"I can still somewhat do push-ups, dips and pull-ups, so it appears my upper left arm and shoulder lost less strength than the lower half, which still has a long way to go.
---That sounds excellent!
I remember Patty from NJ very well. We had really good groups of Populists in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and NYC.
--- New Jersey had - and still does have - an amazing number of good people for such a politically degenerate state.
I was out that way a lot for meetings and other activities for a number of years. Made a lot of friends, some of whom I'm still in touch with. One lives in Bucks County on about 15 acres of land very close to the Jersey border.
--- Vic. We r still in touch too.
He would have regular informal get-togethers that would draw anywhere from 20 to 40 people from PA, NJ, NY and VA, including at different times a PA state senator, a historical revisionist of note, and even Jared Taylor back in his early days after he started American Renaissance.
--- I'm bad at names - like remembering who was where and when - but i remember David Irving was in NJ giving a talk to a pretty big crowd. That was what, 35 years ago? I recall him saying that in 3 years time nobody would believe in the "holocaust" anymore. Cynic that I am, I said. "yeah right". The worst thing about my cynicism is that I'm also usually right.
I was probably in eastern PA, NJ and NY State over 50 times between 1988 and the mid-1990s as we always had balloted Populist Party candidates and various functions ongoing. We had a Populist Party candidate on the ballot for every New Jersey congressional district one year, a helluva feat for an under-financed right wing third party. Many good times were had in that state. Still have some cousins in NJ and even lived there for a year when I was a tyke.
--- U must hv gone to the German-American Club - or whatever its official name is - in southern NJ. I was last there the night before Hurricane Sandy struck. Odd apocalyptic atmosphere. Not everyone showed up - busy boarding up their windows etc. I wound up right in the middle of it.
--- I lived in NY but often went over the GW Bridge to NJ. It's actually a gorgeous state away from the urban areas. I could write more by PM if u ever feel like it. Keep getting better!
