Erickson isn't in a good spot as of now as far as playing time. He was finally "allowed" to play last year mainly because A. J. Green was injured all season, and of course John Ross was also per usual. Now Green is supposedly healthy, and the Bengals drafted Tee Higgins in the second round to start outside opposite Green. That leaves Erickson stuck behind Tyler Boyd in the slot, and Boyd is a good receiver. So unless there are injuries again Erickson will see his playing time reduced. At this point he's only fifth or sixth on the depth chart at receiver, so even his roster spot isn't guaranteed. I think he could be a thousand yard receiver, as he showed in limited playing time in '19, but that's not how the NFL works.

Here is another lie from weenieworld. The Giants have nowhere close to one of the best skill position groups in the NFL - Barkley is good, Tate is reliable underneath, Engram is overrated and oft-injured (can't block), Shepard is average and Slayton was the benificiary of additional reps with Daniel Jones during the offseason/training camp which allowed them to develop a rapport. Weenieworld of course makes out Daniel Jones to be some bad quarterback though when in fact he was a very dynamic, exciting and productive rookie. Glad I was able to set the record straight.

Giants coach Joe Judge said the offense will be “similarly based” off what OC Jason Garrett ran in Dallas.
That is potentially bad news for the Giants' offense. Before Cowboys OC Kellen Moore revitalized the offense last season, Dallas annually had one of the slowest-paced and run-heaviest offenses under Garrett's watch. If he doesn't make adjustments to what he was running in the early and mid-2010s, then the Giants' ceiling will be capped despite having one of the best skill-position groups in the NFL. Saquon Barkley, Evan Engram, Golden Tate, Sterling Shepard, and Darius Slayton have the potential to hide a lot of Daniel Jones' weaknesses in 2020 as long as Garrett can keep up with modern times. Garrett hasn't called plays since 2012.

TMZ reports Giants CB Deandre Baker and Seahawks CB Quinton Dunbar have been "accused of armed robbery" and had warrants issued for their arrest.
The gossip site reports Baker is facing four charges of armed robbery and four charges of aggravated assault with a firearm following a dispute at a cookout in Miramar, Fla. It is the same for Dunbar, minus the assault charges. Baker is alleged to have "whipped out a semi-automatic firearm" before he and Dunbar "began to rob party guests, taking watches and other valuables at the direction of Baker." Baker is also alleged to have asked a third man to shoot someone. No shooting took place, however. The duo allegedly departed with "$7,000 in cash and valuable watches including an $18,000 Rolex watch, a $25,000 Hublot and a pricey Audemars Piguet timepiece." More details should emerge soon. The Giants have said they are aware of the situation.

Did they think they’d actually get away with that? Wow I get amazed by the stupidity of some of these professional athletes every single time.

Baker was actually very bad as a rookie on the field. Now this armed robbery on top of it - one has to laugh when the caste system comes back to bite the NFL. You could probably wipe out a solid percentage of football players if colleges were not able to recruit players with a criminal record - probably a 1/4 of all affletes.

Yeah I don't follow that draft nonsense too tedious for me, and since it is obviously corrupt basically useless except as an anti-talent evaluator, but I would bet during the 2019 draft cycle his "Star" rating was batted about like badminton birdies by the caste clowns. At my Deploristan high school football program a couple of years ago the only rating interest was for a mullato kid who played wideout, had one smooth pattern and literally hands of stone, but hey they lined up to get him into camps, just becuz, that's an example of how "Stars" are handed out. I have seen so many talking heads talk about the lack of minority coaches, meaning the lack of former NFL players being coaches. But the average fan doesn't realize a successful NFL player that plays 10+years in the NFL is behind a marginal university level player who gave up on their pro dreams 10+years before the NFL player did.

Even White NFL players are behind a BB or an extreme outlier like McVay who when he was a coordinator and hired by the Rams as head coach McVay would have been about age of typical star to solid veteran's age when they retire.

So if you understand this logic than you know this screaming for former players to get this job is nonsense. Even the Blacks who make it to the top are usually similar to BB or McVay ie Tomlin.

Here’s another one, veteran WR Cody Latimer was arrested on 5 charges. Latimer is a 2nd round bust who has had a whopping 935 receiving yards in his 6 NFL seasons. He had his best NFL season in 2019 with 300 yards. How is this guy still in the league?
