This should make Ms. Ellis from the posts above happy. It appears JaMarcus is totally focused and ready for his next season..... if he's being switched to DT.

From Rotoworld:

JaMarcus Russell reportedly weighed in at 290 pounds when he reported for the Raiders' offseason program.

So Oakland can scratch left tackle off its list of needs. Russell was initially reported to weigh 271, but many close to the situation immediately doubted that report. Russell, annually and incredibly overweight, isn't doing anything to shed his emerging label as the biggest bust in NFL history.

That's the first time I can remember someone from Rotoworld writing something humorous, and about a black yet. Fat Boy may be the best thing that ever happened to Ryan Leaf.

I remember how they busted Jared Lorenzen's chops at UK for holding close to 300 at QB (despite his mobility). Jared was a 3 sport letterman in HS & named "Mr.Football" in Kentucky his Senior year. Jared set UK records in total offense, passing yards, and passing touchdowns before playing for the Giants & Colts (+ Kentucky Horseman of the AF2). I'd take a 285lb Lorenzen over a 250lb DUHmarcus any ol' day!

Ever since the last game of his disasteous 2009 season Jabumbass has gone on baby back rib / popeye chicken gluton feast. Him and dufus entourage have been ripping up the buffets of Vegas and paying big dollar for the Hos and White skanks that populate the sex world of Sin City.

I wonder what is taking Al Davis soooo long to cut this jumbo affelet? Be done already!

Jamarcus Russell Will Not Be Cut, He Will Be GREAT!

by Solomon II

Jamarcus Russell, former #1 overall will be GREAT! SAY WHAT? I know, this article is positive for Jamarcus as Ricky Williams for Marijuana.

With the new O-Line and better WRs Jamarcus will not only beat out Campbell for the starting job but he WILL lead the Oakland Raiders to the playoffs. Gradkowski? Come on now, when he replaced Jamarcus is when Chaz Schilens (best WR on the team) returned from injury.

Jake Delhomme is much more terrible than Jamarcus and you'll see it in Cleveland when he doesn't have Steve Smith, Muhammed and a power run game to make him look good. If, and I mean IF Jamarcus gets cut, he'll end up in Cincinnati (like we didn't see that one coming) and if Jamarcus has weapons like Carson Palmer has, he'll at the very least look like Ryan Fitzpatrick.

I say this with extreme confidence: If you put Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Donavan McNabb, Tom Brady, Tony Romo or Brett Farve on the same teams Jamarcus has had, they would only be good for one more win per season than Jamarcus. Actually they would've begged to be traded and have never shown up. Like a true professional Jamarcus Russell goes into camp and keeps trying to make himself and his team better. Jamarcus is no bust at all, he's been in a bad situation and if he stays in Oakland this year in which he has a legitimate divisional contender, he will prove he's worth every cent of that $60,000,000, a mere half of Albert Haynesworth.

I think the truth is Jamarcus Russell is just like any other man. He needs something that every man on the planet and especially any down home southern boy needs. It's not another QB Coach or offensive coordinator or a scheme change. Jamarcus Russell merely needs a good Mrs. Russell (and not his mom) to whip his ass into shape.

Of course, he has to get his digs in at White players as he promotes his boy-hero JaFatAss like a giddy little schoolgirl. Apparently, Cleveland lacks "a power run game" now that they have acquired power RB, Peyton Hillis, and it's so obvious that JaFatAss will end up in Cincy since Carson Palmer clearly sucks.

Really? Is that why JaFatAss showed up at camp weighing 300lbs, because he's a "professional"? Perhaps he's a professional at eating bacon double-cheeseburgers with extra mayo.

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/385521-jamarcus-russell-will-not-be-cut-he-will-be-great</font></div>Ahhh, yes, what JaFatAss (and, apparently, all other men) needs more than anything else is a contemporary American woman to dominate and physically abuse him because he has no self-control to get in shape himself.

Once again, when it comes to a black player or black person in America, in general, there's always an excuse for their behavior and it is always the fault or responsibility of someone else.

This giddy little schoolgirl, masquerading as a sportswriter, was probably first in line to buy the jersey of JaFatAss when he was selected as the first pick in the draft and is now trying to justify the amount of money blown on him, just like Al Davis did, on this future "Franchise" black quarterback.

