NFL Playoffs Divisional Week

Here's a fresh thread to post in regards to the NFL playoffs now that we are past the wild-card weekend and the cellar to which that thread devolved.

This weeks matchups:

New Orleans at San Francisco

Denver at New England

Houston at Baltimore

New Jersey Giants vs. Green Boy Packers (sic)

NOLA at SF is largely unattractive from a caste perspective, unless the 49rs use their newly-signed white WR's, but both QB's are outstanding, but for different reasons.

Denver-New England has been discussed at length, I prefer the Patriots because of the plethora of white talent on the offensive side of the ball, and even more if Edelman is in at CB, but wouldn't mind a Denver win if Tebow is the sole orchestrator.

Houston at Baltimore is a no-brainer, unless you want to see "wrinkle-faced-bat Suggs" as Thrashen's avatar for another week.

Lastly, the Pack and Gints should be entertaining from a caste perspective. It helps to see Blackburn anchoring the D for NY, but I would prefer a monster game from Jordy and a Pack win.

The first curveball of this postseason will be on Saturday when Denver defeats New England. With around 6-games remaining in the season, New England had the EASIEST schedule in the NFL. So, yeah, New England built a big record, but it's almost meaningless. They've forgotten how to win playoff games, and Brady is FINISHED when it counts most!

After these events unfold, I'll just make sure to never touch anyone's "Tebow time" action-figures.. don't know what's on it.

i really want the best case scenario Super Bowl. Pats-Packers, with whites heavily starring, TDs by Nelson, Gronk, Woodhead. Texans i wouldn't mind seeing either, it's fun watching that Defense!

Packers vs. Patriots/Packers vs. Texans are the best options for me. As long as the Packers, Patriots or the Texans are in the SB I will watch it from start to finish. If none of those teams are in the SB, I might not watch at all...or just catch a few minutes here and there. I did not watch a minute of the NFC wildcard playoff games last weekend and I do NOT intend to watch a minute of S.F./ New Orleans on Saturday. Just don't give two $hits about a pair of almost coal-black teams, even if Smith and Brees are white. There are supposedly 6 million Jewish Americans, they can all tune into that game and throw huge parties, knowing their "special friends" will account for about 90% of the players on the field that day.

As far as the Broncos, enjoy watching Tebow and his 3 white interior linemen on Saturday. In reality, the Broncos are more Caste than all the NFC teams with Decker injured/phased out of the offense....No wonder Chris Berman, Steve Levy and Linda Cohn types are suddenly getting giddy over Tebow's Broncos, knowing they could be a modern day version of Jimmy Johnson's Cowboys -- a team that likely changed the leagues demographics (making it much more black). Yep, the Marxist girls over at BSPN have found a special athlete in Timmy -- one so popular, that even whites that supposedy have "racial pride" are rooting for his Grambling Broncos to win it all.

Perhaps seeing Kordell and Stephen A. Smiff say they were wrong about Tebow is that important that I should root for a team similar to the Steelers, also? Just a reminder on the Broncos rosters, excluding the QB's and the special teams guys, it consists of just 7 whites guys. Only 12 total on the team and, perhaps, only 4 or 5 will even step on the field this weekend.


P.S: I've said I don't follow the draft or college football much. With that, I have to admit a few days ago I messed up counting the Broncos whites. I had assumed FB Austin Sylvester was black due to his NBA-like name. He's white. I still would not expect much from him going foward as he only gained 24 total yards from scrimmage in his four years and 37 games at Washington. All were receiving yards as a senior. Looks like the beefed up goy-boy with a black sounding name knows his place in the world -- as a blocking dummy for the "real athletes". I think he'll fit in perfectly on Horseface Elway's Colorado-based plantation.

Joe Flacco is the only QB to reach the playoffs in each of his first four years. He's 44-20 as a starter and 4-3 in the playoffs -- yet comes under constant withering criticism as a loser and choker. I'll be rooting big-time for the Texans but if they lose to the Ravens I'll be glad for Joe.

Can the inconsistent Ravens go through both Patriots and Texans? I also have confidence Packers can beat either 49ers or Saints at home. This is shaping up to be a good Superbowl for white fans.

New Orleans @ San Francisco; 4:30 p.m. ET
San Francisco will see the weekend's most tranquil and comfortable weather for football. Temperatures are expected to be slightly above average, near 60 degrees at kickoff.
Candlestick Park, home to the 49ers, is historically known for its raw, windy conditions (and recently power outages). That will not be the case for Saturday's game due to high pressure centered over the western part of the nation.
Although New Orleans plays their home games in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, the mild temperatures and dry weather shouldn't adversely affect their play.

Denver @ New England; 8:00 p.m.
This game will feature arguably the harshest weather conditions. An arctic blast (LINK!) that pushed into the region Friday will linger for Saturday night.
Temperatures will be in the 20s at the start of the game so tailgaters will want to dress warmly! Gusty winds will make it feel like the single digits.
The wind could have an impact on the kicking game for both teams. Bronco's kicker Matt Prater is used to kicking in the thin air of Denver. New England's kicker Stephen Gostkowski was solid during the regular season, converting 85 percent of his field goals.

Houston @ Baltimore; 1:00 p.m.
A typical winter day is in store for Baltimore on Sunday. Temperatures will be near freezing and sky conditions will be partly cloudy. Dress warmly if you are attending the game.
This outdoor match-up in chilly weather could favor the Ravens who play most of their games outdoors. Houston, on the other hand, plays in the relatively mild climate of coastal Texas with a retractable roof stadium.

