49ers receivers continue to fall with injury problems, which continues to pave the way for Trent Taylor to have a breakthrough season:

George Kittle is one of the most exciting San Francisco 49ers players to watch on Sundays ... or Mondays, Thursdays, or whatever day he steps onto the football field. He's one of the more entertaining players in the league. While fans are eager to see The People's Tight End hauling in passes and punishing defenders with his impressive blocking skills, the NFL star can't wait to see another player back on the field.

Kittle spoke with 49ers.com reporter Keiana Martin on Monday and was asked to identify the one teammate he is most excited to see this season.

"Trent Taylor," Kittle responded without hesitation. "Are you kidding me? This dude is so good. So good. Just let him get on the field, and he's just going to -- I'm so excited about Trent Taylor. You guys have no idea."

Taylor missed last season after suffering a setback while recovering from offseason foot surgery. That came after a 2018 season that was hindered by an offseason back injury.

Taylor's best season came during his rookie year in 2017 when the receiver racked up 43 catches for 430 yards and two touchdowns.

"I've been working out with this guy for two offseasons," Kittle continued. "He hasn't gotten to play. Now, he's back. He's healthy. He's fast. He's quick. He can catch every single ball. It's going to be so much fun."

I did not post this to get the usual outrage and despair crap that conservatives dwell on to no good. I'll keep it short, just ask them if their politics influences their opinions and judgements as related to our issues. In short I do not want to have that "discussion" with the people who hate us I want to discredit and disqualify them and then disenfranchise them from our lives.

FYI the local HS football proceeds with a few people in attendance so good for the kids and that IMO is the most important issue. They also get a lesson that our ruling elite in America 2.0 is corrupt passive aggressive scum all predicted results from a feminized society.

Anyway at least for this Friday the kids can play, since the county commission of Sadistic sexually frustrated Karens meets today and will be coming up with new, new "you people are worthless scum who we need to 'help'" rules on how to deal with the cold/flu pandemic.

The pro sports leagues have all lost their minds. Suspending mulitple games over a guy that was resisting arrest. They are walking on thin ice. Americans will go with their lifes in other ways if the NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB don't wake up.

Another fine example of the caste system in a nutshell. This one couldn't be more blatantly obvious. Ryan Nall was undrafted out of Oregon St. the year before Pierce. They both put up almost equal stats - Nall had 28 total TDs to Pierce's 17 TDs. Nall is a big, strong runner who is a menace in the open field at the 2nd and third level - he's also about 30 lbs heavier than Pierce. Weenieworld doesn't even mention Nall in this little piece of "analysis".

Bears RB Artavis Pierce could be an early-down option if the team is without RB David Montgomery to open the regular season.
The Chicago Tribune's Brad Biggs called Pierce "the most traditional running back" on a Montgomery-less Bears roster, as Tarik Cohen is a pass catching specialist and Cordarrelle Patterson is a converted receiver who doesn't run between the tackles. Pierce is an undrafted rookie out of Oregon State, where he averaged six yards per carry last year on 146 attempts. An NFL scout told Biggs that Pierce “might really fit what they are doing there because when you look at the Oregon State system, they were heavy inside zone, a little outside zone, but they were a zone-based run game." Still, Pierce won't be draftable outside the deepest fantasy leagues.

Some good news out of Cleveland. Harrison Bryan seems to be performing well and may be competing for 2nd string reps with the overrated upsider Njoku (part of the most athletic TE class ever! You know the one where Kittle and Tyler Higbee have emerged as the best TEs from the class).

Isn't Weenieworld a dumping ground website for not too bright Jewish kids with mental and emotional disabilities? Nagy and the Bears make the Packers and Gutenkist and Rogers look good, quite the trick I'd say.

