Yeah, Watt’s early years when he lined up alongside Jared Crick, Shaun Cody, Connor Barkin, Brooks Reed, Brian Cushing and a couple white backup linebackers was awesome... and coincidentally their best years as a Defense.

Still hard to believe how quickly Crick was forced out of the league. He was a steady player; had some good potential.

I watched the Nascar truck race instead I just didn't feel the squeeze was worth muting the POZ or switching the channels during the numerous sermons and or commercials.

Of course, I didn't watch the dumb game but I heard they pulled some sort of stunt before the game and the announcer, CC said some malarkey. Just remember, the lines are drawn and pick your side. There'll be no, "I'm not involved" once all this gets going. If your alive, you're involved. I know everyone reading my words will be on the side of our race.

I must be in the distinct minority here. Like most everyone here I don't bother with pre games or halftimes. Just switch it on during kick off. I pay no attention to the other stuff. I am able to watch the game and completely ignore all the periphery BLM ( which like everyone else here I feel is completely bogus) political stuff. I guess I am lucky in a sense. I don't like all those new dizzy cameras they are using in sports these days but I watch a game like I usually do.

There is also a disconnect. The black people I bump into in my town go out of their way to say hi to me and everything seems normal. You wouldn't know there is some "race war" going on. It seems like it always does. But according to CNN every town is like Portland.

Maybe my attitude is part of the problem? But I have enough crap ( believe me) to worry about in life so as an escape valve I still like to watch my sports.

Well somebody has to watch the game, might as well be you Shadow since you have a greater understanding and interest in the small details. I myself really don't get into football till the weather turns, and if I were the tyrant America deserves football would not start till October, late September for HS and CFB. Besides I depend on the diehards to actually go out and find the highlights of players I have an interest in and then link to them since I am too lazy to do so myself. Do I really need to spend 3+ hours being POZed to watch C-Mac bust out one minute's worth of highlights?

I went to bed before the game ended but see Watson got his inflated stats.

From a few of the posts I’ve seen - 2 mahomes ints negated by penalty and Watson’s td pass occurred on an uncalled offensive penalty.

Watson got his garbage time stats, but so do all other QBs in garbage time. I'm rooting for the ultra-black Texans to finish third or fourth in their division behind the Colts and Titans. (The Jags are a near-universal choice to be the league's worst team or close to it.)

A decent portion of the crowd booed the "coming together" of the two teams after the national anthem(s). The Texans stayed in their locker room for both the "black national anthem" and the real one. The Chiefs were on the sideline for both, arms locked but only one player kneeling. I'm hoping that with BLM becoming more disliked by the day that the propaganda will be toned down after Week 1, but the NFL and its fawning media of course have always been a key asset in pushing far-left cultural and racial narratives.

BTW, Jacksonville will be the only other city besides Kansas City to allow fans in the stands Week One. Arrowhead Stadium was only allowed to be 22% full last night (not 20%, not 25%, not 50 or 75 percent, but 22%; you can bet there was all kinds of "science" behind coming up with that number).

My first post but a long time reader. I won't be watching any of these clowns, ever. They now remind of the Camp Fire Girls...

Can't imagine Jim Taylor ever locking arms and singing songs.

Mike Evans has a hamstring issue and is questionable to play Sunday after not practicing yet this week. If he's out, Justin Watson and Scotty Miller should be Tom Brady's second and third receivers in the game against the Saints, with Watson starting outside in Evans' place.

I’m sure they consulted with Black Science Man (hallowed be thy name) and Bill Nye to come up with it. After all, those are the most well known and respected “scientists” in Amerika.

For me, this is the game of the week! New Orleans also has enough talent to make both teams compelling. Of course, I’ll be pulling for TB with Brady, Gronk, Scotty, Watson and Brate.

I didn't watch either. I will not watch another NFL game.
Did anyone report that that opening night viewership was a 10 year low. Great!

Andy Isabella will be returning punts and kickoffs for the Cardinals on Sunday. He's locked down the number four WR spot; Hakeem Butler, who was heralded by some as a potential Calvin Johnson clone and was drafted in the fourth round last year, was waived which further solidifies Isabella's position. Arizona in theory at least will have four receivers on the field for many plays so Isabella has a chance to make his mark this season and then hopefully a lot more next year if Larry Fitzgerald retires. TE Dan Arnold is another one to watch as he's gotten a surprising amount of positive press for the past six weeks and might become an important part of the passing game, which is an extreme rarity for a Cardinals tight end.

I hate how almost everyone of our guys has to go through the undeserved racial apprenticship. Isabella is one of the nfl's fastest players so let's let him not show his wheels by hiding his strategically. Even the return duties while better than nothing are
just such a small part of the game. The kid can make plays all over the field with his elite athletecism if he was just a starter like he should be. Always excuses to not play whitey despite their immense talent.

