The outcome of the fight is of no surprise. Sergei looked his usual self. He was mobile, tactical, elusive, and his punches detonate when he makes a direct hit. For his battle record he has earned the badge of best light heavy fighting today. Vyacheslav was simply out-maneuvered by Sergei's skill and out-gunned by Sergei's power.
To my eyes Sergei is undefeated in boxing. His two "losses" were contrivances given to A Ward who never truly earned them. The first of Sergei's infamous losses was by Vegas judge; the second by Vegas referee. Vegas is synonymous with subversion and corruption -that is the purpose for which Vegas exists. The re-match should have been in Russia. Sergei can thank that weakling Kathy Duva for not getting that clause into their first fight contract with A Ward. Does not matter now though, A Ward was pounded into retirement by Sergei anyway.
Good to see Sergei has discharged John David Jackson as his trainer. Sergei said he didn't learn much from him all the while they were in contract. Now when the cameras are on his corner between rounds the sound of Russian voices is all that is heard.
