Pro Football Focus released it's list of the top ten rookies. Offensive tackle Ryan Ramczyk was rated 5th. Christian McCaffrey and Cooper Kupp received honorable mentions.

Solid year for the LT from Wisconsin! All the "experts " projected him to RT or Guard because they had worries about his athleticism. Looks like he's done a damn good job on the blidside keeping Brees upright!! Not to mention helping out run blocking opening lanes for Kamara and Ingram.

The top three rookie WRs in terms of receptions:
1. Cooper Kupp (62 receptions) (pick 69)
2. JuJu Smith Schuster (58) (pick 62)
3. Trent Taylor (43) (pick 177)

Meanwhile the highly drafted wide receivers (guys above Smith Schuster)...
Pick 5. Corey Davis - 34 receptions
Pick 7. Mike Williams - 11 receptions
Pick 9. John Ross - 0 receptions, 1 rush attempt, 1 fumble - hilariously bad play by a player who was only drafted highly because of a gimmicky fast 40-yard dash.
Pick 37. Zay Jones - 27 receptions
Pick 40. Curtis Samuel - 15 receptions

The other two white WRs drafted were Ryan Switzer (seventh in kick return yards, third in kick return average, twelfth in punt return yards and punt return average) and Chad Hansen (stupidly underused by the jets along with fellow rookie WR, pick 79, ArDarius Stewart - Hansen had the most receptions and yards out of the two of them with 9 for 94).

ESPN is attempting to sabotage the Patriots playoff run as they plan to publish a report that Brady secretly went to owner Robert Kraft (behind Belichick's back) and demanded that the team trade Jimmy G. The Marxist sports agency is also alleging that Belichick felt so slighted by Brady's actions that this will be his final year with the organization.

(((Ari Gilberg))) of the "Jew York Slimes" wrote an article about the matter this today...

Here are some actual photos of (((Mr. Gilberg))), who appears to be approximately 4' 5" tall, haha...

The thing is Garoppolo was set to become a free agent after this season. The Patriots would not have been able to keep him due to the high contract he would probably command.

So they had a choice between keeping him and Tom Brady. With Brady showing no signs of slowing down, they picked Brady.

Note how the mainstream media soft peddles this rather obvious point to promote the idea that Brady demanded that Garoppolo be traded. They give no explanation as to why Brady may have done this.

This is a very deep qb class - Pats just draft Brady's heir apparent this year and let him play for the next 2 years and hand the keys over to the qb they draft in 2018. I bet that wasn't mentioned in these articles by so called journalists.

My prediction - Pats select Luke Falk

Part of the ESPN report is that Belichick wanted to keep Garoppolo (new contract or franchise tag) and trade Brady after the season.

I remember last season when Brady was suspended for 4 games and Jimmy G. injured his shoulder in the 2nd game against Miami. The rumor at that time was that the team was very angry at Jimmy for not returning for the 4th game of Brady's suspension (Brissett started), as they thought he was healthy enough to play. Allegedly, he didn't want to risk further injury. If Belichick and the organization didn't think he was tough enough to play through that injury, why would they trust him and jettison an ironman like Brady?

Trump is constantly talking about "anonymous sources" are the tell-tale sign of "fake news" and that might be the case with this story.

I didn't realize Trent Taylor was third among rookie receivers, very impressive and extremely rare for two of the top three rookie receivers to be White as White receivers so seldom get a chance as rookies. Could it be the start of a trend of shortening racial apprenticeships, which at times have dragged on for a half-decade and longer for paleface receivers?

And George Kittle got better as the season went along and should quickly become a star at tight end with Jimmy G. throwing him the ball.

Apparently the raiders are giving Gruden, who hadn’t coached in a decade, a 10 year $100 million contract LOL
This reminds me of this scene from Dumb and Dumber, I hope Gruden gets certified cheques.....
The best line I have heard yet of this deal is my mother put a 100 million dollars in my trust account but I didn't put aside a 20 dollar bill for a haircut...

Trying to rationalize this deal but it isn't easy. Usually when you see long term deals like this one the one up for the job 'insisted" it be a long term deal as a bargaining chip. It is fraught with risk. Too many baseball contracts end up on a sour note. Look at Albert Pujols. In 2012 the Angels signed him to a huge ten year contract. He has not lived up to his billing. And now with the wear and tear of age and injuries he is becoming a burden to the organization.

That said Jon Gruden has a few things on his side. He is still relatively young and will turn 55 in 2018. They will probably give him a lot of say so there won't be a disconnect between him and the front office. He comes across as still being passionate about the game and even though he has been away from coaching for nearly 10 years or so he has been involved with the game and runs a QB camp etc.. He was a good NFL coach back when and had that one big season with a Super Bowl victory which is his biggest selling point. But his overall record is above average but nothing spectacular. He is good for marketing though because he is a very high profile, likeable media figure so at least initially he will sell tickets and get Raider fans all excited. He is much more dynamic than his laid back brother Jay, the current HC of the Redskins.

