But although Adolf probably didn't know about his own Jewish heritage, I think he couldn't care less about White Gentile lives.

Come on, trying to take Moscow in November and December 1941 against the advice of his top generals after winning all the major battles up until October was pure lunacy, he needlessly sacrificed the lives of many thousands of the bravest and the best German men, many of whom froze to death.

And trying to hold Stalingrad the next year with winter approaching was foolish - once again, several hundred thousand of the best German (also many Hungarian and Romanian) men died needlessly. After that there was really no hope of Germany winning.

Sir, after reading "Hitler's Revolution," (I always suspected something like this but couldn't connect the dots for many years) it's all clear in my head now about why Hitler had to go and WW2. had to happen. The point is/was, after he took Germany off the gold standard and turned it around in 3-4 (by 1936-37) years the entire world was astounded. But the entire world was also still mired in the depression, us included. The cat was out of the bag, it was all due to the Jewish bankers. So the die was cast. WW2 had to happen. One last thing ( Here in America, people like Huey Long and Fr. Coughlin were pointing their fingers at the bankers and a lot of people were listening). The USSR played patty cake with the Jewish bankers from the beginning. Almost the entire top echelon of the original Bolshevik party at the time of the Russian revolution was Jewish. So much for the revolution of the "workers and peasants."

By the way, do you also regret the deaths of American soldiers in Hitler's war? It was pretty cold for American soldiers in the winter of 1944-45.

Thanks for the comment. One of my uncles was in Bastogne when it was surrounded. My father was in Patton's army during the final push into Germany.

The idea that Hitler was a blundering moron who destroyed Germany through sheer incompetence is not a serious take on history.
Hitler was largely right about what kind of war Germany had to fight and would fight on each front they fought. He saved hundreds of thousands of German men in France by defying the conventional thinking of his generals.

The war in Russia was necessary - Russia was getting more powerful at an exponential rate and was preparing to destroy Europe had Hitler (with the backing and agreement of his high command) not invaded Russia.
The war was always going to be tough. Russia was much, much more powerful than anyone knew at the time. This was before the days of modern sophisticated spying. The sheer size of their armies, the tanks they had available - was staggering.

Hitler largely followed the advice of his generals. Sometimes he didn't and was wrong. Sometimes he didn't and was correct. Pinning the failure in Russia on Hitler is a lazy take. It, like many things, depended on a lot of individuals and circumstance.

Good post. Only issue is Lee Zeldin is very much against impeachment. I know he's also very tough against illegal immigration. Of all the Jews in Congress, he might be the best -- although that's not saying a lot? Kind of like being the skinniest fat man in the room?

Also, I'm sure Zeldin's number one priority is Israel. But again, from my perspective, he's the best of the sorry bunch. Fact is, if your typical Lonsmen in power where all similar to Zeldin on border issues, I would not have such negative feelings towards them as a group and this country would be much better off.

Jerusalem rabbi arrested for 'holding women in slavery'

Israeli police have arrested a rabbi who is suspected of holding around 50 women and children in conditions of slavery.

The arrest follows a raid on a complex in Jerusalem, where the alleged victims are believed to have been kept isolated from their families.

The women had been punished in various ways and had money stolen from them, police said.

The suspect, in his 60s, has denied doing anything wrong.

He was detained in an ultra-Orthodox district in central Jerusalem on suspicion of running a "closed community" where women and children "worked under conditions of slavery", police said in a statement.

He and eight female accomplices are suspected of isolating the women in a residential complex, along with children up to the age of five, it added.

"We know that the women and children were there for several months inside the home," police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld is quoted as saying by the Associated Press. "We know that he took their money away from them and was holding them against their will."

Video footage showed bunk beds in cramped living quarters, along with piles of cash.

A two-month investigation was launched after police received reports the religious leader had for years committed "severe offences" against those living at the residence, police said.
