Owen Hargreaves has to be the best Canadian player. He played fro England, but was born in Canada. He has to be at least one of the all time best Canadians.

Well, not too many clubs require Hodgson's "services". Despite his own claims to the contrary, his overall record - with some Scandinavian exceptions - hasn't been all that impressive. He likes to point to his tenure with Switzerland as evidence of his top-draw coaching prowess, but the "Hodgson era" just happened to coincide with the best years of that nation's greatest ever crop of players: Stephane Chapuisat, Alain Sutter, Ciriaco Sforza, and Adrian Knup.

All in all, Hodgson isn't up to the task of managing teams which have high expectations. Given England's qualification group and how the matches have panned out thus far, making it to the 2014 World Cup finals shouldn't be a problem (although one never knows...). But beyond that I believe he'll be dumped from the job following an even more below-par than usual performance in Brazil. In my opinion, an increasingly black England playing a tournament in South America under "master coach" Hodgson are second round material at most.

Yes, and even they received quite a hiding from a not particularly good Spanish team in the Second Round of the 1994 World Cup. To me Hodgson has always been a journeyman. That he has made it to England manager is quite funny, unless you're an England supporter. On a side note it wouldn't surprise me at all if does not actually speak all the languages commentators claim he is fluent in.

Men with patently disastrous records are often employed by club after club, presiding over predictably bad transfers, predictably bad tactics and otherwise preventable relegations, yet still "earning" buckets of money for years or even decades of failure. The lower leagues are full of such wastes of space, who are major contributors to the parlous state in which English football finds itself.

Of the better-known names, just think Mick McCarthy, Roy McFarland, and Bryan Robson...

It's unfortunate that a "whiter" Arsenal has thus far failed to deliver the goods. I can imagine the lagered-up Arsenal "faithful" reminiscing about the days when their team was loaded with "black talent" and blaming everything on an oversupply of "slow white geezers".

The worst thing would be if Wenger signs a Negro or two, puts them straight into the starting eleven and Arsenal begin to win more matches and move up the table, such a distasteful turn of events inevitably providing additional fuel for the great "caste" furnace...

Take note Chelsea,this is what you get with a white midfield. I honestly think that if Chelsea could replace Mikel,Ramires with two decent players who can actually play football,they'd be a great team. Mikel especially is a very poor footballer.But most sports "experts" oversee his poor footballing ability as he is a "defensive midfielder" and praise him for being strong,athletic,the usual....blah,blah,blah.

arsenal have a good oportunity of climbing up in the table
they'll play at reading and at wigan before christmas, and then they'll play against west ham at home the day after christmas
now that they qualified for the next round of the champions league and that they got the carling cup out of the picture, they can focus on those important matches
i hope that they'll start with a win at reading
i also hope that gervinho will feel comfortable on the bench

now i want a victory for arsenal before christmas against wigan
they can go back in the top 4, where they belong, instead of the tottenham coal factory (the only reason why tottenham is 4th right now is because they don't play champions league, unlike arsenal who focused on qualifying for the next round of champions league)
