You got it!

Just about every play during a telecast no matter how routine is replayed, sometimes several times, but Leonard's Leap was deemed unworthy of a single replay.

Yeah, that's pretty low. The blackout is their best weapon. Luckily we have the internet. It will be the coffin of the MSM.

Haven't seen Leonard's name anywhere today. I don't know that there is another back in the league that poses the consistent dual threat that Leonard does. Hopefully he will not have to spend his career in obscurity spelling the latest version of the chosen ones.

The sports media loves this tactic with fast white athletes.

"Fast white guy? Never happened. We didn't see it."

There is humour in your picture Lumsdenpower:

The Cardinals white players seem to be thinking:
"Heh, heh, go ahead man, score a touchdown, I don't care. Beat these suckers."

And the black coach with his arms at his hips:
"Wha I jis done gone an seen a mirackle. Wha dat big white boy jis flowed over my bruda. Wha dat can't be!
Damn!"

lmao. also all two Cardinals white players somehow made it to the picture

Yep, the blackout is effective, but the internet and word of mouth are effective tools too, that is if we use them.

Fox news amazingly showed these stats.

'Brian Leonard rushed for his first 100-yard game of his career, making the rookie the first running back to compile at least 100 rushing yards against Arizona this season. Frank Gore gained just 55 yards in Week 1; Shaun Alexander ran for 70 yards in Week 2; Willis McGahee ran for 98 yards in Week 3; and Willie Parker rushed for just 37 yards in Week 4'.

Nice one Leonard.

Wow, I hope some other outlets follow their format, although I'm already reading that the awesome Ravens defense will likely keep Brian from having 2 consecutive 100 yard performances. I'm sure a lot of people thought the same thing about him last week, we'll see.

Thus far no team has rushed for 100 yards against the Ravens. Totals for eachgame are low --- 55, 61, 69, 99, and 49. I think the Ravens will bear down even harder against Brian. Hoping he does great.

I can't believe its been almost 4 years since a white running back had 100 yards. It finally happened yesterday. I hope noone will call him a fullback anymore.

I'm really hoping that he is gonna have 100yards...But's let's be realistic a little bit, yes Leonard looked GREAT against Arizona with an offensive line shaky(incognito is good)..But the ravens got a GREAT front seven, with a great safety, McCalister is good against the pass, in fact, I don't think Frerotte is gonna have a great game, I expect at least 2 interception, TOrry Holt isnt the same receiver of the past year. In my head, If Leonard have like 60 or 70 yards with a YPC of 3.5, that's gonna be good..
I really hope i'm wrong..

RBs vs the ravens:
Rudi Johnson- 18 att 50 yards (15 long)
Thomas Jones- 24 att 67 yards (9 long)
Edgerrin James- 10 att 57 yards (27 long)
Jamal Lewis- 23 att 64 yards (28 long)
Frank Gore- 16 att 52 yards (10 long)

Hopefully he can outperform the prior RBs again this week.. Ravens have a tough D, but they are bound to get roughed up a little one week.. hopefully it will be this week.

AZ shutdown everyone else besides Leonard, I don't see why Leonard cant do it against the Ravens as well. Would be great to see him leap over Ray Lewis

and Riggins, you can download 11 minutes of Leonard's highlights from the link posted earlier in this thread. a page back or so.Edited by: backrow

Steven Jackson (groin) has been ruled out for Week 6.

This will be his third consecutive missed game; the initial timetable for Jackson was at least two-to-three weeks. That he's been ruled out so quickly for Week 6 doesn't bode well for Jackson's chances to play in Week 7. Rookie Brian Leonard will get another start, this week against Baltimore.

Remember that huge debate we all had here at CF about the moral issue raised in "wishing" Jackson would get hurt so that Brian could start? Well, regardless of what you guys all think, I for one am glad for this injury. I mean, come on, it's only a groin, which always heals with time.

I'm so excited that Brian will be seen as a feature back potential (as he should) in a league where he isnt supposed to be. We may not see this again for a long time...hopefully Jackson remains out this entire season in order to "play it safe" because his team has ZERO chance of making the playoffs anyway.

of course i'm excited about Jackson being down. and it's not like he had spine injury or even torn ligaments etc. he will be out AT LEAST two more games.

if Leonard gets the rest of the season to himself which he might if everything goes ok, we just might have a 1000 yard rusher! wishful thinking? maybe, but Brian is good enough imo.

If the Rams don't get their passing game in gear, as someone pointed out, the defenses can focus on Brian and make it very difficult for him to find daylight.
