Thankfully,Chris Hogan made the final cut.In a sane world,I wouldn't even be fathoming typing what I just typed, but this is Dougtavious & Fat Rex's Caste Clown Circus here in Bills Country now.Hopefully, his injury is sufficiently healed as we all know all too well that white players aren't cut any slack for injuries and quite often feel tremendously pressured to rush back into action for fear of losing the spot they overcame overwhelming odds and prejudices to earn.Hogan is going to have a tough enough time as it is now to see anywhere near the number of snaps he did last season for a variety of BS reasons and that's a crying shame.

P.S.>On a brighter note,I think I'll have a little fun with a cousin of mine I'll be seeing over this Holiday weekend, who happens to be a dyed-in-the-wool DWF.I'll do my own version of "which player would you rather have" and give the choice of A,B,or C and have the Combine/Pro Day stats anonymously listed for Scammy Watkins,Robert "Never Call A Ni***r Bob" Woods, and Chris Hogan.I'm sure I'll immensely enjoy his shock and lame attempts at denial of the fact that Chris Hogan is the best athlete of the 3 as well as being about as strong as both of dem brothas put together !!!!

Hogan was on the field for just 11 snaps in Week 2. He may be the next victim of the relentless purging of White players from the Bills roster.

Sad but true. I was legitimately worried about Hogan not even making the team with Dougtavious Whaley having final say over the 53-man roster. Whaley is running amok and will have this roster rivalling Freckles McKenzie's Raiders in its deplorable lack of Whiteness if he is allowed to continue implementing his rather obvious agenda.

Marquise "China Doll" Goodwin is getting ready to return from yet another injury which will probably lead to the even further marginalization of Chris Hogan. The next step, regrettably, will surely be out the door. Supreme talent is no match for the Casteon Curse !!!

Hogan Deserves To Start

Just like last season, every time Chris Hogan is given an oppurtunity, he does well. Watching him catch that TD pass was one of the few bright spots in an otherwise disastrous game from my standpoint. Way to go Chris !!!

MMM Interview Tricks

Leave it to the local Marxist Media Mavens to turn an interview with Chris Hogan into an Idler Arm Taylor promotional spot. You can tell Chris was very distracted (as was I and so will anybody else be upon listening) due to the Bills' locker room sounding like feeding time at the primate house at the Buffalo Zoo.

Another Fine Performance

Chris Hogan proved once again that he should be starting in the NFL. Since Scammy Watkins went down, Chris has stepped up and clearly shown that he's the best receiver on the roster. Apparently, this has been lost on Fat Rex and Greg Roman as they continue to start Percy "NWA" Harvin and Robert "Never Call A Ni***r Bob" Woods ahead of him and even put Marquise "China Doll" Goodwin into the game before finally giving Hogan a shot after nearly 3 quarters of subpar play by the affletic trio.

While the Marxist Media Mavens and DWFs are making excuses for the stagnant offense and lack of production by the aforementioned afroletes, Hogan comes into games and doesn't seem to be the least bit affected by the absence of Scammy Watkins and LeSpook McCoy. This week Watkins is supposed to be available and with Goodwin now recovered from his 22nd injury, I'm sure Chris will be duly rewarded by the Caste System with a return to the WR5/Special Teams/Bench slots. What a disgrace !!!

I previously mentioned Chris Hogan seemingly only being used to the extent he was in this past Sunday's game as a last resort. This article sheds some light on that very topic. Before Chris and Sanjay Lal convinced Greg Roman to let him have a more prominent role on that fateful drive, he wasn't even getting as many snaps as China Doll Goodwin, which I feared would happen upon Goodwin's return from his latest injury.

During the pre-season, I was fearful of Hogan not even making the team. The 1st NFL team to cut him was the 2011 San Francisco 49ers where Roman was the OC and we all know how much Fat Rex loves him some afroletes. Coupled with Dougtavious Whaley having final say over the 53-man roster, and it's truly a miracle that he made the team. It's shameful to even be talking this way about such a phenomenal talent, but that's the norm in today's sad-sack Caste NFL. I wonder if Steve Largent would be employed in the league these days ??? I have my doubts.

