"Jones may not play because of a heel injury and his agent has been looking around to see if any teams might be interested in him. From Jacksonville Forum"

THANK YOU, I SUPPOSE THERE IS A GOD. Some teams that "should" be interested are each and every 32 teams, haha.

I'd say the Vikings, Cheifs, Raiders, Dolphins, Jets, and Titans should try to get him ASAP to help their terrible WR corps...I'm sure he'll simply go to yet another team with a QB (black or white) who can't get him the ball!

I disagree with the Jets WRs being bad. L.Coles hasn't been as brilliant as in years past, but is still pretty good. Jericho Cotchery is very young and had a good year last year and a monster game today. I'd add the Falcons and the Bears in place of the Jets. The Bears do have some good WRs, but other than Berrian they aren't playing. They have two out of their top 3 WRs either on the practice squad or holding the clip board!

And New Orlenes has no one other than Colston and inexperienced rookie Meachem. And the Chargers have a whole bunch of young guys with potential, but are starting an undrafted stinker as their number two currently.

I hope Jones can get a trade to where he can earn a number one spot with a capable QB throwing to him. I hope teams realize how he is being treated in Jag-Drag Town and that that is what is holding him back. I will be so happy if Jones is traded! The Jags would probably give him up like the idiots that they are for a 4th or 5th round pick! Imagine Jones going on to absolutely dominate the league like Randy Moss with his new team and then speaking out about the Jaguars organization! Maybe some people would see the light of how incompetent that team is!

Edited to Add: I would personally like to see him go to the Chiefs or Dolphins, He could earn playing time fast there and they both have capable QBs that would see the value in throwing him the ball!Edited by: ToughJ.Riggins

Del Rio is typical of a loser looking for a target that is unpopular to shift the blame to. Of course in the popularity contest one of the few white men on the team is singled out. My advice to the owner of this franchise fire Del Rio he is a loser and a bully not a leader and organizer. But he won't be fired and this team will collapse to a losing record and become a laughing stock.

Jones has a very laid back personality. Del Rio is worse than stupid if he thinks Jones is going to transform into one of the screeching, screaming types that fills the NFL.

I admire Jones. First he insisted on being a wide receiver when the caste media and the NFL wanted to make him a tight end, and now he's trying to get out of Jacksonville. Both very smart moves and more than a lot of "humble" white football players would do.

I have heard Jones is on the trading block. Any truth to this fellow castefootballers? They need to get rid of that rascist GM shack harris. I wish the owner would fire both del rio and harris. Jones has been more productive than reggie williams who played wr in college and was picke 10 spots higher than Jones yet Williams does not get the piss poor treatment. The rascism is so obvious. I wish white fans would wake up. Especially down in Jacksonville, isn't that where Skynyrd is from? Do any good ol' boys still live down there? I wish they would start voicing an opinion.

well, i am just reading a hige thread about Matt Jones, 12 pages and counting that was started a couple of days ago with trade rumors. Jags brainwashed fans have so much hatred towards Matt pent up, it's almost unbelievable.

from what i can gather his agent is talking to several teams, and Cowboys might emerge as the team he will go to, since Jerry Jones is reportedly a huge fan of his.

I also remember Gruden being enamored with him at the Senior bowl a few years ago. With Clayton likely on his way out he might end up there as well.

i'd LOVE that move. with Garcia, he would be in good hands.
seeing how Galloway continues to be the only viable passing option for third straight season, and coming to an end of his career, Jones would be a great fit.

here's an article about Jones situation.

He is such an amazing specimen and has not even reached any potential. He has been on a lackluster team with poor coaching and qb play. I wonder how much of his skills at wr and how much are actually the coached technique because I think if he is able to become a great route runner he will be unstoppable. I would not mind to see him in TB just because I think Gruden still has a hard on for him and it would give Garcia another option.

