That's what I love about Caste Football....y'all notice the same things I do. When Nelson caught the pass and the camera immediately panned to Giordano, I thought S^it, Giordano got beat for the winning TD...then they showed the replay and he was no where near Nelson. I got so pissed and started telling my wife about how back-assward the coverage is...she gives me a blank look...and then I come on here and find your comment.
On another note, my all white "Fightin' Whities" fantasy team has 128 points and leads the league today. Its funny how the discrimination even fades over into FF....the first two weeks my all white teams have been "porjected" to get anywhere from 79 to 85 points. The first week I had 106 and today 128.......LMAO.....

In a strange way I think Ochostinko going to NE is the best thing that could have happened. With all the offensive weapons NE has, 85 is not going to be a star or have the ball force-fed to him in any way. What better way for the archetypal loud, brash, showboating black primadona WR to be effectively shut down. Just think, last year Ochostinko was still planning his choreographed touchdown celebrations, twittering during the game, and had a reality show. How many opportunities will he have to pull that off this season? People are still following his tweets, but I can't imagine it will be like that for long if he's averaging 1.5 receptions and 0 TDs per game.

Honestly, I think Woodhead's level of carries is going to change from week to week depending on the defense, game situation, etc. I predict he will have at least two 100-yard rushing games. Remember also today he had a 5th carry for the 2 point conversion. Doesn't go down on his career rushing stats, but does go on his career total points. Also remember the Pats drafted Shane Vereen and Stevan Ridley. Vereen had 0 carries and ridley had 2. Plus Woodhead always seems to be in on hurry-up offense, and he was in a lot on passing plays, split out wide. Despite his lack of carries, he seemed to be in a lot.

I'm glad to see 49ers and Raiders go down with close defeats, and if the Blackeneers had to win, glad its over the Vikings. Also good to see all these white wide receivers like Decker, Durham, Walters, Sanzenbacher getting involved. Who knows, maybe Tebow can join in the action as a wide receiver.

Newton being praised by dwfs on message boards for starting the season with 2 400 yard passing games, 0-2 start. 3 interceptions this time.
Hal Mumme offense hit the nail on the head, I haven't sat down and watched it but its probably exactly what they run. Auburn used Mumme's passing concepts when Newton was there, so Carolina probably uses the same concepts since he is working with such a short offseason, I doubt he could learn any new system.
Mumme was obsessed with how many yards his qb got, didn't always mean wins. There is a reason why he isn't coaching big time football right now. 46 attempts won't win you games. It doesn't make sense being that they have two pretty good backs and running this type of scheme.
Mark Ingram looking like a bust. He has the build of a fullback, but not the weight to be a lead blocker in the NFL. He is like 5'9 but his legs look thick like a lineman. He might be better if he figured out how to get his pads lower and break more tackles, but I don't think he will. I knew a back with a similar build and running style in high school, couldn't get yards without big holes, which the oline couldn't provide, just creases. They put him at fullback and he faded away. Ingram has had huge gaping holes to run through his entire career, in the NFL those turn into creases. The fans cheered when he rushed for a long of 12, finally converting a short yardage play. Its only the 2nd game (plus preseason carries) but with backs you usually have it right away or don't, at least for the type of runner he is, smaller scat backs might take some time adjusting but he isn't that. He has failed to average close to 4 ypc. Pierre Thomas looks much better in the same offense and he was an UDFA. Its not like they are running him out of the shotgun on draws, his runs are out of power formations, and teams can't stack the box because the Saints/Brees are known for throwing out of power formations.
Texans starting to look like the Broncos a while back with the ZBS and the plug and play with average guys getting 1k (the head coach was the offensive coordinator for the Broncos during those years). Too bad Toby didn't wind up there he could be putting up huge numbers and would probably last longer than the guys they have now. Foster averaged 3.3 ypc but Tate stepped right up and had 100+ 4.5 ypc and Toby has more talent than Tate. I wonder if Foster was a 1 year wonder, the same thing happened to Slaton.

I've noticed them doing this more frequently this year, for anything negative, a penalty and the cameras will show a White guy that wasn't even on the field for the play. Fans are usually drunk and don't notice and then angrily type on message boards "we need to get rid of (insert White player here)."
Expect plenty of hate for the Chiefs two white safties, Piscitelli and McGraw. With the Chiefs losing two 40 point blow outs the DWF fingers are going to point directly at the white guys.
I watched some of the Lions-Chiefs game, I only saw one pass go Jerheme Urban's way, it was up and behind him, an almost impossible catch, the QB, Cassell was livid that Urban missed it, he screamed and pouted and the camera caught it all, along with no defense from the announcers on how hard a catch it would have been. They overlook stone cold drops by black recievers but white ones have to stand on their heads to make a catch or it's all their fault.

