**I only really tried to stick with players that have a reasonable chance to be signed. Hence, I did not bother to list guys like Travis LaBoy, Matt Roth and Matt McCoy, who I don't think even played last season.

**By the way, I didn't bother to check the list of FA cornerbacks, as my guess is there are no whites.

Damn - Hillis, Woodhead, Leonard and Hester are all FAs. Hester proved his worth and gained Manning's trust - he should end up back in Denver. Hillis has all the talent but it seems like everyone in the league questions him ever since he put up his huge season. Leonard has carved out a niche role as a third down specialist. Woodhead should get resigned by the Pats but would not be surprised if he ends up elsewhere due to McWigger's love of his black RBs that have shown the propensity to fumble.

The Nashville Tennessean expects free agent Jared Cook to command $7-$8 million per season. That's a lot for a player who managed just 131 catches in four seasons for the Titans, but the league remains sky-high on his ability. Embarrassingly underutilized by his former employer, Cook has already been connected to the Rams and Bears. He's going to have a robust market.

Jared Cook is very overrated - Craig Stevens is a better overall TE than he is. The Titans also drafted uber-athletic DE turned TE Taylor Thompson last year so he should be getting more playing time this upcoming season. TE is probably the only bright spot for white players when it comes to skill position players in the NFL.

Yep, Cook's had plenty of opportunities. He reminds me a lot of Jermichael Finley, another tight end who is still often referred to as a star and a brilliant athlete despite being a perennial underperformer (and whining prima donna) on Green Bay's prolific offense.

I think Stevens could have a very nice year in 2013. He can be a big help to Jake Locker, similar to how Brandon Myers shocked the media and DWF Nation by being so effective for Carson Palmer and the Raiders last season while all the team's heralded "high upside" receivers pretty much sucked. Or Dennis Pitta, who stunned the same deadheads by being much better than the "athletic" Ed Dickson for the Ravens.

NFL.com is now ranking the free agents at each position. Someone named Marc Sessler did a decent job with the receivers, although I think Welker should be ranked higher, despite his age. White WR's come in at #4, 5, 6 and 9.

And is there any doubt that Austin Collie would rank in the top 10 had his career not been sent into a downward spiral (due to concussions) after some creepy-a$$ mulatto from the Eagles cheap-shoted him in the head after having an amazing start to the 2010 season?

Had Collie not been wracked by injuries, it's almost guaranteed that the only 3 white WR's drafted in 2009 would crack the Top 10, in their first year eligible as URA's (Hartline, Collie and Edelman).

The RB rankings look like a total joke. But this should come as no surprise, considering the rankings are being done by noted Caste-Zealot (ex-Rotoworld leader) Gregg Rosenthal. In his Kosher fantasy land, a totally washed-up Cedric Benson and absolute nobodies like LaRod Stephens-Howling and Rashad Jennings rank ahead of Peyton Hillis. Hillis, by the way, had more rushing yards in 2011, than Howlings and Jennings have had in their entire careers...and it's not like Peyton's old?

Dolphins re-sign WR Brian Hartline (5 years, $30.7M; $12.5M guaranteed): C- Grade
Jeff Ireland strikes again. This is a terrible contract for a player who scored only one touchdown all year. Brian Hartline was amazing in a 12-catch, 253-yard performance against Arizona, but he barely did anything after that. Hartline is just a mediocre No. 2 wideout, so this is just way too much money for him.

yet Laurent Robinson can put up less than 900 yards his 5th year in the league, never topping 500 before that and only one season over 400 and he got a similar contract, actually better with more guaranteed money. At least with Hartline you know you will get consistent production, Hartline has 40 more first downs in 4 years than Robinson in 6.

I am surprised Saturday kept playing this long, he wanted to retire when they still had Manning, and Manning didn't want him to go so he stayed from what i remember.

The Lions re-signed exclusive rights free agent Kris Durham. He's getting a cool $555,000 and has a good chance of making the team. He's buddies and former roommates with Matt Stafford and the Lions WR depth chart behind Calvin Johnson is less than impressive.

Durham is currently the 3rd receiver on Weenieworlds's depth chart. Burleson just restructured his contract and is set to be #2. He's 31 and has been extremely average since his only 1K season back in 2004. Titus Young was released. Ryan Broyles, who is talented, is injury prone and recovering from a torn ACL. Other receivers are Mike Thomas, Brian Robiskie and various other failures. The Lions will probably draft a receiver at some point but I like Durham's chances for playing time.

Tackle and Ron Paul supporter Tony Pashos, who was out of football last season, has signed with the Redskins.

Under appreciated safety Colt Anderson has resigned with Philly.

TE Phillip Supernaw, who spent last season on the practice squad, was signed by the Texans.

Nate Burleson is a slot receiver, he even said it himself, that he wanted to be the black Welker a few years back, hasn't come close though. He can handle the number 2 duties but is ideal for the slot. Ryan Broyles is also best suited for the slot, between the two of them you might have one complete season with a slot receiver.

Durham is strictly and outside receiver, he can play the slot but its not his strongest skill set, being 6'5. Lining him up opposite of Calvin Johnson would be the smartest decision, but I guess that just makes too much sense, doesn't it?

Notice how the two black Boise St receivers didn't amount to much after all the hype, and the one that actually had the talent to make an impact on Sundays never got a shot, Tyler Shoemaker

Harvin traded to the Seahawks and is supposedly going to get 12 mill a year, one season healthy out of 4, threw his qb under the bus even though he was on pace for his best season (before getting injured like usual) with Ponder under center, never broke 1k, although he came close. Injury prone headcases with mediocre production get big paydays. Unbelievable.

Ryan Swope would be a great fit for Houston as Walter's replacement. Being from Texas would generate more initial good will than is usually the case for White receivers.

The 13 whites include the following players: QB Ben Roethlisberger, QB John Parker Wilson, TE Heath Miller, TE David Paulson, TE Zack Pianalto, G David DeCastro, T Joe Long, G Joe Malecki, DE Brett Keisel, FS Ross Ventrone, and the K/P/LS.

Of these players, Long, Malecki, Pianalto, and Ventrone aren’t likely to make the team. Nevertheless, they’ve purged several black backup QB’s (Jerrod Johnson, Dennis Dixon, Charlie Batch, Byron Leftwich)in the past two seasons and are supposedly interested in a couple white free agents.

Just a quick bit of news on Peyton Hillis and Tim Tebow. Hillis is visting Green Bay at the moment. I think he would be a perfect fit as he has proven in Denver that he can play good in cold weather. The cheesedhead fans would love and worship him up there if he can return to form. Playing on a playoff team that can contend for a superbowl might be just what Hillis needs to return to form!

Tebow is being rumored as a possible trade and sign deal with the Buffalo Bills. They released Fitzpatrick so they currently do not have a starting quarterback. This would be a great fit and it would get him into a smaller market which could help his career. The guy just needs a fair chance to be the starter and let him grow with the ups and downs that all quarterbacks have to go through. I really hope this happens or that some other team gives him a chance that acutally needs a starting qb!

Having seen endless variations of it in the past, I thought at first the beginning of this article that advocates Woodhead be signed by the Texans was serious. No question but that there's a lot more awareness of the negative stereotyping of White football players than there used to be:

Danny Woodhead is a gritty, high motor guy who plays with a chip on his shoulder. He brings his lunch pail to work every day, and his deceptive speed and high football IQ could be a major spark plug for any offense, namely, the Houston Texans.