Guess which Bills receiver isn't mentioned by Whaley as a possible starter next season?

Bills GM Doug Whaley suggested the team no longer views Robert Woods as a starting-caliber receiver. "We’d love to (have a bona fide No. 2 receiver), but we think with the mix of guys we have we can generate a number two receiver, between (Marquise) Goodwin, (Robert) Woods, (Greg) Salas who we signed," Whaley said. "Leonard Hankerson if we can get him back and then Greg Little that we signed." Woods said he played the entire season with a torn muscle in his groin before finally shutting it down in November and having surgery. The former No. 41 overall pick is entering the final year of his rookie deal and is coming off a 47-552-3 line. Woods isn't a lock to make the team in 2016.

Saw this ******** earlier. Hogan needs to get out of Buffalo. Their GM is a black supremacist and their HC is a fat buffoon who should never had more than a DC job in this league.

What a collection of bums!!

-Goodwin is a midget track star who may have some value returning kicks. Where's his upside? Lol

-Woods is on his way to bust status. Clearly overrated coming out of USC.

-Salas is good possession WR. Underrated surprised he's still relevant in black supremacist NFL.

-Hankerson and Little fit the title of big strong wideouts who can't run routes and have stone hands. They are both definitely busts!!

Hogan in NE would be phenomenal. Imagine Edelman, Amendola and Hogan with Gronk.

Here's a nice article on Hogan. I particularly like the concluding paragraph: "If all goes according to plan, Hogan would be the fourth option behind Rob Gronkowski, Edelman and Amendola, and maybe the fifth option when Dion Lewis is on the field. The Patriots value dependability, especially out of their fourth or fifth guy. Will he line up in the right spot without Brady barking at him? Yes. Will he run the right routes? It looks that way. Will he finish every play? Absolutely. Hogan isn't a sizzling name, but he's the right fit for the Patriots' offense. That's far more important than jersey sales."

Glad to see this started Topic was not made in vain..Chris Hogan finds himself as the perfect replacement for the inconsistent Brandon LaFell aka "La Drop"...he will prove to be a significant part of the Patriots plans as a vertical threat too!

ex-Bills coach Marrone who said "looking for reasons to why he shouldn't be on the team" no wonder he can't find a Head Coaching Gig....now the Bills can look forward to playing their AFC East rivals; where they will get burned on the regular twice a season now!

Rex Ryan wasn’t exactly thrilled about losing Chris Hogan to the Patriots when the deal went down back in March.

Of course Ryan would hate losing a game of tiddlywinks to Bill Belichick, but to surrender a player who might help his mortal enemy? Allow the rich to get richer in a position that’s so valuable to Tom Brady?

That cuts deep, and the pain is only getting worse for the Bills head coach.

In the three months since the Pats wrestled Hogan away with an offer sheet the AFC East rival and cap-crunched Bills weren’t able to match, Ryan has lost his top receiver Sammy Watkins to a broken foot, while it sure looks like Hogan might be a godsend for the Patriots given both Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola are rehabbing from offseason surgeries.

As it is, Hogan was going to provide much-needed depth for Brady’s favorite receiver duo, who endure a ton of hits during the season just by the nature of the routes they run. Only now, Hogan has had to step in and fill the role during the early camps.

Watching the Patriots offense during the first few open practices of this offseason, Hogan has been one of the central figures. He’s catching everything being delivered his way by either Tom Brady or Jimmy Garoppolo, and he’s constantly getting open.

That 7-Eleven nickname is on the money. He does always seem to be open.

Case in point, on Wednesday, he ran a perfect sideline route, hitting the timing just right to snag a Brady pass before stepping out-of-bounds during 7-on-7 drills. On that play, he had Malcolm Butler on his tail, and there was nothing Butler could do.

During the first two days of minicamp, he’s caught nine passes from Brady, most on the team, and another three from Garoppolo.

