Flagg and fellow Freshman Kon Knueppel in action tonight at 9 against Kentucky! Hopefully Flagg is over his cramping issues and can play to his full ability?

Cooper Flagg looks good against high level competition. He has 12 points and 4 rebounds in the first half.

K. Knueppel also has 12 points for the Blue Devils.

Cooper Flagg will be in school for one and done. This is the only time we can watch him play college ball as a freshmen. I think
K. Knueppel could also possibly jump to the nba too after his freshmen year as he is very talented too!

Pretty good article on Cooper Flagg and how he is a generational prospect, especially in defense.

Duke, featuring Cooper Flagg getting set to play Notre Dame at 12 on ESPN.
Flagg another 15 point first half! Could've been more, but a couple of questionable calls against him. He also had 5 assists and 2 rebounds.
Kon Knueppel, a free missed away from a 10 point half. He had 9 points, 3 assists and 2 rebounds.
Notre Dame, to their credit was down by 16 at one point have, battled back thanks to some honkey's 3-pointers has the lead down to 8.
44-36.

Flagg a career high, 31 points with 10:30 left in the second half!

Cooper Flagg sets an ACC freshman scoring record with 42 points!! Phenomenal! Considering the amount of great basketball players that have come out of the ACC!
Give ND credit. They went on a 19-9 late run to make it interesting. ND shot 61% from 3-point range to keep them in it.
Duke wins 86-78.

I was gonna come on to post. Sensational.

11-14 from the field and 16 of 17 from the charity stripe. I’m no stat expert but that has to be crazy high on some sort of efficiency metric.

In the poster dunk from a game ago, Flagg showed his elite athletecism. His dunk was after dribbling full court and taking off from almost
the corner of the square. This is in a game over a defender. Nasty as you will ever see. There is no doubt that Cooper Flagg could easily dunk from the free throw line. He might even be the only basketball player that just might ever do it in a game and not in a dunk contest. I've only
seen 3 players do it in the nba slam dunk contest. I will also add that Flagg could possibly even do a 2 hand dunk from the free throw line which has never been done by anyone ever.

I wil post the dunk first and then the hilights from todays game where he scored a career high 42 points!

Flagg is the real deal. The best prospect since James (I’m no fan but can appreciate his game).

He will dominate the NBA as his defense is better than his offense and his offense is pro ready.

The dunk from today at 3:30 is another to add to his “nasty collection”. Wow.

Flagg really is a hell of a player. With all the incredible freshman the ACC has had, he now sets the freshman scoring record in a game.

What player is Flagg like? Question for the community. Bird maybe, but Flagg is definitely more explosive. Larry never dunked over people off two feet like Cooper does.

I would say a combonation between Tom Chambers and Keith Van Horn on offense and Andrei Kirelenko on defense. Just a few names
but I could compare him to black players too. He is just an elite player at the highest level who will continue to get better from here!

More athletic, but not the passer Bird was. He's got a long way to go until he's in Bird's category.
I have Bird in my top 5 all time, maybe top 3. Also, Bird was a great defender. Bird was a three time all defensive NBA player. Three time NBA MVP.
Bird almost single handily took Boston from worst to first in one season. Boston was 29-53 in 78' and when Bird arrived in 79-80 they went 62-21. Won their conference. Losing to the Sixers in the eastern conference finals.
In just his second season, Bird took the 80-81 Boston team to and won The NBA Championship!
Bird could've averaged more points per game, but was very un-selfish. He made his teammates better.
Bird also got the best of Michael Jordan even though he was injured and much older. Never losing to Jordan in the playoffs.
Most people consider MJ the greatest player off all time.
Bird also played in what I consider the greatest era in NBA history!
I would compare him to former Duke player Mike Dunleavy Jr., but a little better all-round player. They're exactly the same height, 6'9. Flagg a better ball handler and more explosive.

To be clear, I am definitely not saying he is now in the same category as Bird. He has a long, long way to go for that comparison as far as achievements. I am thinking in terms of general skill set. Dunleavy is a good comparison, but Flagg is further along at this point. I believe Dunleavy was the 3rd pick in the draft.

I was thinking of Van Horn also because of the explosiveness and three point shooting. Chambers was an outstanding offensive player and dunker. Kirilenko was one of the top defensive forwards in the league, as was Bird.
