Not really about high school but I was sad to see that Brody Buffington was charged with a d.u.i. recently. They barely ran him his entire freshman year. Now after this he may be punished and not see much track time. What a sad situation. Hope he learns from it. He is too talented to throw his career down the drain!

Andrew Ernst ran a 21.58 200-meter and had a long jump of 23'11.75" on 1/3/25
Jesse Myers ran a 21.36 200 on 12/18/24
Sam Mitas ran a 21.68 200 and a 6.89 60 meters on 11/21/24

Since the Texas Relays were this weekend, it made me wonder what happened to this super speedy, 2 time state champion.
Well, she graduated last year and is attending Tarleton State University (never heard of it), and is playing soccer, but not running track!
And so it goes with some of our athletes....

Well it turns out that Victoria is indeed running track (and playing soccer) at Tarleton State.
She ran a speedy 7.19 in the semi-finals of the 60m at a meet at Texas Tech. She DNS in the finals.
Glad she has not given up the sport.

Ryan Dierenfield ran a 6.66 60 meter on 2-2-25.
Connor Salmin ran a 6.35 55 meter on 1-25-25. He is also a 4-star WR in football.
Jessie Meyer ran a 21.16 200 meter on 1-11-25.