“That kid is tough as heck. I really liked that guy,” Ryan said of Hogan back in March. “Big, physical, a great contributor on special teams, and he’s a good receiver. (Belichick) knows what he’s getting.”

What Belichick got was a perfect fit for his offense. Hogan works very well in the Patriots horizontal style of play. At age 27, he’s a few years younger than the 30-year-old Edelman and Amendola, and with the duo sitting out organized team activities and minicamp, Hogan has been running those similar routes, the quick hitters that are staples to Brady and the Patriots offense. There’s little doubt, at 6-foot-1, 220 pounds, Hogan could move into Brandon LaFell’s old “X” receiver role as well.

Whatever the job description, Hogan sure doesn’t seem to be overwhelmed or overmatched by whatever is thrown his way.

“It’s going well so far,” Hogan said. “I’m excited to be here. It’s always exciting to come to a new team and just being able to be a part of the process and learning and getting to know everybody, getting to know the offense and getting to know how we do things around here.”

In three seasons with the Bills, Hogan caught 87 passes for 959 yards with six touchdowns. With Brady throwing him the football, instead of Tyrod Taylor, who knows where it will lead.

“It’s early,” said Hogan. “Right now, I’m just trying to take advantage of all this time that I have. We have all these OTAs, and I had a lot of time to sit and learn the playbook, because it’s a lot. But for me, it’s fun coming into a new offense and learning from (offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels) and (wide receivers coach Chad O’Shea) and Tom and Jimmy and (Edelman) and just being able to learn this offense and trying to be a part of it for training camp and the season.”

Asked what he thought it would take to be a successful receiver in the Patriots offense, Hogan provided the perfect answer.

“Know your job,” he said. “Know your job, know where to line up, and be able to play fast.”

By the look of it, he’s on his way.

Ryan is such a loser. He left your team so he could have a chance as legitimate3rd option at WR not be jerked around as a special teams demon and get replaced by any darkie the Bills draft. Happy for Hogan!

Pats' Chris Hogan: 'I never took anything for granted'

by Conor Orr

There were plenty of teams willing to overpay in the wide receiver market this offseason, but would it surprise anyone if the best pass catcher out of that 2016 class cost just $12 million over three years with $7.5 million guaranteed?

Chris Hogan has always been a grinder, and now that he's firmly nestled in New England -- grinder heaven -- his star might be about to rise.

"For me, I'm an undrafted guy, so every single year was a battle. Every single year I was on the block -- could be cut, could be released. That's kind of how I approached it," Hogan recently told The Providence Journal. "I never took anything for granted. Every single day was an opportunity for me to be on the field, if I was starting, playing or not playing, every single day I came out here ready to work."

By all accounts, Hogan was the star of New England's offseason workouts. He is a shoo-in to start alongside Danny Amendola and will almost certainly top his best numbers in Buffalo, 41 catches, 426 yards and four touchdowns. WithJulian Edelman on the mend, Hogan got a head start working with both Tom Brady and Jimmy Garoppolo as well.

It's difficult to project roles for Patriots wide receivers, or anyone on offense. At one point in time, we all assumed that Amendola would slide in for the departed Wes Welker and stack one 110-catch season atop another. We also assumed that LeGarrette Blount could be a 1,000-yard type back before Dion Lewis crept back into our lives from nowhere.

This one, though, seems like a much safer bet. Hogan was mercifully underrated and under-used in Buffalo and his marriage into Tom Brady's offense seemed like just a matter of time.

Hogan was one of those white players who excelled in preseason only to get cut anyway. This happened in 2012. Whites being cut in favor of lesser black players they outplayed is common.

He was picked up after being cut but never got the opportunity to start he deserved based on his play.

The Patriots have a history of recognizing white talent at wide receiver. Hogan will prove himself to be a quality starting wide receiver. He will, however, never get the credit he will deserve from the mainstream media, which is biased against white receivers.

