Giants HC Brian Daboll said OT Evan Neal (ankle) is “not ready” to return to the field.
Neal is entering his third year in the league and has yet to live up to the potential that made him the No. 7 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. Presumably still rehabbing from an ankle injury that required surgery back in January, Neal was believed to be ready to return close to camp. Instead, he was placed on the PUP list at the start of training camp, and little has been said of when he may return to the field. When he does return, it’s possible Neal will be without a starting job after it was reported earlier that Jermaine Elumenor would man the right tackle spot while Greg Van Roten slots in at right guard.

A great example of just how weak the black talent pool has become. I looked at some highlights of this guy last year after he was drafted and remember thinking, what's the big deal? Why the hell was he drafted seventh overall? The same can be said of many other players who end up on this thread.

As another of the endless examples that can be given, I looked at the highlights of WR N'Keal Harry after the Patriots took him in the first round five years ago, and saw nothing that indicated first round talent. Slow, occasionally won a jump ball because he couldn't get open but was tall. Many consider Bill Belichick the greatest coach ever but when it came to judging talent, especially at wide receiver, he was plain awful. Every or almost every WR he took in the early rounds busted.

Literally comes down to dat upside for the coaches and front office. They routinely get fooled by underwear Olympics lol.

Remember when BB selected WR Taylor Price from Ohio early?! He was notoriously bad at WRs when drafting. Giving Matt Millen a run for his $$. Brady and the UDFA\FA acquisition of pale faced WRs made that Dynasty tick.

The NFL draft typically sees around 30-40 DBs drafted a year it seems. It's one of the big reasons as to why the 20% caste ceiling is never broken. The constant onslaught of mediocre, non-descript black DBs - here's a fine example two teams that wasted a 2nd and 3rd round pick and are swapping the mistakes. No mention will be made of this, none of the weenie draft "experts" will be held accountable.

You really are correct in the use of non-descript. It is the position that is most nameless / faceless. I would wager if you ask the average “big football fan” they couldn’t name 15 CBs in the NFL and would struggle to hit 10. Beyond the elite 5 or 6 guys, it’s really a who’s who of mediocrity or worse.

Austin also had 190 punt returns for 1,483 yards and three touchdowns." Looks like decent numbers for a 6th round draft pick! Oh, right, that's what the Cowboys traded for him, he was a 1st rounder!

Pitiful career stats from this endlessly hyped bust with alleged "generational upside" who was suspended four times by the league.

KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson reports LB Randy Gregory is expected to retire after being released by the Buccaneers.
Gregory was a no-show at Bucs training camp after signing a one-year contract with the team earlier this offseason. The former No. 60 overall pick from the 2015 NFL Draft is expected to call it a career after seven NFL seasons in which he totaled 117 tackles and 22 sacks while forcing 10 fumbles. The Buccaneers released Gregory without pay and could look to add another pass rusher in the coming days.

What a bum and career criminal deadbeat. Just shows the values of the NFL that they gave him so many chances. We all get this, but it’s crazy the DWFs support this nonsense.

Desmond Ridder couldn't even make the Cardinals as a backup. Ridder, Willis, Lance, all very recent huge QB busts.

This might be good news for Britain Covey as Campbell the second round bust was supposedly the leading contender to be the Eagles' third receiver. Of course they just traded for Jahan Dotson, another receiver with upside that has yet to materialize:

According to Jeff McLane, the Eagles are releasing WR Parris Campbell. Campbell, 27, was drafted by the Colts in the second round out of Ohio State during the 2019 NFL Draft. He played out of the final year of his four-year rookie deal worth $4.7 million with $2.7 million guaranteed.

If anyone else comes across any 1st/2nd/3rd round bust that gets cut feel free to put it in this thread. It's a great way to keep tabs on the hundreds of busts the NFL produces and is helpful in proving our argument that the NFL is virulently anti-White and places a premium on melanin when trying to bring players into the league.
