wow dude, that is SO ignorant comming from a guy with lumsden on his nickname. Lumsden runs a 4.43 every day of the week. He got better balance, way better vision. He is strong as a bull. Brian has better hands and is a more experienced pass protector. But Jesse is such a natural runner, he is a better RB at this point of his career. What makes you think the oposite? I guess its because he didn't play college in america? The competition don't make the player, it only makes the hype.

Colonel_Reb...I'm not from Quebec either but I'm Canadian and I speak french fluently.

Gi-15 and Lumsdenpower are arguing about who is the better Tailback, Lumsden or Leonard. Gi think Lumsden is better, while lumsdenpower believes Leonard to be the better back.

and let's hope that Pittman is as much of a bust as his buddy also listed as third string, Travis Minor.

Thanks for the heads up there TorontoArgos. I figured it was something like that, but I thought maybe the argument had gone into something else as well.

cmon, that was just low... I prefer the french translation, where they take shot at british instead.

Let's come back to the subject. Rams are 10th in the waiver rankings right? still a strange move. But pittman is just a guy, a powerback without size. No real threat to Leonard, maybe they'll try him at KR... Edited by: Gi-15

i love Canada personally. if you got a problem with the pic, talk to Peter Griffin

Pittman flat out sucks, i think. he couldn't beat Aaron Stecker and some undrafted rook for a roster spot...

Ranek was released by the Eskimos before the season and wasn't picked up by anyone. Same with Antonio Warren and Troy Davis.

We seem to have a disproportionate number of Quebecois here on CF (or maybe just vocally so). Not that I'm complaining. It's just curious is all.

when you start watching football, you don't see the caste right away, but after a couple of season, you ask yourself why no white running back? no white receiver? no white cornerback?..and you start playing football and you wants model, but no model are there for you..so we start to checking on the internet and googling : White running back..The first article I read was about Luke Staley..damn that I was mad..anyway, now everytime I watch football, I need to know how many white are starting..lol my bro always tell me that I root for different team, but no I dont root for a particular team, I root for some player..

I was just curious of knowing why so many really talented guys I grew up watching here in canada can't make it in the big leagues. I used to be naive about this just like most people, thinking that the best guy always gets on the field, but, the lumsden situation and how he was released 2 times in the first waves of cuts, without getting time in preseason games and without getting a sniff from other teams despite off-the chart mesurable, opened my eyes to it. It was as much all the talk going on on redskins forum last year as I was trying to get info on how he was doing, I kept seeing people doubting him, saying he could not play even if he was clearly the best guy overall in mini-camps. Hell, the more you now, the more you understand whats going on.

I think we are just 2 Quebecer though, there are some guy from ontario who are speaking french in the hull-ottawa-gatineau region.

I'm an English Canadian but learned to speak French (not Quebecois) in school.

Gi-15, the way I see it the NFL is big-league American Football while the CFL is big-league Canadian Football.

Ever American player dreams of making the NFL...but the most common reasons for ending up in the CFL are a lack of size and bad luck. The CFL is full of great players.

Football in Quebec is huge. That's probably why.
