he exposes the lies and political correctness of modern day America. Mr. Hervey said "I show that the Civil War was not fought over slavery and that the demise of my race in America is not of the White man, but rather of our own making. In this book I show how Blacks in America ran away from physical bondage to one far worse-- mental bondage."

A percentage of the proceeds of the sale of this book will aid Mr. Hervey in his legal defense for his false imprisonment and a percentage will be donated to the preservation of Southern Heritage. A financial contribution will be given to the victims of Katrina both Black and White.

Dang that news stinks, Quiet Speed. I met and talked to Hervey a couple of times about 15 years ago, and he's definitely made enough enemies (of all colors and tribes) for someone to have taken him out. He wasn't right on about everything and was eccentric in some ways, but he had his head screwed on straight when it came to the South, the battle flag and several other matters that I heard him speak on. He marched alongside roads throughout Mississippi with the 1896 state flag and (with his younger brother) was very vocal about their support for it (and the battle flag) during the Mississippi state flag fight of '99-'01. In many ways, Hervey was a younger Mississippi version of H.K. Edgerton. He'll be missed.

There's a huge group of disaffected Americans out there. But no one wants to represent them, at least none who are part of the system. There are groups that do, such as the American Freedom Union and the American Eagle Party, but they lack the resources to reach them.

The Confederate flag has the potential to become the symbol of widespread resistance, not just in the South but nationwide, but merely waving it doesn't matter if there's no actual power and representation to back it up.

Like the "real" USA (v 1.0) flag (Betsy Ross' masterpiece), the CSA battle flag truly symbolizes a stand against tyranny & for freedom and liberty. ALL those who believe in these principles should not only fly the "southern cross", but stand & fight for all it (really) represents!

Get a load of this headline. Someone died from apparently being chased and intimated by angry black boys and we get a most casual headline.

Black backer of Confederate flag was anomaly in Mississippi

That's one of the facts that the cultural Marxists try to "hide" & discredit the most...the history of black men who fought for/with the CSA. Brave, loyal men like Holt Collier...who was 10x the (real) man than contemporary, modernist, shiftless, lazy coloreds.

Hi, folks -- I'm back. Great to see some good old ANU forum regulars active here.

How long have you been in N Ga, Colonel? Guessing you got a job there after BYU. Congratulations on escaping the MS Delta!

Hello Nelson. This is Dixie Destroyer (also from N.GA), not Col.Reb. ;-)

However, our pal Col.Reb is doing well & staying busy. He & Mrs.Reb are expecting their 2nd child here real soon. He's a southern gentleman & good feller indeed! :)

This past weekend I was in North Central Wisconsin visiting family and while on the trip saw a huge Confederate Flag flying proudly at a home right next to a rural country highway. Not going to lie I smiled at these folks defiance of Political correctness.Should have snapped a picture.

Nelson, it is good to see you posting again! I hope you are well these days. Yes, the wife and I moved to GA over 5 years ago for my job. Having two children (had another healthy son a couple of weeks ago!) now makes me wish we lived a little closer to family, but my wife and I are a good team and with God's help are doing pretty well here. The Delta is getting worse all the time and I'm glad I'm gone, as there is no future there. Deus Vult and Dixie, I appreciate your (too) kind sentiments. :)

Amazing show of balls in this pussified country. I think this is partly due to the success of Donald Trump and his anti-PC rhetoric. It's rubbing off on people.

Staunton-River-High-School-Confederate-flag-rally-facebook-640x480.jpg

A Bedford County, Virginia, high school sparked a student rally in support of the Confederate flag after administrators enforced a ban of the historic banner.

After school administrators at Staunton River High School in Montea, Virginia, enforced its policy, telling students that the Confederate flag was banned from vehicles in the school’s parking lot, a group of students said they organized to sponsor a parade of cars festooned with the rebel flag to express their First Amendment rights.

According to WDBJ, CBS Channel 7, students Chas Goodson and Zachary Barton were told to leave their flags at home but felt the school was attempting to shut down their Constitutional right to free expression.

“We’re doing all of this to stand up for our First Amendment rights,” Goodson told the media.

The pair of students said they outfitted their vehicles with the Confederate symbol in memory of recently-passed country music legend Merle Haggard but were confronted by school administrators over the flags.

The pair also noted their ancestors served in the civil war and the flag was a nod to their ancestry.

“We are very proud of our heritage and we want to be able to show it,” Barton told Channel 7. “We were given our First Amendment right for a reason and we want to be able to use it.”

School administrations hastened to claim they have no intention of stomping on anyone’s First Amendment rights but feel it necessary to “limit distractions” for the students.

“We have to limit any and all things that we determine are a distraction to the school day,” Bedford County Public Schools spokesman Ryan Edward said on Friday.

Edwards further noted that large banners and flags had already been banned on vehicles in the school parking lot, even if they are large U.S. flags.

But the students who organized the parade of autos said their response isn’t over. Students and parents also went to the campus and marched with their flags too, some representing a group called “Battle Flag Rally for Freedom.”

“It’s not about hate. It’s about the heritage,” said Jason Wright, a Staunton River High student. “When schools try to take away our American flags and stuff and tell us we can’t fly them at school, that’s not right.”

The students say they intend to rally again sometime next week.

The “Battle Flag Rally for Freedom” group has a Facebook page where they describe themselves as a peaceful group.

“We promote peaceful rallies for the support of Confederate and American values. We support the Constitution of the Confederacy & the U.S.A. no hate,” the Facebook page says.

The group has held rallies in many cities in the south, including Vicksburg, Mississippi, and Salem, Virginia, among other places.

Flint, I'm happy to see this, but it is nothing new. It has been going on as long as Southern symbols/heritage and/or the 1st Amendment have been under attack. BTW, the Titan truck is flying the same flags (two crosses) on the back as I have on my house since last spring, except for when I put up Christmas lights. I've been displaying some type of Confederate flag everywhere I have lived since 1999, when the flag fight started in Mississippi.