I am excited and nervous at the same time when it comes to Miller, Watson and Isabella. Now they have a chance to strut their stuff and hopefully start on their way to long successful careers. But I also worry if they don't play well the axe might start showing up sooner than later. Coaches generally lose patience with young white receivers faster than cheetahs.

Fox must have a woody knowing the whole world will be watching Brady and the boys at 4:20 EST Sunday. I will be that's for damn sure.

I also anticipate WR Gunner of the Patriots seeing the field. And I get the Eagles/Redskins game so will be keeping a close eye on S Troy Apke the lightning bolt.

Did anyone report that that opening night viewership was a 10 year low. Great!

The full fan impact of this "social" stuff is going to be hard to discern for a couple of reasons. All sports are experiencing lower ratings and some of that is attributed to BLM but sports seasons are playing off schedule now too and that contributes to the ratings. Now we are dealing with a crowded sports landscape where everything is crammed together.

It was interesting though that were some boos at the KC game where some fans were allowed in.

But this BLM sports move isn't an off the cuff thing. It was more carefully thought out than it looks. Like kids acting up when the substitute teacher fills in they knew damn well they could get away with their shenanigans without having to deal with fans in the seats. Additionally they knew that they had the media in their back pocket and they would lather on drooling worship and praise every step of the way. Which is exactly how this played out.

I also feel the sporting crowds in each sport would have reacted differently. Does anyone think the mainly liberal crowd at the tennis US Open in NYC would have a problem with BLM stuff? And NBA crowds wouldn't be too hot and bothered.

But NFL fans? I think there would be a major blowback. And empty seats. We saw it during the kneeling incidents a while back but this new and improved version is all that on steroids. And if you also factor in more spasms of violence ( possible but not certain) in the streets the all powerful NFL would be shaking in their boots once fans are allowed back in because it would expose the fan blowback in living color.

The Only Black Lives Matter Football League (OBLMFL)

by Thomas DiLorenzo

Formerly the “NFL.” I watched the first few minutes of the first pro football game of the year last night between the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans just to see how much of a “We Hate America — and Especially White Americans” spectacle it would be. It greatly exceeded my expectations.

The end zone, sidelines, and some of the players’ helmets had “End Racism” logos. Translation: We hate white people, because only white people can be racists according to OBLM. There were other silly political slogans on the helmets as well.

It started out with something very few Americans have ever heard of: the “Black National Anthem.” This was the OBLMFL’s way of saying, “Black peope are not a part of America, and don’t want to be part of America.” They want to be citizens of “Black America” ruled by the self-described “trained Marxists” who founded Only Black Lives Matter. I suppose “Blackistan” would be a good name for such a place.

Two young black women sang (from a remote location) an excruciatingly long and boring rendition of the real national anthem after that. One wore a t-shirt with a huge picture of the man who poisoned himself to death with extreme overdoses of fentanyl and meth, after which the media blamed his death on the police — George Floyd. The purpose of this was to announce for the ten millionth time the OBLMFL’s official position that American police officers are all racists who hunt down black people to murder.

The other young girl wore a t-shirt with the poor black woman who was killed by police during a “no knock” raid, meant to send the same message about American police officers. Scores more white people are killed by police in no knock raids by police, but that of course is not a fact that anyone needs to know. Senator Rand Paul has introduced legislation to put an end to such “raids,” for which he was attacked recently by an Only Black Lives Matter mob in D.C.

The Houston Texans boycotted both anthems by staying in the locker room, sending the message that the official position of the team is “We Hate America and Americans, and F**K You if You Don’t Like It.” It was not an anti-government or anti-flag protest but the above PC declaration. When they finally hobbled onto the field it sounded like every single member of the 17,000 person crowd was booing them. No one who witnessed this thought that the booing was just because they were the opposing team.

All the players from both teams held hands and linked arms before the kickoff just in case any TV viewers happened to have gone to the fridge for a beer during the previous We Hate America — and Especially White Americans spectacles.

At that point I had to go downstairs for a podcast interview about my new book, The Problem With Lincoln. After that the game was still on the TV upstairs and Kansas City had just scored a touchdown. Before going to a commercial they displayed two black dudes dirty dancing, Soul Train style, in the end zone. Who knew there were so many gay guys in pro football?

In summary, what I witnessed was essentially a Biden campaign rally paid for by the owners of the pro football teams. There are reports today that the television viewing ratings for the game were the lowest in ten years.

Gunner Olszewski is out of tomorrows game with a foot injury and the Patriots don’t have a kicker on the roster... this will be interesting for them.

They have two on the practice squad they will promote one. Because of the weird season veterans can be stashed on Practice squad so Nick Folk is on their practice squad(for now).

I guess the Patriots 5th round pick kicker Justin Rohrwasser didn't make the team. I think he's on the practice squad though.

Between the kneeling and sCam taking over in New England, I can't find any interest in watching this year. Unless he goes down and the Pats are forced to roll with Stidham, I'm out..