New York Giants @ Green Bay; 4:30 p.m.
Four years ago, these two teams played in subzero-degree weather to decide the NFC champion. The Giants won and advanced to the Super Bowl and eventually beat the Patriots, ending their undefeated season.
While this year's game between the NFC rivals will not be a bitterly cold as 2008, temperatures are expected to be in the 20s for the game.
The near-normal temperatures should make for a great playoff atmosphere.

Your prediction that New England will lose to Denver is certainly understandable (many ESPN analysts have been alluding to such an outcome this week), as they haven’t won a playoff game since the 2007 AFC Championship game, a 21-12 win against the Chargers. In 2008, with Brady on IR, the club went 11-5 under Matt Cassell, but missed the playoffs. In 2009, they were 10-6 upon Brady’s return, and were beaten soundly at home by Baltimore in the Wildcard (Welker did not play due to torn knee ligaments). In 2010, of course, they were 14-2, losing at home in the Divisional round to the Jets in a game in which the score (28-21) wasn’t really as close as it appeared.

With around 6-games remaining in the season, New England had the EASIEST schedule in the NFL. So, yeah, New England built a big record, but it's almost meaningless.

At least they didn't falter against all those “easy teams.” After getting drubbing by the Steelers (in Pittsburg) and then losing a last-second game against the Giants in consecutive weeks, the Patriots finished the season with 8 straight wins against the Jets, Chiefs, Eagles, Colts, Redskins, Broncos, Dolphins, and Bills. While these victories are certainly nothing remarkable (one playoff team), New England doesn’t “select” the teams they play. A similar argument could be made about the 2[SUP]nd [/SUP]seed Ravens, who were fortunate enough to play the Browns twice, the Colts, and they even lost to Seattle and San Diego. They did win a yawn-fest over the 49ers during that time, though.

You’re right, Deadlift, Brady has lost 3 straight playoff games. But so what? Aside from the Baltimore game in 2009, it’s not as if Brady has been dreadful, or even mistake-prone, in his playoff loses. His entire defense and his offensive line are the units that might be “FINISHED when it counts most.” Matt Light (ankle) and Logan Mankins (knee) are both expected to start, with Sebastian Vollmer (back, foot) finally returning to his “tackle rotation” with rookie Nate Solder.

Despite New England's dearth of playoff success, I'll hope for best tomorrow night...and I'll be sure to remember your prediction.

Last year in the playoff game Brady botched that game so bad it gave me nightmares, or he is on such a tight leash that he has to try and force the ball downfield no matter what. Danny as the outlet was wide open underneath the coverage all game, and how do I know that because darn near every pass play was shown from behind Brady and there was Danny wide open.

I think the Pats will win it big, assuming the weather is decent. Denver's defense is banged up, worn down, and they are down to Thomas, Royal, and Willis for WR's. The Pats will double-team Thomas all day, so I don't expect very many big plays from him. Royal and Willis aren't really big play receivers and their TE's are ineffective. The Pats will play to stop the run and force Tebow to beat them with his arm.

The Pats have had a chance to rest and heal up, so they should be energized. They've had an intense week of practice and the players are focused. They've been constantly reminded by the media and fans that they choked under pressure last year with their quick exit from the playoffs. It won't happen again this time around. 48-10, Pats.

I've noticed the same thing. Danny will release and turn around, with seemingly no one around him (from what I can see on TV) and Brady will ignore him most times. Seems Brady doesn't like passing to Danny, for whatever reason. I had thought Danny had establlished himself, but it looks like they're pushing him out back out toward the margin. Hopefully ol' Bellimachiavellichek is just playing head games with Danny to keep him on edge. Looks like Danny will always be fighting for a roster spot. I would really love to see Danny pop a long one or two just to show the bastards.

This is the year of emergence of three freakishly great white athletes: Tim Tebow, Jordy Nelson, and Gronkowski and they are all in the final 8 along with an all-white caste of play-off qbs. It should be fun especially when you consider the dismal start we had this season at caste football.

According to weenieworld (aka Rotoworld), he was cut. That said, there transaction notes are often very unreliable, as they make a ton of mistakes re-posting old trasactions -- i.e. they posted Brian Leonard was placed on IR before the playoffs. Obviously it was an error, as he led the team with 70 yards and just 9 touches last week @ Houston.

Even if this is an error, Sylvester wont do a thing on any modern NFL team -- let alone a total caste team like Denver. He had just 24 career total yards in 37 college games. He's probably not even in the same universe (talent wise) as Eckel, who probably had an amazing college career, had awesome pre-draft workouts and could've possibly been an Alstott type if given the chance to run. Perhaps that a good thing for Sylvesters wallet? As Don and others have noted here many times, NFL teams love to screw the real talented white RB's and WR's and let the occasional "harmless" special teams mascot/blocking dummy stick around for a while.

As far as "Sylvester" being Italian, it might be true in some cases, but I would bet those names were altered or Americanized. Perhaps from Silvestri (Patriots DE) to Sylvester? No way Sylvester is a real Italian name, it's too anglo (English), which is way so many blacks have had this surname since the 1800's.

As I promised I will not watch this game at all (too few white players), so all I know is what's been posted in this thread....Don't get too hot for the 49ers caste defense, as we all know New Orleans' offense wilts when they are way from their ugly Dome. They lost to a sucky Seahawks team last winter on the road in round one in similar conditions. If they win this game, imagine how'll they'll fare if they get G.B. in 10-20 degree weather?
