Who?

Right.

Actually, that's an insult to Pinklon Thomas, who would have hammered David Haye.

I saw on another website that Valuev said he'll be retiring. If he does, all the best to him!

He gave us some nice wins over the likes of Larry Donald, Monte Barrett and Owen Beck.

I thought this fight reminded me of a MMA match where one guy was enormous and the other guy about the size of a cruiserweight. I had it about a draw or one round for either guy. Either way Haye can't claim that he really dominated this fight. One good thing about this fight we won't have to see Valuev-Ruiz III.....

I didn't see the fight but I will read Dan Raphael of ESPN write up on it Monday, he is fair.

Valuev was a mystery to me. A guy that big with some boxing skill never learned how to time a faster fighter. Miguel Cotto is a master at this. But I suppose his size had something to do with his struggle in this area. But whatever, he was a sportsman and attained alot. Hopefully his management did allow Don King to rip him off too much.

To make up for this loss - Fedor had better win tomorrow!!!

Fedor was beaten up in the first round, but came back to win with an amazing KO in the second round!

The negro he was fighting was 5 years younger, 5" taller, 40 pounds heavier and each of his arms appeared about 6" longer than Fedor's.

I was a bit worried for awhile, but then suddenly it was over!

Fedor was beaten up in the first round???????????????? what the hell is that???!!!! you mean he sustained a cut after walking into a jab? or that he took a couple of blows on the ground before expertly getting out of the situation? Other than that it was all Fedor in round one...and ALL Fedor in round 2 ;)

I think it's hilarious that the English media is saying David Haye had an "impressive performance" in his fight with Valuev.  They must be more gullible than the DWF's.  Only a worthless, trash-talking afrolete like Haye could put up a such a  horrendous performance(I actually think he lost and so do many others) and have the media call it "impressive."  Haye threw very few punches per round and was running from Valuev the whole fight. I guess his performance was more impressive than the Klitschko's knocking out everyone they have faced.  When are white fighters going to get some credit?  I hate to vent like this but I am so mad right now.

Someone needs to write an article telling the truth.  The truth is Haye was horrendous, showed no class, and lost  the fight but due to crooked judging is now champion.  Good ole' Gaye would hate to hear this.  I might just write this article myself I am so frustrated.

Yes he did but all that matters is Haye has a belt now.  His mouth will never shut.
Don't be so down whiteathlete! Haye winning the WBA title i believe is a good thing. the media will stop calling the heavyweights boring and weak! And a lot more people will start watching boxing in england. And that will help the real champs like wald and vitali..

Haye is a coward.  His performance was one of the worst I have ever seen.  Talk is cheap.

Check out this quote from another journalist clownabout David Gaye. "He has the looks, the skills, the charisma and the punch,' Schaefer said. "We've all been waiting for the next exciting heavyweight, and he's here: David Haye. And people want to see him in there now against the Klitschkos."

Against Nikolay Valuev, David Haye did what he had to do. No frills, no showboating, no flights of unnecessary machismo. He hit, he moved, he hit, he moved - all the way to the world heavyweight crown.

As the great Evander Holyfield said beforehand, the perfect tactics against the 7ft Russian lead to a "boring fight". Call it boring, call it boxing at its purest.

So the Klitchkos are boring and Haye is boxing at its purest!!!!!!

The Klitchkos have to fight Haye and they HAVE to win with a Fedor style knockout. Simple as that.

The anti-white sentiment is so obvious. Whatever the Klitscho brothers do is boring, too cautious and bad for the sport. Every fighter of color is praised to the high heavens. Here is another quote from article:

Who decided a boxer shouldn't be allowed to win a fight on the back foot? Who said simply walking forwards wins you rounds? As Haye's trainer Adam Booth pointed out, "if you land two punches in the round and don't get hit once, it's you who wins the round", whether you're backpedalling or not.

Fedor ate a jab that opened up some scar tissue. He also got reversed and ate a couple of hard shots from a bit of Rogers' grond and pound.

It was a typical Fedor fight. The guy has been so good for so long, that we are looking for any kind of weakness.

As unpopular as I expect this to be, I have to say Brett Rogers impressed me. The man is a hard worker, who only just recently started fighting full time. That being said, Rogers is not, nor ever will be the biggest threat to Fyodor's title. That distinction should've went to Josh Barnett, but he would rather take shortcuts than train.

Fedor's first loss will be due to age folks, plain and simple. He has been to good for too long for it to be luck.

I wouldn't be surprised if "Jawny"(as Norman Stone would say
smiley36.gif
) beats him.

With David's lack of stamina and chin any heavy could potentially beat him.