To be a fair as humanly possible, Russell did land on a perennially pathetic franchise. That said, he hasn't worked hard (he's been 300+ lbs for several years), he hasn't shown leadership or humility (like the time he drove through Raiders fans in his Rolls Royce and shouted obscenities and that "he's rich"Â￾), and he hasn't produced on the field whatsoever. His poor play alone wouldn't be deserving of such scorn, but his arrogance and extremely lethargic work ethic make him the perfect candidate for "Biggest NFL Bust."Â￾ Even legitimate caste worms like ESPN's Tony Kornheiser were referring to him as such.

The rumor is that Jamarcus is at 300 lbs as I write this and when the Raiders do cut him, why would any other NFL team pick him up? He's the biggest joke around figuratively and literally and even the DWF's know it. Ryan Leaf should be no longer at the top of any QB bust list.

TubMarcus is a true professional huh? Where has this guy been the last two years? Oh yeah, he's been huffing Russell's jock strap and getting high off the fumes.

Oh my, if Russell can be a great QB, I could be a HOF at QB.

If Russel he should supplant Leaf as the top QB bust of all time, at least they won't have clips of him blowing his top at reporters to show over and over again into eternity. Hmmm, so what do they have on film to show what a bum he is. Let me think. Oh, I know! Just about any clip of him trying to play quarterback ought to get the message across. Edited by: The Hock

ESPN article.

"Russell won only seven of his 25 starts as the Raiders extended an NFL-worst streak to seven straight seasons with at least 11 losses. He completed just 52.1 percent of his passes in his career with 18 touchdowns, 23 interceptions, 15 lost fumbles and a passer rating of 65.2.

That means Russell has been paid more than $5 million per win, more than $2 million per touchdown pass and more than $100,000 per completion."

Goes to show even the most hyped affeletic charade comes to an end. Does anyone know, but I think he got a 30 million signing bonus (good job Al) he will surely goes down as the biggest NFL bust of all time. Now, it is just a matter of time before he commits some sort of felony. I don't think any NFL team wants any part of him. He will now begin the typical journey of an ex-affeletic career and cause hate and discontent where ever he lands.

The only question remaining is how fast he can burn through the cash and end up in the gutter. My guess is no more than three yrs.

The media and DWFs are madly in love with Campbell since the trade. I can't wait for him to be the next Great Black Hope to disappoint. As if he hasn't already, but that's right, poor Jason

and all those offensive coordinators he's had to suffer through.

Campbell will perform poorly in Oakland. Zach Miller is by far the best offensive weapon on that team. If Heyward-Bey is still the starter he will have a poor season just like in 2009. I doubt draft pick Jacoby Ford will help much.

and the countdown begins to see which team will "give another chance" to this "phenomenally gifted" individual who "just needs a chance" with "the right system" ...

any takers on who will sign this super-sized loser? and how long before the race card gets played by the afro-action commentators on the NFL network?

I turned on (E)xaggeration of the (S)ports (P)erformance of (N)egroes- (for humor's sake only, since I'm not Spanish) earlier (ESPN) and even they were talking about where Russell ranks on the all time bust list.

After I saw Russell regress even further at the beginning of last season and heard about all his laziness and lack of conditioning, even I was quick to jump on board with all you fellow posters who were a bit ahead of my curve! A few games into last season and I was seeing a BIG TIME BUST. He may be one black that DWFs can use just enough brain power to remember, along with Ryan Leaf and supposed "huge" busts Brian Bosworth and Mike Mamula.

I don't know- Bubble Butt did look good for LSU against Notre Dame in the Bowl game I saw, but maybe Jamarcus can't cut it in the NFL...

LSU versus Notre Dame in that Sugar Bowl was such a mismatch that DuhMarcus was merely the recipient. NFL is not about chucking the ball up to wide-open receivers who blow by their defenders. Russell is a thrower, but not a passer. He is lost when he has to think quickly. His lack of true QB talent is compounded by his flaky character.

NFL Scout / Fox NFL Analyst Chris Landry warned teams away from DuhMarcus Russell. The Raiders will pay for a long time because they did not listen.

Right on the money.
