My guess is that he's Jewish or ajust asmart-ass White ultra-liberal, knows the board he posts on is a totally protectedDWF zone, and gets his jollies by laying on Caste logic to its ultimate extreme, knowing that the posters are either in basic agreement or too racially castrated to even mildly criticize him.

it wouldn't surprise me if that were Dan Snyder himself posting, because he roster moves in real life aren't much different.

snow, Chris Conte played some CB for Cal before last year. CB Pete Ittersagen from Wheaten was on the Titans Practice Squad last year. He showed lock down ability in preseason against some NFL caliber WRs. Other than those guys it's just Weddle and Gregory really unless you want to bring back Dustin Fox, (who even today could probably get back in game shape/film study shape and be a solid 2nd CB).

ha, rotoworld and their underhanded compliments...

The Washington Post gets "the sense" that SS LaRon Landry (Achilles', hamstring) isn't close to returning at full strength anytime soon.

Landy is one of the most talented and effective safeties in the game, but hasn't played since Week 10 of last season. Reed Doughty is a reasonable replacement as he kicks O.J. Atogwe to the strong side, but he's not the difference-maker Landry is.

While Doughty will be long remembered for "giving up" the game-tying 4th down touchdown catch to Andre Johnson last season, resulting in one of NFL Network's "Top receiving touchdowns of 2010," Doughty has a great sense for the football. Even in that catch, he had the receiver well covered, just didn't win the jump ball. Doughty led in tackles in the game, and will continue to do so in his perpetual backup role on the Redskins.

oh, our friends at rotoworld will not let us forget:

The Redskins have ruled out SS LaRon Landry (groin) for Week 14.

The Skins will turn to coverage liability Reed Doughty, which could be problematic against New England's No. 2-ranked passing offense. Landry is out indefinitely, and the Redskins have given no timetable for him to return.

Whats problematic is sending the Gronk up against non-tackling coverage corners. Thank you Dan Snyder.