The local HS game went off though I hear it was the expected blowout, the other school probably needs to drop football or go to 8 man since they don't even dress 22 players. FTR the youth football games are going on today so just wait for breathless coverage from the idiots in the media about an Extinction Level Event centered about young kids. And the local Democratic party crime org just issued more idiocy, or as I told the wife another racket in which to sell indulgences to local schools and towns for "waivers."

From the Bucs' first intra-squad scrimmage:

Shadows split the field in half as the sun continued to rise, and the humidity became a story line during the first series of the intrasquad scrimmage, a 16-play, 98-yard drive for a touchdown that Brady executed flawlessly. . . Unofficially, Brady went 13 of 18 passing for 170 yards, including a 1-yard touchdown pass to tight end Cameron Brate. . . Brady’s favorite receiver was Scotty Miller, who caught four passes for 84 yards, including a 45-yarder. “He’s another great, consistent, dependable, trustworthy player,” Brady said of Miller. “Whatever we talk about, he takes it to the next practice and his play is showing everybody that he’s earned a big role. You can trust where he’s going to be, he makes the plays when they come his way. He’s really been fun to work with and fun to see grow from the minute I got here.”

Adam Thielen should have a career year in 2020. With Stefon Diggs now on Buffalo, he's the uncontested number one passing target. The Vikings drafted WR Justin Jefferson in the first round but he's yet to show much in training camp. At this point it's Thielen and a bunch of unprovens and scrubs. He may surpass Jordy's best single season numbers if he stays healthy all season.

Thielen had three receptions for 67 yards in Friday's dress rehearsal scrimmage at U.S. Bank Stadium, Will Ragatz of Sports Illustrated reports. Thielen has looked in top form in training camp and was the best player on the field during the scrimmage, the St. Paul Pioneer Press adds.

Two good reasons among others that you won't see me bailing out of the NFL and saying no more. As long as there are lights out there turning away is akin to throwing out the baby with the bath water. I understand everyone has different level of tolerance but for me I don't want to miss out on superstars like CM, Joey Bosa and plenty of other White players worth cheering on.

I would love to see the Brady to Miller connection become an "item" this season.

I'm kind of excited to see how Tampa Bay does this year. Why? Because I think Brady will lead them to the playoffs. That would add to the already abundant proof that Brady is the GOAT. It will stick in the craw of the anti-whites that the greatest quarterback of all time is a white man. No black quarterback will ever challenge his accomplishments.

I also want to see the connection between Brady and Cameron Brate, Justin Watson and Scotty Miller. And if Brady likes Miller I'm guessing Miller will make the team.

It reminds me of Peyton Manning when he went from Indy to Denver. Tom Brady like Manning will make everyone better. His understanding of the game is unmatched. He also loves to compete and will get in guys faces if they don't give 100% all the time. I agree that Tampa Bay will be fun to watch. I'm looking forward to it. On a side note I'm sure Brady, his wife and kids will love living in a mansion on the beach!

I prefer not to start new threads unless it is absolutely necessary. I was on the fence as to whether a new thread was needed for 53 man roster talk? But I'll get the ball rolling here.

Hard to believe but I think September 5th (this Saturday) is when the 53 man rosters are announced. I'll start this and I am guessing some members will join in and speculate on certain teams. I want all the teams covered before and then after the 53 man rosters are set. So if others don't fill in I hope to make sure all the teams are covered. There are some nice surprises and disappointments of course. My reporting will skip OL and kickers etc. and I don't think it is crucial to mention no brainers. These are just speculations but hopefully they are on target. There might be cases where my info is wrong and a player ends up getting cut but for now I will lean on the more optimistic forecasts out there.

I'll begin with the Washington what do you call them?

Some good news coming out of camp. First QB Alex Smith, a longtime favorite of mine, will be added to the roster. They may store him away for the first 8 weeks but they want him on the team. If he makes it all the way back it would mark one of the greatest comebacks in the history of sports. A profile in courage.

WR Trey Quinn is not seen as a priority for them but reports suggest he will make the squad. They like his ST value and hopefully Trey can finally find his groove which has been hard with the shaky QB situation. He also needs to stop getting banged up.

