In 2011, I was fined $80 for transporting firewood logs in my trailer that were supposedly sticking out 8†past the legal limit (of 2’) without having an orange flag attached. No matter what I said, the cop wouldn’t let me off with a warning.
In 2012, I was fined $180 dollars for driving a car that didn’t have a functioning driver’s side door or window. I told the cop the truth…that I’d hit a deer several weeks prior to being pulled over. Since the door didn’t seal correctly, I was simply covering the area with a tarp whenever rain was expected. It was summer, so I didn’t need a window. Anyway, the cop not only gave me the hefty fine, but also forced me to fix the damage within 10 days. So I purchased a different door/window at a junkyard and straightened the crooked door jamb with hammering and torches in my garage. Then, I had to drive across the county to the police station to “prove†to him that I actually fixed it.
About two weeks ago, at the beginning of May, I was pulled over by a female cop and fined $175 for having a “low beam†that had burned out and for having registration that had expired two days prior (I renewed it online the next morning). She kept saying that my “entire headlight†was burned out…so I tried to explain to her how a “2 phase†headlight bulb works (I would still have high beams), but she wasn’t having it. I’m contesting this ticket.
While I was being fined around $450 dollars for these extremely minor infractions, hundreds of thousands of non-whites were taking resident in PA illegally, raping, murdering, stealing, dealing drugs, mugging, abusing welfare and other handout programs, etc, etc.
