In case You are wondering, Lukas Podolski and Per Mertesacker aren't the only Germans in the Arsenal squad. Another "German" made his senior Gunners' debut in Saturday's loss to Norwich. Allow me to present the 17-year old, Stuttgart-born Serge Gnabry:

i read on wikipedia that he's a sprinter, so i guess that he's a replacement for walcott?

There is a guy who wrote an article on Bleacher Report talking about underrated players, He had Lallana and Jenskinson on there. Hopefully, Jenkenson can play right back in a year or 2 for England and Lallana can play left wing.

He also mentioned Ricky Lambert and leon Britton. Britton is small but skillful according to wiki, so that means he will be overlooked by Prem teams and England.

He also mentions Schneiderlin.

He also said Baines is the best left back in the Prem.

How about Baines and Jenskison at fullbacks and Lallana at left wing for England.

i'm surprised that jenkinson doesn't already plays in the national team

schnederlin is definitely underrated

i am also not suprised to see a scandinavian defender in the list (jonas olsson) because there are almost no scandinavian players in the top premiere league club, which is a mistake (except agger, who's one of the best defenders in europe)

otherwise, it's silly to have japanese players from bundesliga and arab players from spanish liga in that list, they can't be underrated
it doesn't means that they can't be good, but they are overrated
for the japanese players in the german league, it's very well known that they are there to raise interest in japan: http://www.castefootball.us/forums/...dern-Football!?p=250874&viewfull=1#post250874
for the arab players in the spanish league, it's lesser known, but i have a thread about it (arab influence in real madrid)
the arab player in his list is actually from france
there are countless arab players in the spanish league who are from france
i can think of adil rami, benzema, feghouli, this barrada guy, mehdi lacen, ect
they have to be at least 50% of the players trained in france playing in la liga, while blacks are 80% in french training grounds
in england there are more black and white french players for example, and few arabs
so obviously they want arab players, the same way the german clubs want asian players

he's right to mention michu from swansea, he scores a lot , he's the top scorer of the league so far

regarding the list of the most underrated players, i forgot to comment about steven pienaar, the black player from south africa
if you remember i told you that for me he was the best black player right now:

currently i'd say that the most talented black middlefielder might be pienaar, but he's not fully black (his name is the afrikaner way to write the french name pinard) and he's not good enough to play as offensive middlefielder in a top club
also he comes from south africa, a place where the development of the black players is not the same as described in the article

http://www.castefootball.us/forums/...-with-physique?p=259161&viewfull=1#post259161

so i'm not surprised to see him in that list

if the african players weren't in european clubs, he would be a star on his continent, a legend
but since so many european clubs buy token african players (usually dfensive middlefielders or fullbacks) he's underrated compared with other african players
no top european club in his right mind would want an african playmaker when they can have a token black defensive middlefilder and a truly world class playmaker
so that's why from an african point of view, pienaar is way underrated

zambia, who won the latest african cup of nations, is close to south africa
like south africa, they are not linked with european clubs (unlike cameroon, senegal, nigeria) so they don't focus on the physique in youth development, that's why they are better than cameroon nigeria ect, even though they don't have any known player: their players won't play in big european clubs because they are not bodybuilders; when top european clubs look for a token black player they want a big defensive middlefielder, not a playmaker

There isn't a single Arsenal game I missed in my entire life,so let me tell you this:

Jenkinson is the best option England have at RB as of today. But they will not play him, because the other options are black-Glen Johnson and Kyle Walker.

Jenkinson was actually supposed to be the English,Right back version of Giroud, but somewhere the Jew's script went wrong and Jenkinson has shown what a rawly talented young white lad can do with passion, desire when given a chance.

FFS,this guy was playing non-league football 15 months ago!