Interesting article on Hogan in which he mentions being frustrated by not rising up the depth chart more; Buffalo's number two receiver Robert Woods is one of the worst second receivers in the league. Also like the race mention and how the author of the article points out the truth. Biggest potential problem for Chris is there are so many mouths to feed on the Patriots in the passing game -- Edelman, Gronk, Martellus Bennett, Dion Lewis, Amendola. . .

New Patriots receiver Chris Hogan on why he wanted out of Buffalo

by John Kryk, Toronto Sun

The snicker said it all. But he confirmed it with words. Chris Hogan really wanted out of Buffalo. Asked after his first training camp practice with his new NFL team, the New England Patriots, if it was tough to leave the Buffalo Bills, Hogan didn’t exactly shed a tear. “Naw, I mean this is an ideal place for me. It was a change that I think, personally for myself, that I needed,” Hogan said Thursday, after the Pats’ morning practice concluded on the grass fields adjacent to Gillette Stadium.

[snip]

The 27-year-old intimated that there were frustrations for him in Buffalo. Although he did not identify either by name, he couldn’t get past Sammy Watkins and Robert Woods on the depth chart, or priority list.

“It is what it is over there,” he said. “Obviously they have their guys, and that’s who it was. I’m not going to ask for the ball, and all that kind of stuff. I’m a role guy, and I like playing my role.

“Whatever my role is I’m going to play it to the best of my ability, and I think that I can take on a good role here.”

[snip]

Hogan still can’t shake his reputation for being, well, a slow white guy. Yet he repeatedly burns NFL cornerbacks on deep passes, as Buffalo QB Tyrod Taylor happily discovered a year ago.

“Yeah, every single year in Buffalo I was always, like, the underdog. ‘Is he going to make the team?’ Or, ‘How is he going to do?’ I don’t even pay attention to (the doubts) anymore. I know where I want to go, and I know what I want to do. I want to be successful. I’m working as hard as I can to be successful.

“I don’t want to really have to worry about all that other stuff anymore. It used to bother me, but at the end of the day my play speaks for itself. I catch the deep balls, I catch everything short -- so I let my play do the talking.”

How Tom Brady and Chris Hogan planted seed for future connection

by Mike Reiss

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's 33-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Chris Hogan in Friday's preseason win over the Carolina Panthers was the team's top offensive highlight. It it the type of play that builds confidence between quarterback and receiver, and there were three primary takeaways:

Starts with preparation. While the Patriots aren't fully game-planning in the preseason, they are watching film of their opponents, which was probably done most leading up to the game against the Panthers. Hogan said the amount of film that Brady watches is at an eye-opening level and they had discussed how they would react if Carolina gave them a certain defensive look.

Pre-snap communication. Before the snap, Brady looked to Hogan and gave him a signal, with Hogan confirming he received it. Hogan said he already knew what to do based on the defensive look, but the signal was a confirmation that both he and Brady were looking at the same thing pre-snap. That was a result of the film study.

Post-snap execution. Hogan ran an excellent route and Brady's throw was a gem. After the game, Bill Belichick explained some of the nuances of what had unfolded, saying, "Carolina doesn't play a lot of single high coverage. They do it a few times a game, so when you get those opportunities, we talk about trying to go up on them. We did a couple times, and that's one we hit. When they give you that kind of opportunity, and you don't get many of them against [them], you have to make them count."

Brady and Hogan did, teaming up for a play that highlights why it was important for Brady to play in at least one preseason game before he starts serving a four-game suspension on Sept. 3 at 4 p.m. ET. Quarterbacks and receivers build a foundation in the preseason. That play that started in the film room also tested pre-snap communication and then required pinpoint post-snap execution.

That has confidence between Brady and Hogan rising.

Thanks for posting the article. Very interesting to read. These guys are not only athletic but very intelligent. Good to see
them get off to a goof start. Especially since Brady is unfairly being suspended for 4 games with no proof of anything that
he did wrong. It's all here say. I expect Hogan to have a solid year and he could come close to 1000 yards if they play him enough snaps.