But the big news coming out of camp at least in one report I read is that FS Troy Apke has been penciled in as a starter. Arguably the best pure athlete in the NFL reports have been saying he has been flying around the field and tightening up his diagnosis and taking better angles for tackles. That would be swell. Remember they have Cole Holcomb, a LB that also flies around the field.

So a few really bright spots on Washington who is entering into a new era with HC Rivera.

The Patriots 53 man roster projection.

I think they have finally gotten to the point where they realize RB Rex Burkhead is one of the most valuable and versatile RBs in the entire NFL. As always with Rex it is staying healthy. He is essential to their success.

FB/TE Dalton Keene is also very versatile and it looks the Pats will keep him which is a no brainer.

ST/S Cody Davis is just too fast to not have on special teams and he looks to replace Nate Ebner who is no longer with them. Hell if we are lucky he may get some S snaps?

BB likes WR/PR Gunner Olszweski and so do we. A natural football player I suspect he will get reps at WR this season teaming up with future Hall of Famer Julian Edelman. Sadly it looks like WR Will Hastings will miss the mark but might land on their practice squad.

The Pats still have enough "cookies" on the squad where I can't let go. Thrashen where are you? But there is a Woody member who has taken over his sideline reporting duties. I think?

Look for edge Chase Winovich to have a breakout year!

I forgot Rob Gronkowski, lol. How could I forget one of the greatest tight ends of all time?

The first and last player I think of when contemplating the Cardinals is WR Andy Isabella. Will this be the year they let this explosive keg of dynamite loose? Or will it be a replay of the horror movie last year where he was shuttered up in some attic like some crazed aunt?

The Cardinals have some intrigue.

All indications are they will keep their Taysom Hill type in QB Chris Streveler. I don't trust HC Kingsbury ( why would I?) but will he put his so called "offensive genius" to work by incorporating exciting talents like Isabella and Streveler into their game plan?

Big DL Zach Allen will probably start.

Two linebackers should make the team. Dennis Gardeck and rookie Evan Weaver.

It looks like converted WR Dylan Cantrell will once again be on the outside looking in as a TE. But both Maxx Williams and speedy Dan Arnold make a terrific TE duo. I think they re planning on breaking Arnold loose, something the Saints were reluctant to do.

Some tantalizing possibilities here but it remains to be seen if they will be realized?

Kind of like Roethlisberger in Pittsburgh with Ryan Switzer.....Locals want to see him gone for some reason.....Ben has a good relationship with Switzer and he’s likely to stay unless he ends up being terrible, which isn’t going to happen.....l.

I want to reiterate that my 53 man roster projections are not all encompassing. I am focusing on newer players too and leaving out seasoned vets and obvious starters. I will at times leave out back up QBs or TEs etc. too. And I am not about to spend time trying to figure out OL. I am guessing a member here will supply full lists once the lists do come out later this week.

One word about the inside story of an NFL scout. It is very complicated so I am warning you ahead of time be prepared.

The NFL scout goes through three steps before recommending a draft choice. Below is the criteria

1-Is player black? ---check

2-Is said player from SEC?---check

3-Scout's take--- Draft him.

Two very interesting developments from the Eagles.

Both DEs Casey Toohill and former MAC star ( who was discussed at length here back when but never got drafted) Joe Ostman outplayed their roster competition by a country mile in spring training. The Eagles are "surprised" how well Toohill has played. Gee if they had listened to us they wouldn't be surprised. If the day ever comes when scouts detach their noses out of the SEC's player's asses perhaps NFL rosters would start accumulating good players across the board again. Sure the SEC produces some good NFL talent but as the past few drafts have shown the over emphasis on SEC players is completely unnecessary.

Rumor is both Toohill and Ostman will make the team.

