Mike Evans has a hamstring issue and is questionable to play Sunday after not practicing yet this week. If he's out, Justin Watson and Scotty Miller should be Tom Brady's second and third receivers in the game against the Saints, with Watson starting outside in Evans' place.

Good news, still be rooting for my Patriots but hoping Tampa do well plenty of our guys to cheer on.

It's good to see Watson and Miller getting chances early! Watsons got the height and speed to be great!

Between the kneeling and sCam taking over in New England, I can't find any interest in watching this year. Unless he goes down and the Pats are forced to roll with Stidham, I'm out..
Newton only knows one way to play. He'll be hurt pretty soon. Probably by game 2-3. Then Stidham will get his shot.

Cotrell promoted from the PS

That is good news! He will revert back to the PS after the game. Rookie TE Tyler Davis isn't so lucky. He is out due to a knee injury. I may have this wrong (?) but I believe this means they can only yank Cottrell off the PS one more time this season. Unless they make him a full time roster player? Gee would they dare? Hell I would. They might put in a few offensive plays for him to take advantage of his blazing speed? He isn't just a special teams player. He knows how to block too because at GT he had to do a lot of it because of the option. And he can catch passes out of the backfield too. Why play yo-yo with him? Place him on the roster and be done with it already. Ha.

I guess the Patriots 5th round pick kicker Justin Rohrwasser didn't make the team.

I don't understand this. Not a big fan of drafting kickers to begin with but if you must make damn sure he is top flight. BB the genius drafts a kicker and then relegates him to the PS? Talk about having an efficient draft? Why not draft a relative?

BB is a smart guy and one of the best coaches around for sure. But really folks. How many Super Bowls does BB win without Tom Brady? I'm going for zero. At least they will both be motivated to out do each other this year. Ha.

Wow I just saw this, this is a big moment for Cottrell who was given a whopping 2 carries in his senior season. I hope he gets to play and make some plays so they won’t take him off the active roster. I’m excited for him, I hope he sticks around in the NFL. His comparison to me would be Danny Woodhead/Austin Ekeler, small speedy backs who are factors in the passing game. He can return kicks/punts too!

Patriots Dolphins on the TV in the UK today, hoping Parriots win on the back of Rex and Jules not overrated Cam Newton but I know for most on here the Pat's are no longer a favourite anymore. Be interesting to see how many of our guys are starters and who the team to follow will be!

Pat's defense with Simon and Winovich on the edge could be good to watch!

If it makes you feel any better woody39 I still like the Patriots. I am bummed out about Gunner being out though. He was injured last year too. Not a good omen. While I doubt it there is a sliver of a chance they call up WR Mason Kinsey from the practice squad which could be announced as late as kick off.

I love trying to watch football and getting lectured every 30 seconds about racism. You can add a key word that is implicit in all the slogans: End Racism, Whitey; Black Lives Matter, Whitey; Stop Hate, Whitey; Say Her Name, Whitey...

Cottrell seems to be active, as is Laird but not Chad Beebe

All Bear running backs are active.
Not sure how banged up Montgomery is and if Nall gets carries.
I’m guessing he’ll get 10 carries....

The latest reports are that David Montgomery will carry his normal share of the Bears' running load, so if that's the case Nall will be lucky to get any touches. . .

You are a “glass half full” kind of guy for sure. The only way I see ten carries is if the Bears are down 30 some points for the camera to zoom in on Nall for the DWF’s. Rodent Nagy would most likely convert an upsider WR in the event that Montgomery and Cohen cant go. If by some miracle Nagy has a stroke and some rouge assistant coach steps up giving Nall a chance the DWF’s will love him. I hope he still maintained his conditioning and confidence during these trying times of getting screwed over.

Kinsey might be promoted week 2 give him a week in the system in gunner is going to be out for a while. Hopefully Gunner is activated in 3 weeks he by all accounts was the second best reciever in camp and I think BB rates him highly.

49ers should be good to watch this year with garoppolo, trent Taylor at WR, the excellent Kittle and TE and juszczyk at FB hes as good at the position as there is and he is involved quite a bit on offense. Not to mention possibly the best defensive lineman Joey Bosa lighting up the sack stats! Could be my second team this year!

Only way I see Nall getting carries is if all the Affletes before him get hurt ala Peyton Hillis. I'd be happy to be wrong.

Chase Young with an offside penalty to give the Eagles a 1st down. No sign of Holcombe or Ioannidis for the Redskins
