Cooper Flagg

No bueno. Hopefully they keep him out the rest of the tournament.
Cooper Flagg will not play tonight in the ACC Championship game against Louisville. Flagg recently Won the ACC POY award and the ACC ROY award as well as first team all ACC, and second team all ACC defensive team.! He also carries a team leading 4.0 GPA.
Although Flagg will not be playing look for teammate and fellow freshman Kon Knueppel to step up as he has in the first two tournament games, scoring 28 points in the first game against Georgia Tech and 17 in last night's win over UNC-Chapel Hill.
Hopefully Knueppel has another outstanding game, Duke wins and Knueppel will be named ACC Tournament MVP!
Hated to see Clemson lose last night to Louisville as Clemson regularly had 3 white players starting and or playing significant roles for the Tigers. Clemson will easily make the NCAA Tournament.

It looks as though Cooper Flagg will be ready to go Friday night in the first round of the NCAA Basketball Tournament. However, Stephen A. Smith is chiming in saying there's no way Flagg should play in the first found game as Duke should beat the number 16 seed without Flagg. Although I disagree, Smith's comments have some merit. However, I believe Flagg should play. At least for the first half. He needs to get back into action and get his rhythm and stamina back. First half only if Duke is up big.

Flagg with 18 first half points to lead Duke to a 48-42 half time lead over Arizona. Flagg hits a 35 footer to end the half!

This is the game where Cooper Flagg becomes a household name to even non basketball fans!

Cooper Flagg looking great in his first two pre-season games. In his first game against OKC, he scored 10 points in 14 minutes including two 3-pointers. He also had 6 boards, 3 ast., and a blocked shot.
In game 2 last night against Charlotte 11/3/4 including a behind the back dribble and step back on LaMelo Ball.
Kalkbrenner had a good game for the Hornets. 14/10
Knueppel had 12/4. Knueppel previously scored 18 in his first NBA pre-season action.

Amazing that Flagg at 18 years old would have been entering his Freshman year of college had he not left HS early to go to Duke.

Really looking forward to following Flagg this year as well as Kneupel and Kalkbrenner.