White skill players are really out to a great start this year. Decker and Jordy are gonna be stars some day (soon, hopefully). Gerhart looks alot more explosive and comfortable this year than last. He needs to be utilized more.
No one mentioned yet that Marc Mariani had the first 2 catches of his career. They only went for 9 yards total but it's good to see him getting worked into the offense.
As for tonight's game, I really hope Vick losses in his return to Atlanta. The Falcons are a caste team since they do not use Kerry Meier, but they still are preferable in this one since the Eagles waste Riley Cooper's considerable talents.

Well, Mike Kafka's in for Philly right now, and is driving them down the field.
Man can you imagine what Hillis would look like if he got some of the blocks Turner is getting? that 61 yard run he barely had to move, it was just a straight line, a pulling guard and a gaping hole and nobody for a long time.
I must have missed something, I guess Vick got injured. Kafka is running the offense and there looks to be no decline in play which shows the ability of Vick compared to a rookie. They just got stopped on 3rd down but that wasn't Kafka's fault, he just ran the play as intended, the defense sniffed it out and tackled Maclin for no gain. Great, the next play, right on the money to Maclin for the 1st, drops it, in and out of the hands.

Instead of kneeling three times, they should've run up the middle three times. That would've taken extra seconds off the clock.

Well it's only two games into the season but for what it's worth Sean Lee leads the league in tackles and Pat Angerer is third. Wes Welker is third in receiving yards with 241.

Its good to see the Whiter Packers,Patriots and Texans off to unbeaten starts and the Cowboys,Bills and Titans beating Blacker teams.The Titans only have 6 White starters according to their depth chart but feature 9 White in the rotation with Ball and Klug being amongst their most productive D linemen despite being listed second string.

I watched the whole game. Newton can be pressured, but Green Bay's "strategy" of starting Ryan Pickett and (the grotesque) Raji is flawed. I don't care what kind of defense Green Bay runs, but they really need a lighter "La'Roi Glover-type" to slice through the middle and get in QBs faces.
Green Bay's "D" came out incredibly flat to start the game, and, later (like the 2nd half), they finally decided that putting pressure on Newton was a "good idea".. It worked, and "pick city" was the result. It not particularly hard to pressure Newton.. Alabama can rattle him in college, but "NFL teams" can't? Of course they can, but teams' are clearly going "softer" on him than they do with Vick! It would be interesting to know why this is...
The media will certainly use this game to build up Newton, because, in the media's eyes, Green Bay doesn't have much flaws. However, I have pointed out GBs weaknesses on a few occasions and have usually been correct (obviously, the MSM won't criticize "their boy Raji" or the correctly-hued GB secondary; Or Ryan Grant on offense). The interesting, and glaring thing about this game was how Aaron Rodgers' was getting rattled in the first half, while Newton went more-or-less unscaved! I do think that GBs d-line is rather pathetic (and is without Cullen Jenkins now), and Charles Johnson did play pretty well for Carolina, and, also, Carolina's secondary truly was crisp for much of the game. Carolina played hard, and there were even little guys getting knocked out from ramming into John Kuhn! If we are to take things at face value, Carolina brought a physical style-of-play that Green Bay wasn't expecting, and their cadre of "space eaters" got exposed. Jordan Gross leveled a few affletes, too.
This doesn't really address the issue of why Green Bay didn't send pressure earlier. With Hangartner starting over the injured-blob Bernadeau, I don't doubt that the o-line is better than it would have been otherwise. It is relevant that this isn't a "full sumo-line" right now.

As a rookie, remember that Matt Ryan was "on a leash?" If he wasn't, it's obvious that he would have thrown for way more yards! He was still being similarly "developed" in his 2nd season too.
This is why "fantasy players" have had a love/hate relationship with Matt Ryan (and Atlanta) over the years.
--However, the real story from yesterday is Drew Brees' triumph over a damn good Bears' d-line. I would like to see Newton go against the Bears.--

I noticed this last year during the Notre Dame and Miami game. ND tight end Tyler Eifert scored on a simple 9 yard td catch to the left side where he simply caught the ball at the 4 and ran it in past a black Miami linebacker and black safety. So the camera goes directly to Miami's inside lb Collin McCarthy who was about 30 feet from the play. Its so deliberate what these broadcast controlers are doing.
