Just saw that Adam Gostis was arrested on a rape charge from a 2013 incident. With all of the metoo movement stuff out there I don’t really take these accusations seriously - especially considering the alleged incident occurred around 5 years ago.

Defense: Kyle Williams, Paul Posluszny, Will Compton, Brent Urban, Trent Murphy, Connor Barwin, Nate Ebner, and “cap casualties” like Clay Matthews, Brooks Reed, and Shea McClellin.

Can you imagine if these guys were on 1 or 2 teams together? yowza....

The Bucs re-signed TE Cameron Brate to a 6-year, $41 million deal. He’s their “receiving TE” and the black 1st rounder, Howard, is the “blocking TE.”

WR Brenton Bersin is another name to watch for. Also TE Luke Willson, I think could be an impact player if given an opportunity.

On Defense, Mitch Unrein and Jared Crick have been solid starters. LBs Brian Cushing, Nick Bellore, Brock Coyle, and Paul Worrilow are also available. Chris Prosinski is a free agent as well.

In four seasons with the Chiefs, 5'9" Albert Wilson's yearly receiving yardage totals were 260, 451, 279 and 554, with just seven total touchdowns, yet there is a "hot market" for him. He'll likely get a better contract than Amendola, Decker, Janis and any other available White receivers.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Dolphins have emerged as the "front-runner" for free agent WR Albert Wilson. Rapoport also reports the market is "hotter than expected" for Wilson, who set career-highs across the board with a 42-554-3 line in 2017.

OL Andrew Norwell signed a huge deal with the Jags. Surprising, given their proclivity for sumos.

Poz retires. One of the best LBs of the past decade


Jaguars LB Paul Posluszny retired after 11 seasons in the NFL.

A second-round pick by the Bills in the 2007 draft, Posluszny will be remembered as a Jaguar, where he spent the final seven seasons of his career. He only made one Pro Bowl (in 2013), but Posluszny was a quality starter throughout his career, racking up 1,213 tackles, 15 interceptions, and eight forced fumbles.

Bears make a stupid move - signing TE Trey Burton who was never more than a 3rd string role players with the Eagles but since he threw a TD pass in the Super Bowl he is now viewed as a viable TE. Makes complete sense in the caste NFL.

Bears signed TE Trey Burton, formerly of the Eagles, to a four-year, $32 million contract.

This move almost certainly means the Bears plan to cut Dion Sims, who they just signed to a "three-year, 18 million" contract last offseason. Chicago will hope Burton fares better, and he has a good shot under new coach Matt Nagy, who heavily utilized tight ends during his time with the Chiefs. That should mean good fantasy things for Burton, but he might have to compete with 2017 second-rounder Adam Shaheen for targets. In addition to Burton, the Bears added Allen Robinson to their talent-bare pass-catching corps on Tuesday.

I wonder how political this charge is. I'm not saying he should skate if he did this, but in the current political environment prosecutors will bend over backwards to not look they are enabling men.

Also any plea deal could make Gotsis ineligible for retaining his work visa. Guilty or not and lawyers will make out like bandits defending him against these charges.

Anyone who watched the Giants last year knows that their LBs were laughable (outside of Munson). Of course the Lions see so much upside in a mediocre player they have to sign him.

Lions signed LB Devon Kennard, formerly of the Giants, to a three-year, $18.75 million contract.

With Tahir Whitehead and Paul Worrilow free agents, the Lions needed help at linebacker. Kennard is not going to solve all of their problems, but he is a solid option who should be able to hold down a starting spot next to 2017 first-round MLB Jarrad Davis.

Danny Woodhead cut by the Ravens. He didn't look good after returning from a serious hamstring injury last year, and wasn't used much either. At his age and with all his injuries this might be the end for Danny.

Bills re-signed DT Kyle Williams to a one-year, $6 million contract. GM Brandon Beane recently said he expected Williams to continue his career, and it was always unlikely he left Buffalo, where he has been since being selected in the fifth round of the 2006 draft. With Star Lotulelei now on board, the Bills should have a better defensive tackle group in 2018.

They really don't know what they are doing. When did they last have a white TE that they drafted or even played heavily? I cannot recall a white TE for the Packers since Chmura. In a draft stocked with quality white TEs why go out and pursue a mediocre player like Dickson or a declining player like Graham. Perhaps the draft will make me change my tune but after the treatment of Janis and the inept manner in which they continue to address their backup QB position.

I still can't get over McCarthy's comments about Hundley and their stupidity to trade for Kizer.

With Star Lotulelei now on board, the Bills should have a better defensive tackle group in 2018.

Hopefully they draft some more white players this year to rebuild that upside laden affletic roster that has been in place since the Nix/Whaley era. From all their moves it sounds like they are trying to position themselves for one of the elite QBs in the draft - my guess is Rosen/Darnold or Allen.
