Good points Freedom.With the exception of linebackers,o-line,and qb's,white football players are almost always shunned to the later rounds no matter what their talent level is.Hass led the nation in receiving and was in the top 3 last year.He has been the most consistant wide receiver in the nation.What has he done wrong other than having the wrong skin pigmentation?We can only hope that soon the scouts,coaches & owners will open their eyes to the talent that these kids possess.

ESPN had a draft show today with Kiper, Schlereth, Woodson and Kolber. A.J. Hawk was on for a banal interview with Kolber. After it was over Schlereth gave it as his opinion that Hawk was too "tight in the hips" to be of any use in pass coverage. Woodson disagreed. This hip thing has just gotten weird.

So has Kolber's hair...I really dislike her. I find her very annyoing for some reason. They are just nit picking with Hawk since he has no real flaws they have to find something. Every LB needs big guys up front in order to operate smoothly...its football and Schlereth should know better. Hawk will be a very good pro.

Why is this hip thing brought up with white players? Ray Lewis doesn't look all that flexible and isn't known for his speed or pass coverage. I'd would rather have a linebacker who can deliver a hit and bring down down a runner. I'd rather see Hawk punish a defender than concentrate on pass coverage like Deion Sanders.

ESPN Insider has an article posted about how "character concerns can haunt players" when it comes to the draft.

What a crock of you know what. This is the same leagueof which a quarter of its players have criminal records, according to a book published a few years ago by an establishment writer. And those of course are only the ones who have been caught and "punished."


As long as I-A college programs refuse to recruit qualified whites at most positions, instead pandering to the group that commits most of the serious crimes in this country, the NFL willcontinue to employan inordinate amount of criminals and thugs. And for those who doubt such discrimination could possibly exist in the sacred realm of sports, just look at howDuke's white lacrosse players are being persecuted on a daily basis while the ongoing epidemic of black-on-white race crimes is totally ignored by the same media. The racial playing field is tilted against whites in all areas of society, and sports is hardly an exception.

Some team will probably be stupid enough to draft him in the top 10, if not the top 5, but if there's any justice, he should fall much lower than Aaron Rodgers did in last year's draft.

However at HB and CB I can't quite get there. Basically, I am using an average of 8 Draft Sources (Scott Wright, Sporting News, Scout.com, Great Blue North, Draft Daddy, Footballs Future, Draft Consensus & NFL Draft Exchange) to come to my rankings. My personal opinion is that the only Non-Caste positions are QB, OT & C. The rest show a definite propensity to rank Black players of equal or lesser measurables much higher then Whites.

Real nice job Reclaimsocal. Lots of good talent. One name who seems to be really popular that you missed is Nick Turnbull. In all honesty he is the one DB that probably has the best chance of getting drafted. It seems both cleveland and jacksonville have alot of interest in him. I really think next year more white dbs will be drafted. Zbikowski and Weddle are both first day picks and Weddle has a real good chance at being a CB. All in all nice list and lets hope a good amount of them get drafted next weekend.

Yeah Florida International DB Nick Turnbull will get drafted and he looks like a real good player and has both stats and good attirbutes to go along with him. Draftdaddy does a good job of hyping him up and giving good reports on Turnbull.

Nick Turnbull would lie between Lorello and Simpson at #6 on the Safety list according to my average rankings. I must have overlooked him when pulling all of the info together.

Note this isn't my opinion as to who will be drafted where, its just a compilation of data that I have averaged out from various sources. There may be some others who I overlooked, simply because I didn't have the resources to fully determine race. Google images can only get you so far
