Gerhart has been hit in the backfield at least 4 times now. Broncos D gives up its second huge third down. So much for all that talk about them.

Newton is playing in a completely different NFL than Manning faced as a rookie. Rules changes have been significant in the last few years to "enhance" the passing offense. Any NFL teams that shifts its game away from a balanced approach will be rewarded by big passing yardage (though not necessarily wins, as evidenced by Carolina itself).

What a game between the Vikings and the Broncos. I'm really enjoying it. Toby Gerhart is having a very good game despite the lack of blocking. He has around 40 yards so far and that is incredible considering how the offensive line couldn't stop a pop warner team.

Don't worry about Tebow. He will turn it on soon.

Throw The Hock a bone! The Hock didn't roll out of the bed till he saw 11:07 (for good luck)on the clock. Staight to the TV and Broncos-Vikings just in time to see Toby's sixteen yard run and then Rudolph's great catch for a TD!

Hell yeah!

Tebow's teammates and coach have really let him down today.

It won't be reported that way, though.

Right now the Falcons defense is holding Arian Foster, and Ben Tate to under 3.0 YPC.
Anyone think they will be declared to be incompetent by weenieworld?

The Broncos play calling is atrocious. Run up the gut, run up the gut, pass on third and long. Over and over and over again.

John Fox is either a moron or he is purposely trying to lose. I have watched every Tebow game since hes been starting and its the same every single game. The only time the Broncos move the ball is towards the end of the fourth quarter when Tebow starts playing out of shotgun running an offense suited to him. Which he has proven works every single game. Yet they refuse to do it nearly the entirety of each game.

Wonder if the announcers had anything else to add after Toby got a 16 yrd run.I've been watching the Houston game but keeping up with Min. & NE stats.TJ Yates looks good for Houston so far,to bad Cushing went down.

Exactly what has Raheem Abdullah Rasheed Bin Morris done to earn/keep a job as a head coach in the NFL?

Gerhart is having a OK game so far. I have seen him hit in the backfield probably 3-5 times. He has also avoided 2 hits in the back field. Getting back to the line of scrimmage. Whats the matter with the Vikings sumos?? Dont want to block for Whitey?

Welker with 6 catches for 77 yards at halftime. The Colts’ all-black secondary needs their annual scorching at the hands of “The Patriot Missile.” He needs a big second half.

Welker now abusing the Colts for 10 catches for 111 yards, Gronkowski with another touchdown.

That has got to be the wrong call and the second real noticeable bad replay against Tebow - the first being a few weeks ago on Decker being wrongly ruled as not getting both feet down in the end zone.

Tebow was clearly contacted by Jared Allen and the ball clearly contacted the ground while in possession. He's down IMO. Anybody else got research on that?

Already starting out the second half with a catch, can't wait to see a bomb or breakaway run from him.

Brian Billick, who was a caste clown supreme as a coach, has only said very positive things about Toby (so far), which I find a bit surprising. When Toby's been stopped for losses, he's claimed it's because Denver D is stacking the line to bliz Ponder and stop the run; when Toby has gotten bigger gains he says the Vikings need to "run the powerfull Toby downhill" more often.

Billick went to Stanford, so perhaps it's a reason he roots for him? Lucky for Gerhart, he doesn't play Billick, because the "Stanford angle" would not likely help him much -- just look up Justin Armour and how bad Billlick screwed him when it seemed like he had re-jump started his career in Baltimore.

When YOU hit the ground, the ball can pop out safely. When nothing but the ball hits, he's not down.
