He was unproductive in college.

They really have nothing after Austin and Bryant at WR. Coale should have a decent chance at being their third receiver, which on that offense could mean a lot of action as Laurent Robinson showed last season.

Someone just drafted an affletic WR from Arizona who's best 40 time was 4.68....We've now come to the point were white DE's and TE's are running much faster than the black WR's and CB's and are still getting screwed up the @ss. By some miracle, SMU had a full-sized, white DE/TE that ran in the low 4.5's and was picked in round 5, according to ESPN -- which actually talked about him for a few minutes.

I wonder how many Taylor Thompson's are out there (DE's that run 4.6 or below) and have to see an endless parade of black WR's and DB's that run 4.7 (or worse) and have "attitude issues" drafted ahead of them?

Not even close imo, Miles Austin has declined every single year since his breakout season, I know he was injured but he was still averaging a smaller amount per game, with the average he would have had 926 yards. Dez almost hit the 1k mark but didn't have one game 100 yard game, in fact has had only one in the 28 games since being highly drafted, you think he would have stepped it up with absence of Austin for 6 games. Witten led the team in receiving yards. Austin and Bryant were great in the red zone though. In a fair world he would have a shot to compete for the number 1 or 2 spot but should get plenty of looks in the slot and be used to stretch the field and not exclusively on underneath stuff. One injury and he should be playing on the outside.

Guy is somewhat infamous in this area because of some interviews Rich Brooks did on the talk radio circuit several years ago. It was during Kentucky's Fall camp and Brooks said that Guy ran a 4.20 40. Everybody was wowed and intimidated by Kentucky's speed. Of course, none of the KY DBs had to prove these speed credentials. They just carried these perceptions through with them for their entire careers. That's how first impressions work. It wouldn't surprise me if plenty of NFL scouts still think of Winston Guy as a "burner", even after his crappy combine performance.

Wow, the later rounds are just as bound as the 2nd and 3rd rounds. I think I'm gonna go watch paint dry here pretty soon. So far in round 6, not counting kickers, a whopping total of 2 white players have been drafted(both OL).

Love that the Redskins picked up Cousins, he is more in the mold of the qb required in Shanahan's offense, his 40 might not be great but he can roll out quickly and has better pocket presence. Griffin's size and lack of pocket presence combined with them probably throwing some designed runs in will lead him more prone to injury, so Cousins will probably get some time to showcase his talent. He will probably wind up getting a real chance with another team in a year or two.

Wow, NE drafts Nate Ebner from Ohio State, I'm guessing as a white special teams demon, considering the Buckeyes secondary is pretty much off limits to white players right now.

I gotta feel bad for guys like Matt Merletti and Blake Gideon, along with Kellen Moore and JEremy Ebert. How can they watch all of these inferior players keep going before them?

looks like the NFL is desperate. Willing to sacrifice the product on the field in order to keep the racial balance the same, because if our guys were given real shots in the late rounds they would make a real impact, most of these guys will be out of the league in a few years. They are just hoping a few stick, if you draft 160 you will wind up with a few that make it. Now it will be another uphill battle for our guys as undrafted free agents. Ebert and Shoemaker not going is dissapointing, I am sure some lesser White wideout will go instead, similar to Tim Toone being drafted and Blair White left as an UDFA. Never heard of Ebner, hopefully the Pats did some real scouting on this kid and not just some special teams pick up. There are plenty of White safeties still out there that can make impacts as starters.

He played rugby and never played HS football. Walked onto OSU, but barely played, then ran a 4.48 on his pro day.

Don, did a quick google search and was disappointed: Ebner is an older, foreign born ex-Rugby player that is a workout warrior. Sounds like he's strictly a special teams coverage guy. Remember Ethan Kilmer from PSU a few years ago? Seems to be similar. I would rather have seen a guy like Gideon, Merletti or the safety from Northwestern picked...Nonetheless, we should take any little bit of good news we can get.


P.S: 7 whites I counted in round five are: Thompson, Carder, Coale, OT from Purdue, Bradie Ewing, R. Miller and I'm assuming the kicker from Texas A&M is white?

I was hopeful there might be some incremental chipping away at the Caste System after the first round but the status quo prevailed. The best way to cover up the Caste System is to keep denying many obviously talented White players a fair opportunity. The decline in the black football player pool over the last decade is stunning, but as with all the other long-term charades in this sick culture, the show must go on. . . and on. . . and on. . .

I had to do google searches for photos of several, but it looks like only 9 whites went in round six. This is stunningly bad, when you consider their positions!

Group includes two kickers and punter (who I assume all are white). A quarterback, who might not even make it in Arizona and an older Rugby player drafted over legit white safety prospects...The other four are O-Linemen: Asper, Mondek, Slowey and Compton.

That's my count for the sixth, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Hopefully I missed a few

Thanks. I missed Thompson and Carder. I assumed they were black. 7 i still terrible.

I don;t know that I like Coale to Dallas. He'll be treated like Jeffers.

well, after thinking about it for a while trying to remain positive, even though there were at least 5 defensive backs that could make an impact as starters in the NFL, if any team can use Ebner's talent its the Patriots. Edelman was a qb and has been used as a wr/kr/pr/db and hopefully the other guys get legit shots in camp somewhere, maybe a few will manage to squeeze through despite the bs, I am sure there is more than 5 considering all of the smaller schools, Ive only had the chance to look at a handful.

Meanwhile it looks like teams just put a bunch of affletes pics on a wall and are throwing darts at it and turning their selection in.

If Kellen Moore and Case Keenum were engaged or married to a dark-skinned black woman they would've not only been drafted, but had camera crews from ESPN at their house to interview them after they were selected.

Hopefully the Pats will use Ebner instead of Woodhead on ST so that Woodhead isn't risking serious injury on Kickoff Coverage teams. I seriously doubt any other team uses one of their starting RB's on Kickoff Coverage teams.
