BSPN put out what seems more like a rebuttal piece to what came out yesterday. It's no surprise since they are the ones who propped up and really pushed the myth of the qb revolution: http://m.espn.go.com/nfl/story?storyPage=hotread141204

This is a pretty amazing admission by BSPN. They are admitting that there's a problem. Interestingly, Smith, Pryor, and Manuel are left out of the conversation. Those three take "disaster" to a new level.

Haha yes they do. It was absurd how last season everyone was hyping up Pryor when Mcgloin played so much better than him. Manuel has been bad as well and was drafted soley because he was black. There was nothing indicative during his time at FSU he was worthy of a 1st round pick. The league is a copycat league with no one being able to see through the hype or think for themselves. Everyone was mocking Barkley and Nassib in the 2013 draft yet they will probably end up sticking around the league longer than either of those two guys.

Geno Smiff has easily been the worst qb to come into the league since Jamarcus. He has totally been coddled by the media, free from any biting criticism and was handed the starting job and given a full offseason of preparation. Anyone who watched his demeanor in college could tell he lacked any sort of mental toughness when things weren't going his way. If he was white he would of been labeled a system qb prior to the draft and probably not have been drafted at all. Instead he benefitted from the black quarterback hype that carried over from 2012. It's amazing how epically wrong the so called expert personnel evaluators are so much of the time.

Meanwhile Barkley and Nassib are both being coached up and developed under the radar. GLennon is getting screwed by the offensively inept gator smiff but still played better than either Manuel or smiff ever have.

A small error in the article, but I will not let it go unnoticed. In the caption below Griffin's ugly mug, it says, "Robert Griffin III posted a 9-6 record as a rookie starter in 2012. He's 4-14 in the two seasons since." Not true. He's really 3-14. 3 wins last season, zero this year. They are trying to give Griffin credit for the week 2 win over Jacksonville. Gremlin played only a handful of snaps before getting hurt. Cousins played the vast majority of the game and was solely responsible for the win.

Maybe the crack research team of expert journalists at ESPN remembered that Cousins was in full boyscout mode in saying "This is Robert's team" and mistook his well-meaning, awe-shucks modesty as a literal claim that RGIII was responsible for the win.

Sort of like when a mom says that her toddler daughter "helped" bake the cake, when really all she did was act cute and lick the bowl.

So, basically, RGIII was a toddler in that game, minus the cuteness, and the toddler would probably be a better quarterback, too.

Also, I KNOW I can't be alone in thinking that RGIII looks like Vanessa Huxtable with a mustache.

I think that was because the article was about black quarterbacks that have regressed now that the league has figured out running QB's. Smiff, Pryor, and Manuel were horrible from the first day they stepped on to the field, so there was no "regression" there to speak of.

The insanity looks like its going to carry on in Washington: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...yder-allen-may-side-with-rg3-and-fire-gruden/

Meddlesome jew jock sniffing owner who has been one of the worst in the league since he bought the team is going to continue to defend his failure of a black quarterback. Allen who is responsible for the trade which created this mess is of course going to try and force out Gruden who actually seems to have some common sense since he realizes what is required to run his offense. Griffin may be successful at shipping out his second coach in as many years all the while remaining coddled and insulated from any criticism.

I have to say I actually have some respect for Gruden to have come out publicly against Griffin.

I hope the Redskins fans respond by not attending games and buying Redskins merchandise.

I think upper brass on teams where the owner isn't a meddlesome fool will have to think about drafting or having a high profile Black qb get demoted. It seems like Washington will forever be a drama titled All My Black Quarterbacks. From Jason Campbell, to Donovan Mcnabb to RG Knee...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4G1lr30bzc&list=PLC3670E30D954C332&index=1

Ps other writers have come to the conclusion that being a corn ball brother is the first step to having a feuding locker room and quarreling among the management staff.....http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/7406/robert-griffin-iii

An unnamed coach says he doesnt think the spread offense is the reason black quarterbacks are struggling. You know a witchhunt would occur if he put his stamp on it. It is also stated Brees played in a spread at Perdue. Its almost implied by this coach black quarterbacks arent just smart enough.

