Broncos with 2 more good moves today.

Signing top 3-4 DE Zach Allen away from the detestable Cardinal organization. 3 years and 48 million!! 32.5 of it guaranteed so he got paid.

The other move was resigning the criminally underrated Alex Singleton. He finally gets a multi year deal. 3 years and 18 million.

The Broncos defense should be really good with Jewell, Singleton and Allen.

Singleton was signed to a dirt cheap contract even by NFL standards. He may be the best LB in the league on a per snap basis, but Whites are often signed to lesser contracts compared to Blacks at the same position. Not that anyone in the corporate sports media cares of course.

At least we can still enjoy duel tackling machines Singleton and Jewell cleaning up in the middle of the field for at least one more season.

Good signings on the oline shame they will be protecting an over the hill looking Wilson.
I agree with a blurb for once when it comes to analyzing the Stidham signing. Can't see the Broncos being overly patient with Wilson again this season if he doesn't improve from how bad he was last year:

(dynastyleaguefootball) The Broncos have signed former Raiders quarterback Jarrett Stidham.
Analysis: The Broncos reel in Stidham on a two-year deal worth $10 million. The former Raider and Patriot has looked more than capable in limited work and should give the Broncos a bit of a safety net should Russell Wilson continue to face plant. This has the looks of a sneaky good signing for Denver, who was also reportedly interested in Jameis Winston. While Stidham is no real threat to challenge Wilson for the starting job initially, he at least gives the Broncos some insurance if things go from bad to worse. Stidham is currently unranked, but he could sneak into the top 40 at the position now that we know where he'll be playing.

There's alot of money guaranteed in Wilson that's the only thing but yes hopefully it won't stop them turning to Stidham as they have invested plenty in free agency to improve the team!

Fullback Michael Burton is reuniting with Sean Payton in Denver which should result in a couple of touches a game for him. He was unstoppable on short yardage runs in 2021 for the Chiefs but for some reason his role decreased in 2022.

It was remarked on the draft thread about the Broncos trending less Caste, and that's certainly the case. Their current depth chart lists a snow plow at o-line (quite a transformation in and of itself), Greg Dulcich at TE, and Michael Burton when they use a fullback. On defense are the two great inside linebackers Josey Jewell and Alex Singleton. It remains to be seen where Drew Sanders plays. Ideally they use him outside instead of displacing Jewell or Singleton.

So that's 9 White starters right there even with Russell Wilson still the starter at QB, and his position isn't guaranteed at all if he struggles badly again with the talented Jarrett Stidham waiting in the wings.

Not ideal given the starter at QB and no White receivers on the roster, but still a noticeable improvement from the depths plumbed by the allegedly drunken and disheveled Elway in his last years.

Your missing one of the key pieces. Riley Moss who will hopefully become a starter sooner than later at the cornerback position. Exciting
times indeed. I still remember the old days when Christian McCaffreys dad was an excellent wide receiver for the Broncos!

Sean Payton is one of the few coaches with the cajones and credibility to draft and start Riley Moss. From what I’ve seen, Moss will be competing with last year’s 4th round pick, Damarri Mathis, for the 2nd CB spot across from Patrick Surtain.

Ha, I did forget about Riley. When he becomes a starter it will automatically make the Broncos a team worth rooting for.

I'm happy for Riley Moss but Sean Payton was a caste disciple in New Orleans. He's the guy that screwed over Mike Hass who would have been a truly generational player had he been given the opportunity. Life as a white receiver on Payton's Saints teams was not unlike that of the Steelers. As Don Wassall put it: nasty, brutish, and short. I don't expect it to be any different for the cornerback position. I hope I'm wrong though.

Drew Sanders and Riley Moss already shining:

Which of the Denver Broncos rookies from the draft stood out?

Local media received access to Saturday’s practice in Dove Valley and everybody had their eyes on Denver’s five draft picks.

One player who stood out like a sore thumb was third-round linebacker Drew Sanders. Sanders’ 6’5 size and rangy athleticism were on display from the start of practice until the end — both on defense and special teams.

