Shaun Dolac, Buffalo. A former walk-on from the Lance Leipold days, Dolac was second nationally in tackles in 2022 before missing most of last season with injury. He has not missed a beat. In Saturday's 23-20 upset of Northern Illinois, he was almost literally everywhere: He made 19 tackles (15 solo) with 4.5 TFLs, a pass breakup and a 53-yard interception return as NIU was driving to take the lead midway through the fourth quarter.

It's rare to find a tackling-machine linebacker who is also one of the best defensive playmakers in the sport. Dolac checks both of those boxes and then some.

Future NFL player! I think he’s too good for even the CS to stop.

College Football can't seem to help itself as it continues it's march towards one big super conference, treating the other conferences as less than. BSPN is not doubt playing a role with the broadcast money (BSPN is also very much the reason for the transfer portal/NIL and all the issues). Geographic conferences are dead, the pool of teams with the ability to compete in the playoff will also be restricted no doubt.

I just read that Chez Mellusi is stepping away from Wisconsin due to nagging injuries. The article mentioned he may seek another year of eligibility (I think he’s in his 5th or 6th year now). Anyways, they mentioned Yac and the other guy will fill the void. Go Cade.....

So this magic negro is a five star plus recruit?! Why don’t they just add stars for these guys. Like 6, 7 or 8 stars so the DWFs can get extra aroused….

At least he's 6'4! When you are magic and actually built like a quarterback, that's gotta be worth a bonus

I don't think my Michigan fandom can endure a 'Bryce Underwood era' brought to you by Dave Portnoy.

Portnoy is a real DJF. Willing to pony up his own shekels to get the great black hope to Ann Arbor. Good I say. A fool and his money are soon parted…

10 or so years ago I would visit Barstool sports but quickly lost interest in the site. Now it's just a bunch of middle aged White goys with their chosenite company president Portnoy being degenerate gamblers.

I have seen articles (headlines) stating that not only Dave Portnoy but apparently Tom Brady and Larry Ellison were involved in the "recruiting" of the magical Bryce Underwood for Michigan. It would be amazing to see him bust and Michigan continue to fail post Harbaugh.

Beyond that, the NCAA needs to put guard rails on NIL or its going to turn into an absolute circus. Even more so than it already is. I've been trying to see the brightside but it's clear that a new industry is being formed, much like the NFL draft hype machine, where schools get into bidding wars over the affletes served up by high school "scouts". And as Phall pointed out, there appears to be some business logic from the TV networks in how these kids are ranked.

All that said, the media is successfully creating narratives and interest for players coming out of high school. A lot of people are going to want to see this kid play at Michigan because of these headlines. So I'm guessing nothing will change and if anything the NCAA will embrace rather than limit big money deals to players.

I've said before that the legalized but still completely Wild West, unregulated, backroom-dealing way NIL currently is, is unprecedented and uniquely evil in the history of sports economics. It's the worst of both worlds, with all the corruption of a black market economy without the fear of punishment. It's no surprise that magical upsiders and their white liberal (or Jewish) agents are the ones benefiting the most from this corrupt cash cow, and that honest White athletes who just want a little benefit from all the blood, sweat, and tears they've poured into their sport are the ones getting very little of the pie (and that's the lucky ones who are at least getting something).

Michigan’s highest ranked recruit since…Rashan gary! Lol 10 million for a qb in hs is only possible in this clown world. I guarantee he will be another “generational” talent that peaks early and never gets better. Thanks to his recruiting rank he will still be a 1-2 draft pick in a few years but we know there’s plenty of just as good and better white qbs who won’t cost you 10 million

As long as they have Sharone and not Jim. Michigan will stink. They can pour as much $$ as they want into an unproven QB LOL clown world.

He's pulling a Larry Bird. He wants to be the greatest White player ever so he diminishes and neglects White athletes in an attempt to keep his legacy afloat for as long as possible. All too common with White athletes at every level. Sehorn did it too. These situations really show you the difference in mindset between blacks and Whites. Whites will tear down members of their own race to chase individual greatness and achievement whereas blacks pay it forward and help their successors up to their level. Happens outside of sports too. I've seen it with my own eyes. Some will condemn it as them being tribalistic, but you can't deny that supporting your own people is a lot better than keeping them in the dirt beneath you while you march on alone.

I often wonder if the heterogenous nature of the White population in America causes this. Blacks look at slavery and discrimination as something that unites them together. A shared ancestral experience. On the contrary, Whites don't really have anything like that. John Smith's ancestors probably don't have much in common with Joe Ferrari's ancestors. Their reasons for coming to America are different. Their life experiences before and after immigrating are different. Their respective cultures are wildly different. We can even observe this today. A White family from the south has little in common with a White family from NYC. Almost every single thing about them will be different. Now tell me that a southern black family and a black family from NYC are that disparate. There will be more similarities than dissimilarities.

Peyton Manning and Tom Brady were the two best QBs of the past generation and maybe longer when it came to not only greatness but throwing to White receivers. But now they're "cucks" because they don't advocate only for White recruits. Give me a break. I guess we're not far away from getting back to demanding that White QBs openly challenge the Caste System. It would instantly end their careers but hey it would please a handful of anonymous posters over at Caste Football.

If you can't respect Manning and Brady as great QBs I feel sorry for you. This is a site that roots for and supports White athletes and Manning and Brady are two all-time greats. If you need to diminish them because they don't live up in every way to your personal standards and the way you conduct yourself at all times, which must be extremely high, do it elsewhere. Better yet, try focusing on the real world and what public figures need to deal with in their lives and occupations.

well said Don. We can't expect anyone to speak up and effectively end their career, where most of them may not even realize what is going on, being oblivious due to quite simply not giving a damn or because after all, they are athletes and let's face it - not always sharpest tools in the shed.