Still the deal reeks of some desperation. If anyone here owned the Raiders would you put up a ten year deal for a Head Coach not named Bill Belichick? Reason dictates a five to seven year deal but again I assume Gruden's agent held out for ten and the Raiders took the bait. You mean to tell me they couldn't hire a coach just as good with a seven year deal? And I wouldn't even give Belichick a ten year deal today because he is too old.

Nevertheless what interests me most is what direction Gruden takes the team in caste terms going forward. He is inheriting the blackest team going and I suspect that trend will slow down albeit that wouldn't be difficult to do. My best guess is he will make the team more white friendly but only time will tell.

I think Gruden will settle in at about 5 to 7 White starters, including a White QB whether it's Carr or someone else. I doubt he has the patience to try to develop a black quarterback. In fact, as a broadcaster he comes across as having little patience in general for incompetence and stupid mistakes, which is why I'm surprised he's returning to coaching. But then again, $100 mil for 10 years will sway just about anyone who's been a coach before to try it again.

Again a guessing game but look for more white defensive players. If I had to pin point the one thing Gruden hates the most are these modern day matador defenses made up of guys who "look the part" and test well at the combine but can't play a lick of proper defense. Clueless athletic specimens who can't tackle or diagnose a play if it landed on them. I would like to think he will focus in on hard charging intelligent defensive players who play defense the right way like Sean Lee, Luke Kuechly and Harrison Smith. It is called playing D the old fashioned way and that is what turns a team into a winner.

A guessing game for sure, one that will be of a lot of interest starting with the '18 Draft and into training camp and the regular season. I wonder if Gruden will still be "Chucky" on the sideline, making the contorted faces that turned him into a national cartoon character. Since he's now in his mid-50s I hope not.

Worth noting the track record for notable coaches making come backs isn't great. Art Shell ( who was never great), Tom Flores, Joe Gibbs and Mike Ditka all fell on their faces after they returned from a layoff. The one glaring exception was Dick Vermeil who won a Super Bowl with the Rams after years of being in the TV booth. He was always crying which was weird. Ha.

Chucky wasn't really White friendly in Tampa, that team was very Black, granted he inherited that team, but he didn't go out of his way to draft White players and he all but demoted Alstott. I think biscuit head McKenzie is probably toast now.....

Reading that full report is a bunch of BS. You can't say the Patriots had issues with Guerrero and his methods then say the training staff got angry when Jimmy G was locked out of TB12 in the same article. That is nonsense.

I agree with a prior poster that MSESPN is trying to sabotage the Patriots season. The big giveaway for me is that the article attempted to legitimize the manufactured "Spygate" and "Deflategate" scandals. Even though these issues had no connection to the thesis of the article.

Seth Wickersham also wrote an article right before the 2015 season full of dubious cheating allegations from only anonymous sources, which were likely made up anyway.

Hopefully this backfires as badly as most other anti-Brady/Belichick witch hunts.

Right NEP. That was the second big giveaway. Especially the part of Kraft pretty much saying we were guilty but I had to act like that for the fans.

Right. Another portion of the article that makes no sense is the claim that Brady has “Secret General Manager Powers” over personnel decisions. If so, then why wasn’t he able to influence the re-signing of his real life best friend (and the second most valuable player at the time), Wes Welker, during the 2013 off-season? If Brady controls everything, then why did he allow the Pats to draft Jimmy G. and Brissett to begin with? They could’ve just as easily signed an non-threatening veteran like McCown, Hoyer, or Foles.

One aspect of the article that really annoyed me was the portrayal of Brady as highly insecure and extremely paranoid of all backup QBs. He allegedly wouldn’t help Jimmy to improve his game in any way for fear that a few pointers might result inn Brady being overtaken by the younger QB. After Jimmy G. was traded in November, the article said that Brady’s mood changed completely (he became very happy) and he told people that he “won.” It also said that the reason Brady is rarely taken out of games, even during their many blowout wins, is because he doesn’t want the coaches to see another QB play better than him.

The media wanted Jimmy to take over for Brady because it pained them to call of white athlete the greatest of all time and the fact that Brady could still add to his legacy freighted them. When Jimmy was traded, they knew that Brady would surely play a few more years and this article is a manifestation of their hatred and jealousy of Brady, Belichick, and the “white” culture they created in NE.

Worse yet (from the media’s perspective), Garroppolo being traded means that yet another QB spot is taken by a top flight white athlete.

Imagine yourself as the GM of the Patriots. Garoppolo will be a free agent at the end of the season. Brady is still playing great. Garoppolo will likely command a big contract in free agency so you won't be able to keep both Brady and Garoppolo.

Here are your options. 1) Keep Garoppolo and trade or release Brady at the end of the season. 2) Keep Garoppolo and let him walk at the end of the season. You might get a 3rd round compensatory pick the next year depending on the free agents you sign. 3) Trade Garoppolo for a high pick in the upcoming draft.

I'd opt for 3. The deal just made sense from a team management perspective.

The mainstream media just wants to use this trade to trash Brady because he's a white hero. They don't want white people to have any heroes.