During one of the team periods, Sanders read tryout quarterback Ben DiNucci’s eyes on a pass play and jumped the route for a pick-six. The rookie linebacker’s ability to diagnose plays was evident during Saturday’s rookie minicamp, whether that was reading run or pass and then taking the appropriate angles to put himself in position against the run or dropping back in coverage against the pass.

Not only does Sanders have the athleticism to make impact plays, but his football intellect allows him to read and react in a timely manner. It’s safe to say that he was the best overall player on the field from an eye-test perspective.

Rookie cornerback Riley Moss also stood out at cornerback and during Denver’s special teams period — he has all of the athletic traits and decent size to play corner in the NFL and be an impact player on the special teams side of the ball.

Moss showcased comfortability in coverage, adjusting to the splits of opposing wide receivers, and communicating on the field to help his teammates regarding formation.

Riley Moss was just as screwed over in track after high school as he was in football, even more so really. From an article:

As a sprinter and hurdler for Ankeny (Iowa) Centennial High School, Moss broke out during his last two years. He took down the the Iowa state record in the 110-meter dash at the 2018 Drake Relays with a 13.85-second time in a preliminary run and won numerous meets as began to hone his craft.

“(Moss) was aggressive in the hurdles, and his flat sprint speed was coming along,” Centennial track coach Nate Smith said. “It was unbelievable.”

“As high school went on, he emerged as a hurdler,” said former Penn State kicker Jake Pinegar, who ran with Moss since middle school.

Unfortunately, Moss’ success as a hurdler wasn’t enough to attract interest from recruiters.

“I didn’t hear from a single track team anywhere,”
he said, adding that he would have ran track and played football in college if he could. “I didn’t get the opportunity. And that’s fine.”

No, it's not fine, but what else can he say in this virulently anti-White country? He knows he needs to stay humble and wait his turn to play cornerback and then excel as a supposed once in a generation "outlier" when we know he should be one of many.

Well said Don.

Unfortunately that’s the response Riley has to give, as he likely knows the score and has to play good goy to get his limited opportunity. I think he’ll succeed, but like CMac he’ll just be viewed as an outlier. Maybe DeJean nipping at his heels and Shipley coming at the RB can further break the narrow mold….

I think the mold is slowly but surely being broken… I also posit they know this and that is why they are hell-bent on darkening the quarterback.

Shipley and Steele are far too talented to ignore or cut like Borghi was (and I would argue Borghi’s biggest mistake was his choice of colleges).

I don’t like how the qb position has been artificially darkened however it does present us an opportunity to highlight the contrast of talent. Besides half white Mahomes, there’s nothing special. Hurts will be slightly above mediocre at best, the 3 quotas drafted this year will all be busts to one degree or another, trey lance already is one, Lamar and Dak are declining below average qb’s, R Wilson shouldn’t even be in the league anymore, and Geno Smith LOL. People will see who the teams playing for titles will be and they will still have white qb’s and maybe some DWF’s will think to themselves why don’t we get a white qb. Burrow, Allen, Lawrence, Herbert, Purdy, Jones, Mac Jones (or Zappe who I love) with a competent OC, and a year from now Drake Maye. I welcome the debate and look forward to red pilling some DWF’s

The Broncos are a team that's changing quite a bit in a direction CFers should like. As of now they project an all-White o-line, have a possible star tight end in second year player Greg Dulcich, and besides the super tandem of Singleton and Jewell at ILB, they drafted both Drew Sanders and Riley Moss this year, and signed Zach Allen to play DE, who is also an emerging star.

Another smart move was signing Jarrett Stidham to back up Russell Wilson. Stidham looked really good in two starts for the Raiders last season, and the Broncos are paying him $5 million this season, which indicates they have a high opinion of him. Sean Payton is known for the great success he had with Drew Brees for so long in New Orleans, and my guess is he'll pull the trigger on Russell Wilson fairly quickly this season if Wilson struggles again, which seems likely. So though I was never a fan of Payton while he coached the Saints, I like what he's done with the Broncos so far.

Agreed. Broncos a team to follow once again!

If there is any justice left in this league, Ryan Nall will make the team and actually be used as a running back and not just
a special teams guy or a blocking fullback. His talent has been wasted away. Nall could be like Peyton Hillis was. Only he
needs alot of luck like Hillis had to probably see much time at the running back position. I sure hope it works out!
