The movie posters for Julius Caesar and Sir Lancelot should be to any rational person with an once of logic the most absurd photoshopped jokes available and would have been just a few years ago. I stopped watching TV (outside of sports) by the time the original "Buffy..." series was out, but they are "rebooting" it now with a black female lead and black female head writer and executive producer.
Midnight, Texas creator Monica Owusu-Breen has been tapped as writer, executive producer and showrunner of the new Buffy the Vampire Slayer, with the original series’ creator and showrunner Whedon set to executive produce alongside original series’ exec producers Gail Berman, Fran Kazui and Kaz Kazui as well as Joe Earley from Berman’s Jackal Group.
The new version, which will be pitched to streaming and cable networks this summer, will be contemporary, building on the mythology of the original. Per the producers: “Like our world, it will be richly diverse, and like the original, some aspects of the series could be seen as metaphors for issues facing us all today.”
According to sources, the diversity in the show’s description reflects the producers’ intention for the new slayer to be African American.
Whedon is Josh Whedon, a director of one of the Avengers movies and a staunch anti-Trump zealot. I'm sure the storylines will reflect that and probably cast "deplorables" accordingly.

Yep. His speed is no longer sneaky either.I don't know why but I like the idea of Beyounce as Wonderwoman. I think she's white enough for the role. She is attractive and seems to fit the personna. I haven't seen much of her except in Austin Powers where she was mainly eye candy which is all she will need to be to play Wonder woman.
Re: Green lantern, when I was a kid he was a nice white guy. Don't get why they turned him black although I heard he is now more athletic.

1) Moors were not Negroes.
2) Moors did not command Christian crusaders.
3) Moors had little or no involvement in the middle-east crusades, although English crusaders decades before the time line of the movie did fight them, in helping Portugal liberate itself from the Moorish occupation.
This movie is another example of what I posted some months back: Hollywood tends to portray the English as evil, which angers me because many of my ancestors were English. But again the movie got the history wrong - at that time, England was ruled by French Plantagenets, not Englishmen.

In today's PC SJW climate all White history and achievement has to be portrayed as evil or dastardly in order to make modern nonWhites feel less like losers for having obviously, objectively achieved GALAXIES LESS than the White race has accomplished.
Fact of the matter is, all races at one time or another tried to rule the world. It just so happens that the Whites were the best at it, honorable mention to Asians and second-tier Middle Eastern empires.
Now Whites are supposed to feel guilty for having clearly proven superior. The fact that the White race has demonstrated itself to be greater than others is not a hateful statement; it is a statement of fact. That does not mean that people of other races have not achieved great things in science and technology and whatnot. It's just that overall Whites have done more.
This fact does not sit well with Blacks who have shown throughout history to be bottom feeders as far as achievement.
