Let's be honest, who else but an athletic QB could survive behind that O line? That stand tall in the pocket wouldn't work.

Wilson's first six seasons about as good as it gets to be honest about it. NFL records, SB win, NFL firsts. And he's not yet 30....I think.

I do think Seattle is lucky to have him. I think it's safe to say he's the best QB they have had.

I can't ignore how things really are.

Tom Brady is a better quarterback than Russell Wilson ever was or will be. Wilson will never accomplish what Brady has.

We already have a thread with Wilson's name in it, and it's a fine discussion: http://www.castefootball.us/index.php?threads/russell-wilson-and-alex-smith.16374/

The mulatto Wilson is a good QB, but not in, say, Brady's or Rodgers' class. His O-line was just fine in their Super Bowl runs, along with his half-the-field rollout playcalling. As to him being the best Seattle QB ever, I'd have to take Jim Zorn myself.

From what I've seen of Wilson he's a solid quarterback, and dangerous when the game is on the line.

Seattle's GOAT? In the discussion, but who cares.

He's a one trick pony - rolls out to the left anytime the pocket collapses. He's a solid QB but he isn't elite. It's also obvious that he needs a running game to assist him. He can't do what Manning/Brady have done over the years with average RBs.

Genetics wise Wilson is a Mulatto, as for his abilities he is poor man's Brees but is on the fringes of the elite of the NFL qb's. It's strange as Plantation Pete has only wanted extremely poor man's version of Wilson in his quarterback room. Yet in USC he only used a traditional pocket passer who had prototypical size.

I saw some NFL gossip today about Colin Kaepernick getting a try out with the Seahawks if Russel Wilson really does leave. Colin would be a perfect fit in Seattle. They wouldn't win any games with him, but he could spit on the flag before the game and bring a lot of members of ANTIFA into the stadium to cheer for him. Of course the downside would be that when the Hawks lost, the ANTIFA people would see it as a symbol of white oppression and start wrecking stuff in the stadium.

LOl make it happen. Also saw rumors of swapping Dak for Russell. Doubt anything major happens.

I am always amazed how the Toucan always seems to come up. He was a garbage QB after the league figured him out. I will have a good laugh if Wilson does actually end up on the Bears which the current rumor.

Wilson is off of Pete’s plantation. The Blackos just traded for him.

Pretty humorous “drama” surrounding Wilson. My guess is Payton isn’t going to revitalize Wilson and the truth is the physical ability is slipping away. Wilson had delusions of playing into his 40s but I wouldn’t be surprised if the Broncos draft a guy in the mid rounds like O’Connell or Haener that fit more closely in what Payton wants in a qb. Wilson was certainly exposed this past season in Denver.

Payton has to have provisions that if he doesn't revive Wilson(an extreme long shot) he will be allowed to supervise a rebuild As we stated before he will be paid a king's ransom for his efforts...