One aside. LB Nate ( I missed a tackle) Gerry will take on a leadership role this year and is quickly becoming a star. But that missed tackle does not look good on anyone's resume. Can you believe it? The NFL allows defenders to stay in the league who have missed a tackle. Things are getting too slack out there.

I was going to mention Apke, who indeed looks like he might be starting, something I thought wouldn't happen for him at any point in his career as it was looking like he was going to get the Colin Jones WSTD treatment. So if Rivera, who always underplayed Jones, starts Apke that'll be a great development.

Burkhead has been getting a fair amount of mention as a "deep sleeper," surprising given how many RBs the Patriots have and how the media herd was expecting Rex to be cut just a couple of months back. He's their best all-around back and Michel has constant injury worries (as unfortunately Rex does too), so Burkhead should at the least be part of New England's RBBC.

Isabella also could break through, but Arizona is deep at receiver and even TE Dan Arnold is getting lots of hype as a potential breakthrough player. There's only so many targets to go around, but hopefully this is the great Larry Fitzgerald's last season, which should clear the way for Andy next year if he's underutilized again this season.

Some of the teams offer little 53 man roster intrigue. The only drama with the Chargers surrounds their third string QB. With their franchise QB in tow with the athletic Justin Herbert, which was a great pick by them, Easton Stick looks like he will "stick" around as third man up. Easton is mobile and has good speed.

Easton Stick was a 3 or 4 year starter for NDSU - he ends up being a 5th round pick. The NFL media has anointed his black successor as a high first round draft pick after one year of starting. I believe Dane Brugler compared the one year wonder to Andrew Luck

Tight end continues to be a position of strength. New England drafted two TEs in the third round this year, Asiasi earlier than Keene, but in almost all cases in recent years a White TE drafted after a black one on the same team ends up winning the job, though very few tight ends put up big numbers as rookies. Blake Jarwin is also getting a lot of good press as he prepares to replace Jason Witten in Dallas. Jarwin is very athletic and it'll be a big upset if he doesn't come through this season.

Patriots TE Dalton Keene has "made up a lot of ground recently.”
With Devin Asiasi (ankle) limited at practice, Keene is getting the bulk of first-team reps. The Patriots could start both rookies in 12 personnel, but the fact Keene’s healthy may give him the edge. Keene was the highest SPARQ-score tight end in this year's draft. There’s deep league value if Keene falls into regular snaps.

The Cowboys are slowly but surely moving in the wrong direction. First staple WR Cole Beasley bolted last year and then unexpectedly they let loose stellar S Jeff Heath who is now with the exciting Raiders.

The bright spots include their TE contingent headlined by Blake Jarwin ( see Don's above post) who is a terrific talent. On defense both LBs Sean Lee and Vander Esch are top notch but both have had major injury issues the past few years.

The only cliffhanger I could find for the 53 man roster was former Nebraska LB Luke Gifford who played well on special teams last year but as far as making the squad this year it is 50-50. My guess is they keep him.

This is great news, especially after the Chargers drafted a linebacker in the first round in May. The downside is that Nick Vigil might be a backup this season:

Drue Tranquill is expected to occupy a three-down role this season, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports. Analysis: This is a bit of a two-fold breakdown as there was some thought Tranquill could take over at middle linebacker, moving Denzel Perryman or 2020 first-round pick Kenneth Murray to the outside. Instead, Tranquill will start on the outside and should play every down as well with the likes of Murray or even Kyzir White rotating off the field in obvious passing situations. It's an important distinction in deeper IDP leagues as Tranquill registered 75 tackles despite playing just 322 defensive snaps his rookie year.

Good stuff Don. I liked Tranquill as a player but even I was surprised how great he played last season. A true heat seeking missile who can obviously handle the passing game due to his experience as a DB at Notre Dame. Along with my new favorite NFL defender ( sadly previous favorite Luke Kuechly hung up his cleats) DE Joey Bosa, the Chargers D features two of the best young defenders in the game. And Vigil is a very good overlooked LB.