Man City do not look like champions. They are playing like they don't care. If it weren't for a moment of inspiration from Tevez it would be Man City 0 Swansea 0 after 80 minutes. Tevez wasn't even supposed to get the ball - it was being passed to someone else - but Tevez took it, settled it down, then scored from outside the box. Balotelli has done nothing.

i'm surprised that jenkinson doesn't already plays in the national team

Apparently he has recently expressed a preference to represent Finland rather than England on international level. However, I won’t be surprised if he changes his mind, as the lad is likely to soon register on Roy Hodgson’s radar if he continues with his strong performances for Arsenal.

schnederlin is definitely underrated

He is a solid player; hopefully he will be able to break into the French team...

i am also not suprised to see a scandinavian defender in the list (jonas olsson) because there are almost no scandinavian players in the top
premiere league club, which is a mistake (except agger, who's one of the best defenders in europe)

Evian Thonon Gaillard FC in the French League has many Danish players on its roster...I think that this club has been punching above its weight. A number of years ago there were quite a few prominent Icelandic footballers (Helguson, Gudjohnsen, Gudni Bergsson, Steinssson) in the Premier League and Iceland have recently been very successful at the U-21 and U-19 level (regularly qualifying for Euro championships), but surprisingly their young footballers haven’t attracted a lot of attention.

Unfortunately, Frank Lampard won’t be available for Chelsea’s upcoming match against Manchester United. As for John Terry, I read some reports that FC Valencia was interested in him, but I think that he will stay in England (the storm surrounding the racism row should soon die down).

Pienaar is an example of an underrated black player

Pienaar has caught my attention as well, he was a key player for South Africa during the 2010 World Cup and his range of passing is quite good....Gabonese players like Aubameyang are also somewhat underrated.

As for Kagawa (who was mentioned in the Arab influence in Real Madrid thread), time will show whether he has been a shrewd signing for United, but I have to say that Dortmund’s performances in the Bundesliga have deteriorated quite a bit now that the Japanese is no longer with them (Gundogan hasn’t been an effective replacement, though there are of course additional reasons why Dortmunders have fallen into a slump – key figures like Goetze and Lars Bender haven’t seen regular playing time and are still regaining their fitness).

i think that rebajlo said recently that jenkinson wanted to play for england, that's why he counts him as an englishman now in the breakdowns

iceland is even starting to be pretty dangerous in europe
in the qualifyings to the 2014 world cup, they won against albania and norway!
that's really impressive, and it wasn't even a surprise
we (the french national team) played a friendly match against iceland recently: http://youtu.be/1UquQt2s1DA
iceland could have won (they won actually, because in a friendly match only the first 60-70 minutes make sense, after that there are too many substitutions in friendly matches so it's no longer significant - giroud came in in the last 10 minutes and saved france with 2 assists)
the commentators were saying the same as you, that their youth teams are very good, and that they were going to try to be dangerous in the qualifyings to the 2014 world cup

i think that for dortmund, we don't have to look any further than their results in champions league to understand why they struggle in their domestic league
they might be the top european team with the less players in its roster
when you have this few players, you can't do well in both national and european competition, it's impossible, you have to choose between the 2

last year at the same point of the competition, they already had lost to marseille (who were dreadfull in the french league) and olympiakos
this year, they won against ajax and real madrid, and they almost beat manchester city (they deserved to win and did 1-1)

that's why they struggle a little bit more in their league

Gabonese players like Aubameyang are also somewhat underrated.

he is more skilled than people think (usually everybody mention his speed more) but he doesn't seem very intelligent in his passes
he might be one of the best players of the french league right now - if we forget about PSG

maybe they expect that there will be changes in the team, maybe mancini will be fired?

i watched arsenal's match
arsenal won starting 9 whites, 1 black and 1 mestizo
but they played too slowly, the midfileders were holding the ball too long before passing it

it might be because there are so many new players in the team - wilshere came back and was titular for example
maybe it will take a little more time to arsenal for being able to really play like a team
so it might hurt them this season in premiere league
but in champions league, it doesn't matter if you lose one match or two in the group stages, as long as you are ready in the second part of the year...i really think that arsenal will be dangerous in champions league

giroud had very few balls, but the only goal of the match happened because of him, on a cross by arshavine (who came in because gervinho injuried himself)

But Arteta's winner, which came after Hoops keeper Julio Cesar magnificently saved Olivier Giroud's header at the start of a goalmouth scramble, moves Arsenal into fourth in the Premier League table.

so i hope that the english media and the arsenal fans will stop using him as a scapegoat, because obviously he's not the problem, arsenal looked uninspired against schalke in champions league too, and he didn't start this match
arsenal needs patience

and wilshere: what a talent!
that's one of the first times i see him play

Sagna played for Jenkinson or it would have been 10 whites. Sagna may leave the club according to the announcers.