I don't want to see Jones in Dallas w/ Terell Owens already established there as a number one and Glenn still holding up as a number two. Owens is also a big WR and would not compliment Jones well. Tampa would be a better fit, Jones could play alongside Galloway who would compliment Jones nicely being smaller. Jones could take over the number one spot when Galloway retires.

from kffl.com:

Jaguars | Team wants Jones to play better

The Jacksonville Jaguars made WR Matt Jones the emergency quarterback Week 3 because they wanted to send him a message to start playing better or he will continue to be deactivated.

Here's an update on the Jones-Del Rio "feud," from a fantasy football site:

-- Del Rio Apologizes to Matt Jones --
Sat Sep 29, 2007 --from FFMastermind.com
#
The Orlando Sentinel reports Jacksonville Jaguars WR Matt Jones said he and HC Jack Del Rio have patched up their differences, though Jones has no assurances that he won't be deactivated for more games. Jones said Del Rio apologized to him last week for calling attention to his poor "body language" and lackadaisical manner in discussions with the media. "I'm going to do what I have to do to help the team win," Jones said. "If it's not playing that week, a coach's decision, that's what you've got to do. You've got to buy into what the coach is selling. He's the leader of this team. I go into it every week that I'm going to be able to play, that I will play. If he says run up the mountain, you run up the mountain." Jones was inactive against Denver, the first time in his three seasons in the NFL that he was inactive. Jones' agent, Alan Herman, said if Jones continues to be deactivated for games, he'll try to find another team that wants him.--

Is this pathetic or what? Notice that Del Rio didn't "apologize" in public, and if he had, the jock-sniffers at ESPN & Co. would never had aired it. Jones is now adopting the typical, lame white athlete attitude. "Anything for the team, blah, blah, blah." Can you imagine any black WR- even with half the talent of a Matt Jones- sitting still for this kind of mistreatment? It really is hard to root for any of these white players.

If Mike Holgrem was not such a caste whore, Matt would be electric in Seattle. None of the receivers are #1 wide outs and would not start on any other team.

Hassleback and Jones would light it up.

The effects would elevate the hawks to clear No1 in the division.

It's clear to see after week 6 that Matt Jones is no longer wanted by the hideous team Jacksonville Jaguars. Being a white boy in Jacksonville obviously hasn't helped his cause at all. The question is does anyone know or has anyone heard anything about how Matt Jones feels about the current situation and if any other NFL team has shown any interest in him?

I could see him in a Seahawks uniform and I can imagine him and Hasselbeck being a great link, although coming to think of it I find it hard to imagine Mike Holmgren ever purchasing another white skill player. What do you guys think because after seeing Matt Jones highlight video's from college he is a waste of excellent talent. He has his own long strided elusive style which I love.

Here is a report from rotoworld a Fantasy football site"

"Matt Jones caught three passes for 18 yards in Week 6.Impact: Jones was the recipient of three unsuccessful targets in the endzone, two of which bounced off his hands. The home crowd started to boo Jones, who shouldn't be starting on your fantasy squad."

Looks like the DWFs have it in for Matt Jones. BTW, the two so-called drops were well covered lob attempts that would never be called "drops" from black receivers. Most WRs tend to get at least a hand on an end-zone lob, but so do the D-backs. Most fall incomplete. Inserting Jones into the game almost exclusively by the end-zone just gives this play away. All defenses know the play is coming. Edited by: Kaptain Poop

Jones' agent made some noise a few weeks ago about Matt being released or traded if "Black" Jack Del Rio wasn't going to use him. That was right after, on top of everything else, Del Rio publicly ripping the easy going Jones' "body language."

It's hard to say what might happen to him from here in the Caste NFL. The media and drunk white fans have already written him off as a bust despite decent statistics his first two seasons on a terrible passing team. Of course these are the same people who would have given 1,000 to 1 odds that Kevin Walter would never lead the NFL in receiving.