It seems that there is one more excuse for the failure of black quarterbacks - they came from a spread offense. One of the endless excuses made for blacks.

Why don't they just say they're not that good?

You're expecting the truth?

I know you're not. It is frustrating. I'm waiting to see how far "they" are going to to in altering the game to try and make the QB a fully black position.

Nobody takes the dog killer seriously. Most of the comments mock him and The Rape Ape Winston. Only the black commenters seem to see Winston's "potential".

Check out the posts from "Wendy Mitchell" Every single post thats critical of Jameez, there she is like a dog turd on your front lawn in the morning, to give her 2 cents and to make excuses for him not being someone you would want to build your team around. Despite the fact that the NFL is 70% black, a fine afflete like Jameez won't be allowed to succeed because the powers-that-be running the NFL are "racist"

She's probably just one of those ugly b*tches who's bitter because no dude, Black, White, Mexican, or Asian will have her, meanwhile White chicks make her feel ugly.

So she's one of those jackass "proud Black women" who spend endless hours (and welfare dollars) at the salon getting their nails did and hair lightened and straightened so that their nappy ass hair will be more like the Barbie they secretly LONG to be.

On a more serious note though it is heartening to see that most of the comments seem to consider Winston a bust-about-to-happen and an overrated douche.

With OTAs starting up I have noticed some black QB hype/false confidence/entitlement

Geno Smith still thinks he is somehow entitled to being the starting QB for the Jets. Hopefully Fitzpatrick takes the job and they draft a white QB to groom behind him.

In Buffalo fat Rex has compiled a quoataback dream team with EJ Manuel and Tyrod Taylor. Cassel is easily better than both those QBs.

The Cardinals are trying to invest time into Logan Thomas and develop him. If anyone recalls Thomas from Va Tech - he has no accuracy whatsoever. He really does suck. It amazes me how blind these coaches and personnel people are when it comes to evaluating QBs.

Smiff/Manuel/Thomas have no business being talked about as starting QBs now or as the heir apparent to the position in the next few years. They absolutely suck.

The issue with these three teams is that the best QB on each is an older white QB. Hopefully each other these teams either trades for one of the many good young white QBs rotting away on rosters or drafts a white QB.

This just in, Jameez didn't bomb out on his Wonderlic test, and now the web is abuzz with more Peyton Manning comparisons. Really. Here is a slobbering article about the latest black QB supastar. It's pathetic how badly they want blacks to take over the position. But for every Jameez that tests out okay, there are four dozen Joe Webbs and Dennis Dixons. And Jameez is still going to be a mega-colossal franchise-wrecking bust.

I really don't care what his wonderlic is. The more alarming stat is the 18ints he threw that no one seems to give a Damn about!! Seriously it's crazy hes seen as unanimous overall pick.

I don't think he really scored that high. I'm almost positive there had to be some cheating going on on the part of the test administrators. Or maybe there isn't even any proof he scored that high and the media just made it up. Since the beginning of the year they've really pushed the "highly intelligent pocket passer", next peyton manning storyline about Winston . They had a lot riding on this, just imagine how stupid they would have looked if his wonderlic score showed that he was barely literate ? Which is probably more accurate

Or how he totally lost his composure in his final bowl game and reverted to "bad Jameez". any white QB who melted down to that extent would plummet down the boards.

In the past all the QB wonderlic scores used to leak at the same time but now we just have an anonymous NFL official telling some reporter from yahoo that Winston scored a 27 and we're supposed to believe that . And the only other score we know is mariotta's, who scored 33, also a good score . That's just a little fishy to me .

Ya that was great watching bimbo Fisher yelling at his prized QB. The guys baggage is simply being swept under the rug. NFL.com writer took to Twitter he other day calling out people who compared Jameez to other black QBs that have sucked in recent years. He got butthurt and started right away with the race card. Claiming people lump all black qbs together. Kind of like every white rb is slotted as FB and how every white wr is compared to Welker. Cry me a river Bucky Brooks!!
