"certain sports have become de facto “safe spaces” for Black attainment"

Ex-act-ly, glad to see more on the right take CF-esque viewpoints on sports and race instead of HBD viewpoints/the party line. I wonder if the writer is aware of the manipulation that is common as well.

He's very aware of it.

Excellent article. I will be sharing to the Gab page.

Thats a great article. Allan Wells seemed to be an amazing sprinter that was my first time hearing about him. Just like Christophe Lemaitre I never heard about Allan Wells until this site.

"Jim Pursell, his coach at University High School in West Los Angeles, taught Patton to explode out of the blocks, drive hard for 50 yards, then float at top speed. As Patton remembered it, “You just settle down and go along for the ride.”

Love this quote on how to sprint for 100yards or 100m....

The University of Oklahoma shows the school record as being 10.04 by John Garrison in 1976.
Garrison was a very good white sprinter. But I suspect this 10.04 to be hand-timed or not fully automatic timed.
Trying to find more information about it.

I could see this time being an any condition time. Back in 76' a FAT 10.04 would have been the sea level world record or close to it, so I can't see that time being a legal wind time.

An update to the All-time white American 100m.
Cole Beck moved up to =3rd.

There's a good chance that Zachary Jewel makes this list as soon as tomorrow.

With the right conditions I see Jackson Webb moving up to to top 8 at the minimum. He is a senior so let's do this! :)

Zachary Jewell just entered the Top 10, pushing out Jackson Webb.
The nice thing is that several guys on the list are currently competing - Quinn, Boling, Beck, Jewell, and Webb

1/ John Teeters 10.00
2/ Devin Quinn 10.01
3/ Matthew Boling 10.11

I'm bumping this thread for an update when jacknyc has time! :) By the way Jewell ran 10.15 already 2 weeks ago. To top that Zach Jewell ran a wind legal 10.09 today! Yes sir!!

Just wanted to comment how ****** ridiculous it is that Cole Beck can blaze a 10.11 100 meter, and still not be good enough to receive any sort of playing time for Virginia Tech! Up there as an All Time Caste Snub!

Glad he had track to fall back on..

I classify both of them as white. Some may disagree but if you ask a person from Iran what they are they will say they are white. I've heard the
same about people from the middle east. I think the term middle eastern is used to reduce our numbers. Only God knows for sure but I root for
both of these sprinters regardless. Gemeli is such a humble and polite guy in interviews. Haven't heard Taftian speak in any interviews but I would
guess he is similar. For the haters it's probably better that you left them off the list. Some people will do anything to discredit whites. They always say
they must have some percentage of the darker mixed in there because they can't run that fast. Complete lies. Some guys run fast and some don't. It's
called being born with incredible genetics to start and then working over decades to reach your full potential.

For sure, some even a lot we could say, from Iran are definitely white and some are definitely not. Yes, there are those that always want to discredit whites but there seem to be those that are desperate to include non-whites as white when they are clearly not.

Hassan is definitely NOT WHITE...while some from Iran certainly are but we don’t need a DNA test to see Hassan isn’t white.

Do you mean Kent McCloughan who played CB for the Raiders?

I am sure it must be Kent McCloughan.
I first heard about him when I read Gale Sayers' book, I Am Third.
He and Kent were the best high school football players in Nebraska at that time, and also competed against each other in track at the State Championships.
At least, that's how I remember it.
Kent went on to play cornerback for the Oakland Raiders.

I found this about Kent:

*Kent McCloughan-Broken Bow (competed 1958-1961) - Without a doubt, one of Nebraska’s greatest athlete/sprinters ever. His 220 yard dash time of :21.4 in 1961 held up as a state record for an incredible 51 years before Kenzo Cotton finally eclipsed it in 2012. McCloughan’s Class B State Meet record still stands today. Kent’s personal best of :09.6 over a hundred yards still also ranks as one of the all-time bests in Nebraska prep track circles.

McCloughan was an All-Nebraska football player twice, an All-Big Eight defensive back for the Huskers in 1964, and was twice named All-Pro defensive back for the Oakland Raiders.

Kent McCloughan retired in 2012 after 39 years with the Oakland Raiders organization, serving in the scouting and player developement department.

(“Did You Know” department-Kent McCloughan’s father Ralph McCloughan of Mason City, Ne., won the 100 Yard Dash at the 1934 State Track Meet with a time of :09.9. Bloodlines? Oh yeah)

A good video with most of Allan Wells best races. What a career he had for not becoming a sprinter until he was 24 years of age!