Will a team or two learn from how well white QBs, white tight ends, white o-linemen, white defensive players and white receivers are doing and really give Matt an opportunity in a positive environment rather than a hostile one? Any team that does will be rewarded with a great player. Plaxico Burress finally looks like a star receiver in his eighth season, but he was treated like one and given the opportunity to succeed ever since he was a rookie. Jones has been set up to fail to this point.Edited by: Don Wassall

i have seen twoof these end zone passes, and in no way they could be constructed as drops. no way, no how.

I can tell you for sure that the Falcons receivers or Terrell Owens drop a much higher percentage of their passes than Jones. Jones only had two real drops last year and people acted like it was in double figures. I hate the stupid drunken white fans!

Jones had two drops last season, both in the same game, and it was talked about repeatedly by the jock-sniffers on t.v. Then, he was actually BENCHED because of those two drops! For most black WRs, only two drops in a game is a pretty good performance. I'll say it again- Matt Jones is the poster child for the Caste System. If someone that big and that fast cannot be permitted to play in the league, then whites aspiring to play in the future will have to develop super-powers.

Actually, now that I've thought about it, Jones had three drops last year, but only one was a blatant drop. One drop Jones got sandwiched between two players just as he got his hands on the ball, so I wouldn't really consider that a drop. As bigunreal just mentioned that was in the same game as the blatant drop. The third, so called drop, was a long bomb that he had to really extend his arms for and would have been a tough catch. He had "one" blatant drop and apparently that's enough to destroy his career. It's really sickening

Couldn't have said it better. How dare Del Rio malign Jones in the media for supposed laziness and "wimpy play". Jones was the Jags leading receiver last year in his second year as a WR fighting injuries and QB switches galore. Jones is being made a scapegoat. If I were Jones I would become lazy purposefully if I had to play for that idiot. Even though I'm sure Jones is fed up he is not lazy IMO. He needs to get out of "Jag Drag" town before, they destroy his career! His reputation as a WR is already tarnished from Del Rio's baseless comments and caste treatment!

Over 99 percent of the drunk white fans and media pundits would have ridiculed us for even starting a thread with this title back before the current NFL season began given the much-maligned NFL career thus far of Matt Jones. Yet Jones' rookie year is comparable to that of Johnson's and in some ways better considering that Jones spent his first year as the Jaguars' 3rd and 4th receiver while Johnson was handed a starting position on a silver platter but has suffered from injuries and poor performances on the field.

Johnson with his great measurables has been very ordinary as a wide receiver. But unlike Jones, who has been given up on in his third season after taking much criticism in his second, Johnson can count on many more yearsof beingan automatic starter no matter how poorly he plays.

Jones' first year: 36/432/5

Johnson (through 13 games): 37/553/4

On a recent ESPN segment, they showed the replay of Jones' great TD catch from last week. Caste system spokesman Merrill Hoge reacted to another talking head's comment that Jones had flashed some real big play ability (I think he was black- shocker there) by snorting, "yeah, but not often enough," or something like that. Imagine the nerve of this ultimate white- hating clown- to accuse Matt Jones of not showing his ability often enough, when he has been deactivated for many games, and almost never targeted on the rare occasions he has hit the field.

If Matt Jones doesn't complain publicly about his treatment, and demand out of Jacksonville, then we really have no reason to continue supporting him. If this superb and unprecedented combination of size and speed can be treated this way, then any white player can. What are these white players scared of? Can they be castigated any more in the media than they already are? Matt Jones has been treated horribly, and I actually think that the black talking heads, at least, would respect him if he spoke up for himself.

he is a ''pussy'' like Mike Furrey..i'm gonna shock somebody here but hey that's the truth, do you think that a guys like Shockey would have accept that? I love white guy like Shockey who NEVER back up, he was in a lot of fight vs black in college and that's happen a couple of time in NFL vs Brandon Short..Now Shockey is respected..
Matt Jones should confront Gerrard to have more ball..
