Wasn't sure where to put this but overrated and not very talented Antonio smith who has managed to carve out a 12 year career in the NFL while only managing to get 44 1/2 sacks even though he has been a starter most of his career. He is being investigated for sexual assault of a child:

I wonder how that panty waste Goodell is going to handle this one.

Sumo rt Anthony Davis retires or at least quits for a year. This also helps our cause because not all white players will have the borland early retirement used as an obstacle during the draft process. Willis and davis retirements should help combat the misconception that only white players are injury prone. It also helps because
the 49ers continue to fall apart at the seams.

Evan Mathis was just released by the Eagles today. The Dolphins would be smart to sign this guy post haste!! They can not, and I repeat CAN NOT go into the season with sumo Dallas Thomas starting at guard as he is downright terrible. For Ryan Tannehill's sake, get r done!

Which just goes to show you how talent evaluation in the NFL is a complete farce! The Dolphins picked him in the 3rd round, and even that was too high for him. I cringe whenever he is on the field. He has very poor leverage, not very good balance, extremely slow feet and very susceptible to bull rush attacks. Just a big lump of marshmallows like Jonathan Martin (another Jeff Ireland pick)

Even the Miami DWF's know that Thomas sucks and are pushing for the team to sign Mathis. Of course, when Thomas was drafted, these same DWF's were all commenting at what a steal he was to be drafted in the 3rd round when he could have been taken in the 1st. I knew right away that he couldn't play at the next level and I was proven right. Just another wasted draft pick.

The rumor here that's been going around Dolphinland is that Ryan Tannehill has been lobbying for the front office to sign Evan Mathis and actually went to the front office personally to request that they sign him. Even Tannehill knows he will be toast if the Dolphins decide to go with an all sumo O-line this year so it's in his best interest to make sure Mathis comes here.

This should be a warning sign to Black O and D line prospects but I figure this will be like the warnings on cigarette packs, even though another under 40 former sumo died today. In fact from some of the file photos he looked more fit than the usual sumo lineman that this thread is about. Anyway RIP......http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl...ies-from-heart-attack/ar-AAccN5j?ocid=DELLDHP

Colts cut overrated sumo Godser cherilus who underperformed ever since coming into the league as a 1st round pick.

If I recall correctly Cherilus was given a huge contract. Now they wasted all that money.

The Colts could have signed a better player, Eric Winston, at a cheaper price. Winston is white and is undervalued because of it.

Former 1st round pick Chris Williams was cut by the Bills - sounds like Incognito will be taking his spot. Williams was a borderline bust/mediocre player that was initially hyped up as a franchise left tackle until he got exposed and was shuffled all along the offensive line.

Pussy goober Johnathan Martin has retired and incognito is still in the league - gotta love that.

saints release Broderick Bunkley who was part of a terrible saints defense after they overpaid for him to be part of their coal defense.

Former New England Patriot, and 40th overall pick, Ron Brace, passed away 2 months ago at 29 and 4 months of age. From reports, it seems like he might of been a (legit) good guy in his community in Massachusetts, but couldn't overcome his struggles.

Phil Loadholt, of Minnesota, announced his retirement yesterday.

Vikings' Phil Loadholt: Plans to retire
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Loadholt has decided to retire after a recent injury setback, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Loadholt missed the 2015 season with a torn Achilles, but participated in spring practices and worked as the starting right tackle. Andre Smith will likely take over as the starting right tackle with Loadholt retiring.

Their schedule is a little more difficult this year.. I hope Bridgewater gets crushed!

Former Carolina Panther - Amini Silatolu - whose been perma-injured outside of his rookie season (having received significant adoration then), is trying to make the Chicago Bears right now. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/playerpage/1788850/amini-silatolu

Broncos placed DT Phil Taylor (knee) on injured reserve.

They also signed DT Billy Winn. A former first-round pick who spent last season out of football, Taylor was trying to jumpstart his career in Denver only to suffer yet another knee injury. Knee woes threaten to end Taylor's career.

Lions third-round pick Graham Glasgow got the start at left guard Week 7.

Glasgow took over for 2015 first-rounder Laken Tomlinson, who was terrible as a rookie and has not been much better this season. Glasgow played well in the start, and he should keep the job for the foreseeable future. Tomlinson will need an injury to get off the bench.

Nice to see Glasgow seize this opportunity.

I'm really hoping the Dolphins draft some white linemen this year. Guys like Garrett Bolles, Forrest Lamp, Tyler Orlovsky, and Ethan Pocic would look good in aqua. I would especially like to see Pocic as Pouncey's eventual replacement. Not only can Pouncey not stay healthy, but he's a locker room cancer to boot. Time to purge all of the Philbin-era sumos.

Not that it will amount to anything but a lot of mocks have Lamp going to the Phins in the first. That would be a great pick. Drafting Lamp in the 1st and Eflein in the 3rd/4th would be a great draft for Miami and Tannehill.

That would be the smart thing to do. No more Dallas Thomas's, Billy Turner's, or Jamil Douglas's. Time to get start and stop screwing around with the O-Line. I like Anthony Steen and Kraig Urbik but we need some insurance as we have no depth behind those guys.

Cortez Kennedy died today, he's another sumo that couldn't make it to 50. He obviously wasn't a bust and was a hall of fame player. What is scary he didn't look like he was one foot in the grave and the other foot dangling on the edge of the grave. I have a theory that Blacks can't handle excessive weight like Whites can as tons of these guys from busts to Kennedy haven't made it out of their 40's.
