Good signings on the oline shame they will be protecting an over the hill looking Wilson.
I agree with a blurb for once when it comes to analyzing the Stidham signing. Can't see the Broncos being overly patient with Wilson again this season if he doesn't improve from how bad he was last year:Good signings on the oline shame they will be protecting an over the hill looking Wilson.
It was remarked on the draft thread about the Broncos trending less Caste, and that's certainly the case. Their current depth chart lists a snow plow at o-line (quite a transformation in and of itself), Greg Dulcich at TE, and Michael Burton when they use a fullback. On defense are the two great inside linebackers Josey Jewell and Alex Singleton. It remains to be seen where Drew Sanders plays. Ideally they use him outside instead of displacing Jewell or Singleton.
So that's 9 White starters right there even with Russell Wilson still the starter at QB, and his position isn't guaranteed at all if he struggles badly again with the talented Jarrett Stidham waiting in the wings.
Not ideal given the starter at QB and no White receivers on the roster, but still a noticeable improvement from the depths plumbed by the allegedly drunken and disheveled Elway in his last years.
Ha, I did forget about Riley. When he becomes a starter it will automatically make the Broncos a team worth rooting for.Your missing one of the key pieces. Riley Moss who will hopefully become a starter sooner than later at the cornerback position. Exciting
times indeed. I still remember the old days when Christian McCaffreys dad was an excellent wide receiver for the Broncos!
Well said Don.Riley Moss was just as screwed over in track after high school as he was in football, even more so really. From an article:
As a sprinter and hurdler for Ankeny (Iowa) Centennial High School, Moss broke out during his last two years. He took down the the Iowa state record in the 110-meter dash at the 2018 Drake Relays with a 13.85-second time in a preliminary run and won numerous meets as began to hone his craft.
“(Moss) was aggressive in the hurdles, and his flat sprint speed was coming along,” Centennial track coach Nate Smith said. “It was unbelievable.”
“As high school went on, he emerged as a hurdler,” said former Penn State kicker Jake Pinegar, who ran with Moss since middle school.
Unfortunately, Moss’ success as a hurdler wasn’t enough to attract interest from recruiters.
“I didn’t hear from a single track team anywhere,” he said, adding that he would have ran track and played football in college if he could. “I didn’t get the opportunity. And that’s fine.”![]()
Cornerback Riley Moss overcame odds to make it to Broncos: “This guy had something special”
On a recent Saturday afternoon in Dove Valley where the forecast instantly went from warm and sunny to windy and needing a jacket, Riley Moss was in his element.www.denverpost.com
No, it's not fine, but what else can he say in this virulently anti-White country? He knows he needs to stay humble and wait his turn to play cornerback and then excel as a supposed once in a generation "outlier" when we know he should be one of many.
