I think alot of people get caught up on this sec defense thing. No one really mentions the lack of competent QB play. The QBs for the most part in the SEC are average to terrible. The teams with good QBs usually light up the good SEC defenses.

(WHITE) Backup QB for Utah State -- Adam Kennedy -- led them over Hawaii. He was thrust into the game, down 21-7, after Chuckie Keeton was injured, immobilized, and carted off the field with a stinger to his spine.

The 6-foot-5 Junior was 8-12 for 163 yards and 2 TD passes. He has pretty good mobility - too. http://espn.go.com/college-football/player/_/id/516958/adam-kennedy

Utah State was only 2-5 with Keeton, with the highlight of their season still being the close loss to Auburn in the opener. I didn't do a lot of research, but I figure that Kennedy should start the next few games, maybe the rest of their games. Needless to say, why wasn't this Junior starting in the first place?

The SEC receives a disproportionate number of the best black players. When they win national championships with primarily black players, it creates a misperception of black superiority. Other coaches then emulate and stock their teams with inferior black athletes. If the best White talent was concentrated in a particular league, you would see great success.
Well another problem is they get some good White linemen and take up guys that could be starters on other teams. Last year LSU had a White corner with 4.3 speed and was a with 10.4 track speed in high school sitting on the bench/special teams for his entire career. Steve Korte was a 4.3 back that was over 220 pounds sitting on the bench. It was a fluke that Hester got as many carries as he did.

Ive been saying the same thing, if the top sec schools want to recruit local black players then go for it, but why would smaller schools or out of state schools try to recruit from the same talent pool? They would only be receiving the kids that the SEC didn't want. If you are going to go into the South there are tons of overlooked White athletes playing on the same field as highly touted recruits.

....But the black players have a detailed, almost play-by-play scouting history attached to every one of their "Rivals/Scouts/BSPN" reports, while the white kids have NOTHING, even if they have outplayed their black teammates/opponents game after game. A coach or scout would have to scout a player (or whole REGION of players) from the ground up, and don't pretend that these "experts" actually know how to scout to begin with.... For the most part, they just rely on the bogus "rankings" and scout the "chosen" players (who beez black).
