NE’s starting RB, Deion Lewis, signed by the Titans. Hopefully the Pats can resign Burkhead and give him more PT than last year.

Sources say that Jordy is “targeting” the Pats and Raiders as potential teams to sign with...

Wherever he ends up, I’d love to see him play well and make the Packers regret this move.

In other news, it’s being reported that Danny Woodhead was only released due to cap reasons. The Ravens wanted to restructure his deal, but he refused and is looking for a new team. It would nice to see him keep playing another season or two instead of retiring.

Hope Woodhead's gamble pays off. I wonder how much of a pay cut he was asked to take by the Ravens.

Wow another slap in the face to Jordy by The Packers. Word is they only offered him a veterans minimum contract(1mil). These jerk offs expected him to take a 8mil paycut!

From what I recall, Gruden was always very complimentary of Jordy whenever the Packers were on MNF. Going to NE is a best case scenario, but at this point, I just hope he plays for a couple more years. I'm sure he'll find a team.

So far Gruden's Raiders have signed Griff Whalen and TE Derek Carrier. Now they care being considered a destination for Jordy. Perhaps Chucky has shed some of his caste ways? The draft will be very telling.

It’s hard to believe the Pats would let Amendola walk and sign Jordy, who is older, has much more mileage, is an outside receiver, and will likely command a higher salary. That said, there have been rumors that NE wants to trade Brandin Cooks, as they don’t want to pay him next year and want to get some value for him.

More bad news for the Pats, as Nate Solder will likely sign elsewhere (Texans, Giants, Browns). NE were willing to pay Marcus Cannon, but not Solder?

When Woodhead and Nelson were cut yesterday, there were literally hundreds of DWF’s claiming that “the Patriots will sign them both because they love white players.”

Haha, it only took 10 years for them to notice that the best offensive team heavily employs white players.

Beau Allen looks to have landed a gig as a rare starting White NT:

Bucs agreed to terms with NT Beau Allen, formerly of the Eagles. Allen is a hulking 6'3/327 and should step right in as the Bucs' nose tackle next to three-technique Gerald McCoy after 2017 experiment DT Chris Baker ended up a colossal failure. Allen doesn't offer much on the stat sheet but should help improve a Bucs run defense that was 23rd in yards allowed.

The Giants make a smart move, but it could be a career-shortening one for Tom Brady. Belichick is a little too clever for his own good when it comes to not retaining key players, always believing they can be replaced by cheaper substitutes.

Giants signed LT Nate Solder, formerly of the Patriots, to a four-year, $60 million contract. This deal makes him the highest-paid tackle in football. Solder also drew heavy interest from the Broncos, Browns, Texans and of course, his old team, the Patriots. The 29-year-old has never received any All-Pro recognition or even gone to a Pro Bowl, but he's a solid veteran starter and should be a huge upgrade on draft bust Ereck Flowers at left tackle. Back in Foxboro, Cameron Fleming and LaAdrian Waddle are the leading in-house candidates to replace Solder on Tom Brady's blind side.

Makes that two white starters on the buccs defense in very caste positions in NT and safety. Hopefully LB Riley Bullough (55 2017 snaps) and DE Patrick O’Connor (21 2017 snaps) can break through to bigger roles as well.

Too bad that offense is not worth rooting for at all outside of Humphries and Brate.

I'd love to see the Bucs draft a QB in the 3rd/4th round too. Jameez hasn't been living up to his lofty draft status and media hype. The media and DWFs will only defend him of course but I have to wonder if his coach wants a to develop a backup plan. In a QB rich draft like the one this year it would not be bad to bring in some competition for an underachieving first overall pick who lacks maturity and composure.

Jordy visiting with the Raiders, Seahawks, and Saints. No mention of him visiting the Pats, just that he was possibly interested in joining NE.

Joe Thomas - Browns OT and future Hall of Famer has retired.

The Patriots are interested in former Redskins DE/OLB Trent Murphy.

The Patriots have 6 picks in the draft with 4 in the 1st three rounds which could be used to fill holes all over the place. They are notoriously bad drafters though and I have to wonder if time is finally running out on them - they showed no loyalty to Amendola who was nothing but consistently clutch, Edelman is coming back from injury, Gronk will more than likely be back but for how many years, the OL lost it's stalwart in Solder only to be replaced with a sumo and the defense has been the achilles of this team for the past several years. They usually get cute on draft day and move around, trade down, acquire picks etc but with so many needs to fill and a need for a long term QB solution it will be interesting to watch. I could easily see them doing something stupid like draft Lamar Jackson.

Pats do something right - re-sign Burkhead to a multi-year deal!

Smart move and Pleased for Rex! Let's hope for more shame they didn't follow up their alleged interest in Trent Murphy. Bill Belicheck will come good tho.

Some of guys getting good deals like Beau Allen and Weston Richburg which will be good Jimmy G!

Let' hope Jordy gets somewhere he can start and show what a mistake the Packers made!

Awesome! Now, how about Cushing or Worrilow or both for that defense?

How do you guys think Cushing would fare as 3-4 edge rusher? He's got the size, speed, and strength. I always thought he was being wasted inside...

Safety Cody Davis signed by the Jags. Disappointed the Rams did not keep him around.

DE Mitch Unrein to the Bucs

LB Brock Coyle resigned with San Fran

QB Tom Savage to the the Saints

QB Trevor Semien traded to the Vikings (not a bad QB depth chart for the Vikings)

OG Brandon Fusco to the Falcons

Update on the Raiders/Gruden. They resigned reserve hybrid DE/LB James Cowser.

Get this. QB Derek Carr went to the airport to meet Jordy in person. Gives you an idea of how bad the Raiders want him. If I was a betting man I say they secure him very quickly. Former Packer assistants who know Jordy are on the Raiders staff. My understanding is several teams are falling all over themselves trying to get Jordy. Who wouldn't other than the brain dead Packers.
