The NFL is so rich in receiving talent that a bum like Kelvin Benjamin may immediately become the third receiving target on the Chiefs:
The Chiefs signed recently waived veteran WR Kelvin Benjamin to a one-year deal, which essentially takes him through the remainder of the season with one of the league’s top offenses. With WR Sammy Watkins struggling with a foot injury, Benjamin could see significant snaps immediately and serve as the third target for QB Patrick Mahomes.
Have you noticed also how complete no-name running backs have outperformed some of the highly drafted backs? Players like Gus Edwards, Josh Adams, Jeff Wilson (and before him on the 49ers Matt Breida), Chris Carson and others. It's obvious yet again that "talent evaluators" are useless, or else playing running back is something that can be done by guys literally off the street. Unless they're White of course.
