I really have no problem with Manziel sitting. In hockey, players are drafted out of Junior at 18 years of age. Most of them get sent back to Junior. Very few of them actually make the team their first year. You hear a lot of the hockey analysts state "no player has ever been hurt by spending more time in Junior" I believe the same applies to QB in the NFL as well. Aaron Rodgers sat for like 4 years and he turned out pretty damn good. I think the longer Hoyer can keep the starting job, the better it will be for Manziel in the long run.

It just shows how stupid the so-called experts really are. Remember John Madden proclaiming RG3 as the best player in the NFL? The truth is that football is not rocket science. So called experts like to throw around fancy pseudo-technical terms like "skill set" and then brag about how much film they have watched therefore their opinion is actually fact. But, the truth is that their opinion is just an opinion usually based on emotion not different from the average couch potato who watches plenty of "film" every Sunday, Monday night, and Thursday night.

My gosh look at all the complete swings and misses by the so-called experts who all assured us that they have done their homework. Geno smiff, EJ manuel, RGIII - I could go on. College football experts are no better. Wisconsin failed to offer JJ Watt, a 6'6" 300 lb beast, a scholarship. Neither did any other major D1 team. It's not like Watt was hidden away on the farm bailing hay. Watt was a football standout in High School and a track standout. The "experts" must have miss calculated his "skill set."

Scouts clearly include "being black" as part of a player's skill set.

I've also noticed that they give more weight to black successes. For example, both a black wide receiver and a white wide receiver have 13 touchdown receptions. They believe that the black player's 13 TDs are more of an accomplishment that the white player's 13 TDs.

It might be possible to reduce this to a mathematical formula. For example, 18 TDs by a white receiver is seen as equal to 13 TDs by a black receiver.

Perhaps you can quantify the anti-white racism in football this way.

I really don't think you can quantify it. Plenty of very productive white players with prolific college careers get screwed over every year. White skill position players who go to the combine and put up great numbers also get screwed over. You can't win either way if you are white. If a white runs a 4.59 he is slow, if he is black he plays faster than his times speed or he didn't have good technique.

I am personally a little conflicted on the Manziel/Hoyer debate. I like both players. Hoyer has a great story coming into the league as a free agent qb, learning under Brady, becoming a written off journeyman who ends up as a starter for his home team. I think Hoyer has a future as a serviceable starter and will command some interest as a potential starter for a team. I also appreciate his confidence in his abilities when asked about potentially losing the starting spot. I wish Cousins had more of that approach when he was starting for the Redskins to be honest.

Manziel is a rare talent and fun to watch. He is young and has a lot to learn about playing the position in the NFL. I think the Browns plan of sitting him was the right decision. I think we can all be realistic and acknowledge that mobile qbs running the zone read have been a pretty big failure in the NFL. I think the way Manziel becomes a successful long term qb is by learning to play from the pocket and using his athletic ability spontaneously rather than running plays that actually call for him to run the ball. He did that on Sunday vs Buffalo, he was in the pocket scanning the field and saw an opening and took off for the TD.

If teams don't respect your ability as a passer the running lanes aren't there. Teams have taken the running ability away from the black quarterbacks and dared them to throw the ball and as we have seen they simply can't do it. On the other hand look at Rodgers and Luck - they are pocket passers but have shown they can run the ball, the defenses are scared of their passing ability which allows them to break off some good runs. That is what Manziel needs to become.

I agree that the Zone read as your primary offensive play is not sustainable as the QB is likely to take too much punishment season after season to become a polished QB. I would not call mobility and the quarterback using it to scramble and run quite often a failure though. Our sample size is all based on black quarterbacks - all of which either lack the passing skills from the get go or lack the dedication to position to be long term successful QBs. White quarterbacks with running ability are nearly all discouraged from using their legs at all or not given a chance in the first place.

I wouldn't have too many called runs for Manziel as his body would not be able to take the beating, but I sure would encourage him to take off and run when the free yards are there. What a blow to the caste system it would be if the best mobile quarterback in the league was a white man after years of pushing the "new breed" of quarterback.

It's a tough call for Cleveland. Hoyer has been bad the past three games but the Browns remain in playoff contention. It might be better to stick with Hoyer for at least one more game, but if they lose the next one and thus become on the outside looking in on the playoffs then begin the Johnny Manziel era.

To me Hoyer is essentially a journeyman, a serviceable starter like Ryan Fitzpatrick but not a quarterback to build a team around.

It's not an unreasonable decision to go with Manziel but I think the thing to do is go with the veteran in the short term. If the Browns are eliminated then they can go to Manziel.

I think Manziel has an excellent chance of becoming a franchise quarterback. I still think the Texans should have taken him with the number 1 pick.

the only reason why they delayed Manziel is to let some of the hype die down so they can pull him faster if he doesn't immediately impress. If he was black they really wouldnt give a crap about Hoyer.

Just looked it up, Jordy is only 7th in receiving yards, and he dropped to 8th in targets. A damn shame. He should be leading the league in yards. Its still not too late he isn't too far behind , but i just don't like seeing guys like Golden Tate ahead of him when I know they aren't close talent wise.

No question about that. Jordy was tagged as a possession receiver coming into the NFL and had to serve a racial apprenticeship, as all White players must at positions other than QB and OL. He's been a break-through outside receiver, as Wes Welker was inside several years earlier. Jordy could likely break Calvin Johnson's season receiving yards record and otherwise dominate the stats at his position for several years, but it won't be allowed to happen. But Nelson has been the best deep threat White receiver since Don Maynard and Lance Alworth in the 1960s.

What hasn't changed is the perception that Jordy is some kind of freak, when he's recognized at all, rather than what the NFL would be much more like if the playing field was truly color blind or reasonably close to it. But the problem begins at the college level and the "scouting services" coming out of high school; the racial makeup of the NFL is the predictable end result of a virulently anti-White system that is still recognized by only a tiny proportion of football fans.

What will come after Jordy to compare with what he's doing? Likely nothing for decades, so currently engrained is the Caste System in the minds of the sports sheeple.

I totally disagree Don. If we want to engage in the old model of conservatives writing lengthy essays and quibbling points with "liberals" yes that is basically a chump's game. If we want to succeed then we will use Fourth Generation Warfare models of delegitimizing the state, in this case the sports culturual Marxist franchise hydra.

The Browns have announced that Hoyer will start this weekend. I'm okay with him starting, he's a serviceable white QB, better than any black QB in the league with the possible exception of Midget Wilson. That said, I would rather see Manziel play when the games mean something. He is not a scatter-shot-armed typical running QB, but a very precise passer with dangerous legs. I would really like to see how months and months of practice in addition to the pre-season games has developed his ability to read defenses and make "pocket passer" 2nd and 3rd option throws. I don't worry about him being mentally fragile like virtually all of the black quarterbacks.

I agree completely about trying new things. No one dislikes the "conservative movement" more than me. My pessimistic statement that the Caste System will stay as is for decades was written with the intention of angering and motivating readers. If I thought the current power structure can't be forced to change, I wouldn't even bother trying. The existence of this site is an attempt to change the status quo, lonely as it may be at this time.