Look at this video of Arsenal's goal against Barcelona. At the 30 second mark look at the pass the Arsenal player makes. I don't know if it's Sagna or not.

I'm glad Wilshere's back. He made the pass to Fabrgas who made the long pass to Nasri.

Well you will continue to get surprised.
Two years ago Wilshere played in a match against Barca in the CL.

The central midfield players that day were:Xavi,Fabregas,Song,Iniesta,Busquets,Wilshere.

Not only did Wilshere hold his own,he ran Arsenal's midfield.

Linesman's mistake costs Liverpool a win against Everton as Suarez was onside. Just about every match in every league plus internationals has an incorrectly called offside or a non-call on what should be offside.

They have to use instant replay. I am getting sick of these calls.

It could have been offside on the Arsenal goal yesterday.

it's not the first time liverpool gets robbed by the refereeing this season

i wasn't that surprised, because europe mentionned him many times before, and i went to see youtube videos of him
hopefully the referees will protect him, on many occasions there were hard tackles by the QPR defenders on him
i was afraid to see him injuried
but all went well, because gervinho was the one to be injuried

You too have seen the Arsenal match right?
Trust me,had Gervinho not got injured,Arsenal wouldn't have won the match.

yes, i watched it

i also watched chelsea-manchester united
it was a great match, chelsea offered 2 goals early in the match, but managed to draw 2-2 in second half

too bad that the refereeing changed the match
i'm not saying that the refereeing was bad , but it changed the match and this result doesn't mean anything
hopefully these 3 points won't be the ones that allow manchester united to win the title by the end of the season

You've seen that too....so how about making a gif of Antonio "best winger in the PL" Valencia horrid horrid miss towards the end??:heh:

But how good are the trio of Mata,Hazard and Oscar(!!!).Hell,if they had two decent white midfielders behind them, they'd give Barca a run for their money!

Well,you said it:they LOVE that kind of a winger:nod:.
I mean the patronizing of these kind of wingers is unbelievable.:frusty:
But the reason is obvious:these kind of wingers are all black.
Walcott,Nani,Valencia,Ashley Young,Malouda,Victor Moses,Shaun Wright-Phillips,Scott Sinclair...I can go on all day long.

All of them are fast, granted, but nothing more. They consistently do the same thing:run by the touchline, make a yard of space(thanks to their pace) and deliver an absolutely hopeless cross every single time!
The cross normally pings off the first defender and goes out into touch.Never do they deliver a cross into a good area or right onto a teammate's head!

speaking about useless wingers, a former arsenal player defended olivier giroud:
Former-Arsenal left-back Nigel Winterburn has revealed he thinks the Gunners wide players are letting Olivier Giroud down with their poor service.
The Arsenal legend blamed the Frenchman's lack of goals on the poor quality of the balls into the striker, rather than on any prolifigacy on the part of Giroud.

The France international signed from Ligue 1 champions Montpellier in the summer, but the forward has only managed one Premier League goal so far this season.

Still, Winterburn says the likes of Theo Walcott and Gervinho are to blame for Giroud's barren run.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Winterburn said: "If you're playing with a player like Giroud, who is not as quick or mobile as some players they've had up front previously, you have to vary it, get balls out wide, take players on and get crosses into the box.
"I don't think Arsenal are playing to Giroud's strengths and I've been disappointed with the wide players in the last couple of games. I don't think they've produced the quality we expect from them."

http://www.givemefootball.com/premier-league/arsenal-legend-says-dont-blame-olivier-giroud

giroud scored his only goal of the season on a cross by podolsky:
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xu7ate_olive_creation

he also scored in cup in the incredible come back by arsenal against reading, a header on a corner kick, his 3rd goal of the season

he also scored from a cross against spain with the french national team:

i think that giroud is now confident, he won't miss easy oportunities like he did in the first few matches of the season

arshavine is definitely better than gervinho, who never crosses
he did a cross after coming in (because of gervinho's injury) and giroud did a great header which led to arsenal's only goal:

http://youtu.be/BsMd8IaJW3Q

hopefully he'll play more because of gervinho's injury

Gervinho cannot cross!Let alone provide a pin-point cross,he cannot get the ball to travel in the air for a considerable distance. But 99% of the people will people will say Gervinho is better(!) or make lame excuses like he still has to settle in England or that he is going through a bad patch! They'll make these excuses a year later too!
