I remember after the 2023 write up from Leonardfan, I replied that Carolina had 10 white commitments out of 24 which was a descent number for them. Not sure what's happened to those players. would have to do some research, I guess.

Noticed he also interviewed for the Sacramento State job. Sacramento is a typical commiefornia city but somehow has 50 mil in NIL funds saved up and plans on going FBS next few yearss.

Anyways Vick takes over this hometown School. Word is they will change their mascot to a Pitbull. I expect them to be a Black Power team and BSPN to start airing their games. Lol. From a scheme/coaching outlook, have no idea what Vick is capable of. Never came off as an outright dummy, but wouldn’t label him as bright either. I’m sure the bruvas will play hard for him though!

I figured that was a legitimate comment so I thought their mascot was some kind of gun or a homage to tough Black fighters ie Mandingo then I looked it up and their mascot is a Spartan.

Programs like Boise will need to adopt the same approach as Butler, Creighton, and (old) Gonzaga did in the era of the one-and-done in college hoops - stock up on undervalued whites and "high character" blacks to build a culture-driven program. Right now, they seem to be resorting to e-begging a fanbase that is dwarfed by virtually all major power conference programs. Their OC also "retired" due to NIL concerns. They will never win an arms race with the major programs, even more so now than before.

@Bucky noted that Wisconsin was going the "moneyball" route in NIL. If I were a Group of 5 team I would be combing the transfer portal for the overlooked productive FCS White athletes.
 
True money ball approach would mean more overachievers. One would think!
