The Favre name is almost like the Smith name around these parts. I’ve known several growing up. I believe the first European resident in Hanc0ck County was a Favre and an Indian interpreter for the French. His son had two or three wives and one was Choctaw. A couple of sons were born from the latter. There are more than a few Farves around today that can claim Indian ancestry from way back. I’m pretty sure if you have just 1/132 Indian ancestry or something and the rest is European you are White. They say Brett is ¼ Choctaw, however. It shouldn’t be a big issue, but I often wondered how the media felt about that.

Palmer had a decent debut as a Card.. 300+ yards, pair of touchdowns, & close to 66% completion.

Not bad..
but losing to St Louis is not good news :icon_redface:

Week 2, average for Palmer.. but Cards get a W.

I was looking at the week 2 QB stats late Sun night (before Pittsburgh-Cincinnati), Palmer was in the #10 spot in yards per game & yards per attempt.
At .500, peforming @ his position in the top third of the league. Early, but a legit start.

Palmer looked bad against New Orleans.. mediocre @ Tampa. But threw for 250 yards & tossed a critical 4th quarter TD to beat the Bucs. Arizona is at .500, & personally I'd give Palmer a C+ for the first quarter of the season.

It's unbelievable that the espn crew are actually bragging about the patriots new offense and especially their new black receivers most notably kedrell Tompkins. The truth is the patriots have never looked worse on offense during the Brady era. Only Edelman has been a reliable receiver. Their main running back, Steven Ridley, looks terrible and just should not be in the nfl. They sorely miss welker, woodhead, and gronk. Thus far they have survived via playing against terrible offenses.

Haha, very funny stuff. But why would the NFL name their “Diversity Awardâ€￾ after a former NBA player? I suppose a vile buffoon with Lapchick’s Marxism-laden DNA transcends space and time, let alone corporate athletics.

High yellow, haha. For the record, I don’t believe that Favre, Brees, or Palmer have any partial non-white ancestry…they just act like racially-anesthetized clowns at times. I wish Palmer the best of luck on the field in his newest hyper-Africanized destination, but personally, I think he’s prone to mistakes and will fail yet again to live up to his billing.
Here are a few photos of Farve's pops. To me he resembles former AFL player Wahoo McDaniel who was partially Native American. Irv had the same build and facial features........http://kiln.passchristian.net/remembering_irv_favre____a_top_coach.htm

I'm hoping to see the Dolphins put on a show tonight. Tannehill to Hartline has a nice ring to it. Tannehill has really made great strides this season. He is becoming one of the top 10 qbs in the nfl. Hartline is also looking to have back to back 1000 yard receiving seasons. Let's go Dolphins.

Palmer may not be back with AZ next year, with mediocre production and a high salary.

The Cardinals will probably be looking for a QB in the 2014 draft.

I thought they should have drafted Mike Glennon or Landry Jones in the 2013 draft, both of whom would have fit their offense.

But according to DWF's, this is the perfect year to draft a QB (2014)! If their record is bad enough, they might have a shot at the future HOFs Teddy Bridgewater, Brett Hundley, Marcus Mariota, or Tahj Boyd! Or, they can even get a top-tier QB in a later round after drafting a sumo O-lineman in the first. Future stars like Stephen Morris, Logan Thomas, Braxton Miller, James Franklin, or Devin Gardner will be around after the first round and will be awesome. Just ask any DWF and they'll tell you so. :afro::sick:

Palmer & the Cards win yesterday, get back to .500.

Palmer threw sparingly, but had 2 TDs & a 72% completion rate.
At 4-4 in a tough NFC West.. I think Palmer (& the Cardinals) are basically pushing. They haven't really exceeded, or failed, to play up to their potential so far this season (?)

I was playin around looking @ stats, & was surprised to see how high Palmer has climbed in all-time NFL pass. yards. He's currently in the mid 30s, but will probably pass Kurt Warner & Jurgensen before the end of the '13 season & get to around the 30th spot. He's about 1000 yrds behind both, w/8 games to go.

Palmer has been a good quarterback that has played on a lot of bad teams.

He's definitely elevated the Cardinals this year.

Palmer had a good home-opener.. 300+ yards, 2 TDs, no interceptions.

And to his credit, Trent Dilfer disregarded Caste cue cards.. describing Palmer as an 'underrated athlete' (following a Palmer scramble) :thumb:

Palmer looks like he did 10 years ago when he was one of the most promising young qbs in the game. His arm looked live and strong, it was honestly like I was in a time warp watching him last night. The contrast from the Arizona offense to what I witnessed I'm the other games I watched was striking. He was actually throwing the ball more than 10 yards down the field, the offense wasn't we screens or 5 yard routes to soft spots in coverage.

I hope the offense led by Palmer can destroy the 49ers and Seahawks who I do not feel are built to defend the vertical passing game - they are good because they keep the offense in front of them and attack, no offense seems to want to attack them.

True. And last night Palmer surpassed K. Warner's franchise record for single season passing TDs (& Palmer still has 3 games left to pad that record).
Palmer in his mid 30s looks like he's at the peak of his professional career. It's cool to watch. He's in a good spot, w/a much better mentor in Arians, than Marvin Lewis..

I submit that Palmer is the league MVP. As much as I like Stanton, it was painfully demonstrated late last season, how valuable Carson is to the Cards franchise. Speaking of.. what happened to Ryan Lindley & Logan Thomas.. are they still in Arizona (?)

Palmer's rediculous and random attack on Brady merely proves what I've always known about him. This spoiled and underachieving twerp is probably highly jealous of Brady, resentful of his perennially white-friendly offense, and all of his great success while Pamler (an undeniably great regular season QB at times) is a major playoff choke-artist.

Another reason for Palmer's envy of Brady is thier opposite paths to the NFL. Palmer was 1st overall and handed the starting job. Brady was 199th overall and started as the 4th QB on the depth chart before working his was up from obscurity.

How did Brady "get busted" (as Carson alleges) anyway? He was proven innocent in court.

Cuck Palmer even admitted he didn't know any of the details and was just passing judgment on hearsay. He might as well be considered an honorary black quarterback from now on. Screw Arizona.

Carson Palmer retired. He had a heckuva career. He was a good NFL quarterback for 15 years.

It's always a bummer when a quality white player retires. Hopefully young white quarterbacks such as Jared Goff and Carson Wentz will take over where Palmer left off.

Always liked Palmer's game. He was the prototypical quarterback with size and a very strong and accurate arm. He was mobile too, but a devastating knee injury suffered against the Steelers in a 2005 playoff game in just his second season as a starter stopped him from being among the greatest. He also had a few other major injuries, otherwise he would figure prominently statistically among the all-time leaders.

Palmer had bad luck having to play his entire career with the Bengals, Raiders, and Cardinals, three of the worst franchises in the NFL. With a better situation he would have a fair chance of being an HOF level player.

I have enjoyed Palmer's misfortune since he insulted Brady in September 2016.
