The name is German now that doesn't mean his father is a full blooded German as some Germans have been in North American since the Revolutionary War.

Some people on here have suggested his dad could be a Jew but similar to Mark Wiseman if he was partially part of the tribe it would be known to the general public as he would have quasi minority status similar Edelman who is barely Jewish but acts like he is a zealot who would join the IDF if he was drafted by Israel.

If the family does have some non-European DNA, it looks like it could be American Indian.(feather, not dot)
 
Cody has a natural tan like a lot of Whites, but his being the first White RB to lead the SEC in rushing in half a century was mentioned in some articles, including quotes from Cody and others. I've been getting a feed on Cody for the past two years and I've never seen him mentioned as anything but White when his background was brought up. I get where the questions come from, hell even Babe Ruth was regarded as questionable by some, but Cody's treatment by the NFL since his great final season at Missouri is pretty strong evidence that he's an overachiever.

At the very least Oullette is playing great in the CFL and has become very popular. Perhaps he knew he wasn’t going to get a fair shake in the NFL. It has to be supremely frustrating for our guys to be in camp and outperform worse blacks and still get cut.

Or rush for over 90 yards against GB and then barely see the field again (Zenner) or lead the entire preseason in rushing (Nall) or be the perfect modern-day third down back and not even get an opportunity to showcase (Borghi).

He is 100% white. Not every white person is very pale.
 
Maybe his dad is in a mixed race marriage, White man x Sicilian woman. Light hearted jab at some of them Eyetalians, so no one get their man panties in a bunch.

Well said. That is what's so frustrating about the Caste System. Zenner and Nall did everything they possibly could to prove they deserved to be on an NFL roster as a top 2 or 3 running back. Didn't matter. Borghi had the perfect size, speed and hands while playing at a major college program. Didn't matter. Its incredible that Skattebo was able to break through all these barricades so easily....
 
Cody is white, his dad is white, his mom is white. I have a friend who is from Quebec who has the dark skin just like Cody and my friend is definitely a honky.
