Redskins with another stupid WR signing:

Redskins agreed to terms with WR Paul Richardson on a five-year, $40 million contract.

Per NFL.com's Mike Garofolo, the deal includes $20 million guaranteed. With Allen Robinson and Sammy Watkins already spoken for, Richardson had a claim to being the market's top remaining wideout. A true burner, injuries repeatedly slowed Richardson's progress in Seattle, but he finally put it all together and broke out last season. He will command attention down the field in Washington, helping Jordan Reed, Jamison Crowder and Chris Thompson over the middle, as well as Josh Doctson on the outside. With Alex Smith at quarterback and so many mouths to feed on offense, Richardson could have a hard time equalling his 2017 slash of 44/703/6.

Sammy Watkins and Tavon Austin leaving the Rams, which is great news for Kupp.

I’m happy for Keenum and I hope he gets a big contract from Denver.

Tom Brady’s LT, Nate Solder, has apparently been in talks with the Broncos and Texans. Not good for the Pats.

OL Andrew Norwell signed a huge deal with the Jags. Surprising, given their proclivity for sumos.
Word is a 2-year contract at $26 million/year. Elway met with Cousins' reps, but was deemed too expensive, so he immediately moved on to Keenum. They will keep Lynch as the immediate backup and try to trade Siemian. So, they should have Keenum, Lynch and Kelly on their roster as QBs. Not sure about Osweiler.

They really don't know what they are doing. When did they last have a white TE that they drafted or even played heavily? I cannot recall a white TE for the Packers since Chmura. In a draft stocked with quality white TEs why go out and pursue a mediocre player like Dickson or a declining player like Graham. Perhaps the draft will make me change my tune but after the treatment of Janis and the inept manner in which they continue to address their backup QB position.

I still can't get over McCarthy's comments about Hundley and their stupidity to trade for Kizer.

Agreed my patience is worn thin with GB right now. Pissing Away a talented QBs career.

Good to see The Dolphins with another pale faced WR! Been a few years since Harrline was black balled outta the League. Maybe Danny can bring some playoff magic to Miami.

Good for Danny. Took pay cuts for 3 straight years to remain in NE, and has come up with too many clutch post-season moments to count over the years. He has more than earned a nice payday.

Looks to be a 2 year/$12 million deal, with $8.25 mil guaranteed. He should be set for life, happy for him.

As much as I’d love to see Danny “get paid” in his final NFL contract, I hope NE matches the deal before it becomes final tomorrow and he returns. If not, what an amazing run he had with the Pats. Without Danny, they would’ve never even gone to SB 49 and 51, let alone won them...

Wow, can't believe the Dolphins signed Amendola! Finally something worth cheering for with this moribund dogsh*t franchise! This could spell the end for the afflete Carroo who has been a colossal bust since being drafted in the 3rd round.

Packers look to be cutting Jordy to sign Graham..Sad day in CF history when Jordy is handed his walking papers. Darkening of the roster seems immanent now.

That's ridiculous. Jordy should of been allowed to leave on his terms.

Jordy one of the most important players in the NFL. The brilliant "deep threat" arrived at a critical juncture in the NFL and turned around what seemed to be a narrative cast in stone that only blacks can be deep threats. He turned that notion on it's head as he became the best. Even landed an SI cover story. And most notably was the key cog in the Packer's last SB victory. He was just beginning to find his way and broke out in that Super Bowl which led the way for a tremendous stretch of seasons.

A great guy this will give Jordy an opportunity to redeem himself after a young black QB pretty much ruined his year and inevitably Packer career.

The Packers are exhibiting all the signs of a team in decline. Celtic was the first guy I thought of when I just saw the news.

Looks like the Jets are bring McCown back rather than signing Sewerwater which is what all the cucked sports sites were reporting. The exact definition of fake news.

Thanks Shadowlight and as always a great post. Jordy is a personal favorite of mine and a fan favorite of just about every friend and family member I have in Wisconsin. Classy guy on and off the field and yes most importantly one of, if not the most important white deep threat we've ever had.

There are rumors he may re-sign for less money but teams like Pats,49ers, and Panthers have all shown interest. Sad day in Wisconsin.

I would love to see Jordy go to the Pats, Colts, Panthers, Vikings or even the Dolphins. Imagine him and Amendola
causing terror. Heck maybe even Denver would be a good landing sport with the Broncos signing Keenum.

Of course the Miami DWF's are bitching about the Amendola signing. I get that the fan base is upset over losing Landry (and deservedly so since the Dolphins only got a 4th round pick for him) He caught a ton of balls but they were usually for only 3 yards a clip. Amendola is a slot receiver that can stretch the field a lot better. The only reservation I have about this signing is his injury history. I'm more pissed off they resigned that slug Ja'Wuan James at RT as he's only marginally better than that other pussy sumo Jonathan Martin (remember him?) I was hoping for maybe Connor Williams or Mike McGlinchey in the draft, but other than those two, this draft is relatively weak for right tackles.

The Jets signed both McCown and Sewerwater to one year deals. My guess is they end up drafting a QB early as well. Glennon is still available.

I really wonder who Buffalo has its eyes on - Darnold, Rosen or Allen.

I'd like to see him go to the 49ers and play with Garappolo.

As a niners fan I’m a little bias, but I agree. Jordy, Taylor, Garcon, Goodwin, Kittle, Celek and Juszczyk would be a great receiving corps for Jimmy G to throw to.

I would love to see Jordy sign with the LA Rams.

He would be a perfect fit, a talented experienced receiver that can help the young receivers and the QB, ( Goff and Kupp) make the next step to being greats.

The Pats need to draft a young and overlooked WR in my opinion, or trade for some talented guys on practices rosters.

I actually would love to see what the Pats could do with Janis. Make him the next Hogan.
